The assessor kept stuffing them around. After a month they seen the sag and sent out a replacement. The gold side sagged within 3 days again. Went back to forty winks and they replaced it with a new sealy mattress. Worst mattress ever. My back and neck are so bad I’m having to go to chiro once a week. Can’t wait for my new mattress to arrive. This seems to be a common occurrence in this mattress. The price you pay is such a rort for such a horrid mattress. Forty winks have been fantastic though. 5 stars for them. Minus 5 for myside.

with this horrid thing. I went in for plush and they talked me into buying this blue side mattress as I'm a side sleeper and need plush for my sore shoulders and ribs. This mattress hurts worse than my old mattress. It sags instantly and no comfort whatsoever as it's hard and not plush. I weigh 75kgs and sleep alone, it feels like theres springs digging into your sides. I'm constantly tossing and turning. I'm gonna have to try sell this mattress and take a heavy loss as it's only 2 weeks old. I'm physically unable to sleep on it due to sagging and pain. They say it takes 3 months for your body to adjust to a new mattress but this mattress is made by Satan and is torture to sleep on...I'm lucky if I get 2 hours of sleep a night on it.

wife whom has stage 3 Scoliosis & Fibromyalgia suffers from terrible nights sleeps and sought to alleviate some of this discomfort by getting my side of the bed firm, & hers not so.

We were happy with the purchase & regarding the firm side of the bed I remain happy, but only in this regard…

After 3 months my wife’s side of the bed started to sag where a third of yourself disappears into the bed. So my wife not to complain or cause a fuss, just put up with it, until about three months ago when I saw a Facebook ad from Black Duck beds where segments of the foam cell could be replaced & thought even though it is 2 years on since we purchased this ‘lifetime warranty from store $7000 retail price matrass’ I will enquire as to how Myside manufactures in the hope we may be able to purchase or receive replacement panels.

I spoke to a lady [Name Removed] who was helpful, upon the me telling the aforementioned, her requesting to send through photos of the label, the bed base, whole bed and a ruler down from a broomstick from one side of the matrass to the other supposedly in an effort to assess the sag in the matrass. I was also asked to send through a receipt of the purchase to review.

We were excited to have been listened to & to receive a reply only to be told that A. The matrass was purchased at an auction so no warranty was included. B. We purchased a gen 9 matrass which has a lot of comfort layers C. The measured sagging images are within the accepted tolerance.

This response has been disappointing as we feel we could’ve been notified regarding the fact that it has been purchased new at auction leaving us in the position of an unwarrantable claim before my wife having to lift matrasses up and partly rearrange a small room to do so. Also, I wonder why this ‘exclusive to Forty Winks product’ was at auction leading me to think that the matrasses may have been put to auction as they were a faulty product, & would, even though I didn’t ask Myside or the auction house this would appreciate some clarity on this, as the Myside matrass auction of the day had no details in the auction listing product description from the vendor (Forty Winks distributor?)?

The broomstick tape measure sag measurements taken may satisfy their requirement granted, however the valley my wife sleeps in I think has to be seen to be appreciated.

to take on a claim unless I could demonstrate 4 cm or more of visible sag. So I waited another year, and things got worse. I was tossing and turning so much to try and alleviate back pain, which resulted in very poor sleep. I started a warranty claim in earnest and initially was dismissed outright as there was no visible sagging, and with a generic statement that body impressions 'can create comfortable, healthy sleep'. I am shortly to escalate this to Forty Winks as the retailer responsible, and to ACCC to see if I can get some sort of acceptable outcome. So far the definitions within the warranty are serving as a justification for MySide not to investigate customer claims of poor mattress performance.
