Kincrome Power Tools
This water pressure cleaner ticks all the boxes for me. It works well like my other 2 pressure cleaners (Karcher Winner 10 & Gerni Classic 114.2).… Read more
This Kincrome pressure cleaner looks better with the blue & black two-tone mix compare to other cleaners. I looks solid, and apparently Kincrome has quite a bit of confidence into it's durability, as they are offering 5 years of warranty (2 after registering).
I got myself this Kincrome pressure cleaner in a "second attempt", after first trying my luck with the smaller Kincrome model K16261, but when testing it at home, I found the power-output to be lacking behind all the rest. Supercheap made it easy to swap over to this bigger model (K16262) - thus I did that, just paying for the price-difference (both were on special ($135 vs. $200)).
I attached a picture of the difference in results when cleaning my driveway with K16261 vs. K16262.
Based upon Kincrome's own max. pressure data for both cleaners, the bigger one is 12.5% more powerful. That was apparently all it needed.
I reckon, the smaller one (K16261) should be discontinued and the cost-saving created by reducing this model range should be used to reduce the sales-price of the bigger cleaner (K16262).
I'm very happy I bought one – I bought this tool at least one year ago and love it. All in one! I'm not a great user of it but found it so convenient and it did the jobs I had to… Read more
do with it. It take a little of puzzle solving to get all the functions; but it's not rocket science. The reason I review it today is because I wanted to give one to my grand kids and their parents. I can see it for almost $40 but have no idea how much I paid for mine. Until then I had flimsy cheap tools that you sometimes could exchange the ends for a straight or curved need... I'm pretty happy with mine
Sorry to hear to troubles – I purchased mine about 3 years ago and I agree about the tyres but that's about it. Mine has worked hard as a commercial pressure cleaner at least… Read more
every week for 3 years and its never missed a beat. Ive got 30 meters of hose to get me where I have to be and I guess the motor could be considerably quieter. I use a semi synthetic oil in the pump and standard diesel oil in the motor. All oils are changed on a regular basis as is the engine air filter.
I really wish you had the run that I have had. I am not in anyway affiliated with Kinchrome or any dealership.
I bought this K16261 today from Supercheap. Before buying I checked and compared the PSI pressure of that one with my 2 other pressure cleaners… Read more
(which do still work): Gerni Classic 115.2: max. pressure 1668 PSI Karcher Winner 10: max. pressure 4000 PSI Apparently, those numbers do not account for much, as I would say that my 2 old pressure cleaners do have about the same pressure output. When I saw that the Kincrome K16261 has 1740 PSI "allowable pressure", which I have to interpreted as "max. pressure" (confirmed: Kincrome calls it 1740psi max pressure on their web site), I was expecting about the same as my other 2 pressure cleaners. I was however very much confused in the shop by the additional info of rated pressure 1160 PSI printed on the box as well, of which I could not make any sense, and obviously there is no way in the shop to test the pressure cleaner... I have tested the K16261 now, and was quite disappointed - both my other pressure cleaners are way more powerful. Actually the K16261 is only a little bit better than a high quality non-powered metal-nozzle, which I have for my garden-hose... However, the K16261 outputs an even spray (-pattern) and currently I am thinking of keeping it because: 1.) It might actually be better, if I do not "shoot" high powered water beams onto the paint of my cars. 2.) I do not know, if it would be easily possible to swap the K16261 for the K16262, which is a Kincrome pressure cleaner, which officially has the "label" 1958 PSI, where the K16261 has the "label" 1740 PSI, whatever it is that those numbers are supposed to stand for (certainly for something else as on a Gerni pressure cleaner). Thus, a little bit more of expected "umpf" (12.5% more), for an extra $65 (as long as they are both on special ($135 vs $200). I'd actually recommend to have the K16261 discontinued and to sell the K16262 only, but for a lower price...
Update: Supercheap made it easy to swap this K16261 over for the bigger K16262, thus I paid for the price difference and I am happy now with the bigger K16262.
I attached a picture of the different results when cleaning my driveway with the 2 different models.
