Best Simpson Washing Machines

Simpson use to be a great Product, but how bad their washing machines are today this 7kg isn't worth a cent, what a piece of Rubbish not even 3yrs old has problems spinning and draining, you should be thrown out of Australia, and the stores.

screech like the sound of stripped gears. Called up service centre and were advised no service available for 4 days and only could come on a day where we are not home. Now have to wait a week and expect that it will be weeks before actual repair can occur so we are family of 5 without washing machine (once again after similar issue with the previous Fisher and Paykal back in May). Sadly it seems there are no longer any decent appliances we can purchase that last. Expect we will also now have to buy another machine as a spare because I cannot even rent a machine for short term. Absolutely fed up with the terrible quality we all now have to put up with.

I moved to other places and it was exactly the same, I used to go to the dump and scavenge parts of other Simpson's. Fill hose can't handle holding water, deteriorates. But that's the way it's designed. Well they are gone now. Forgot how many I fixed in indigenous communities I got our buying team to source another brand as it was embarrassing to sell a product that died so soon, often just out of warranty. That would have been 1000s of sales lost for Simpson. I have not sold Simpson products ever since, I hope Simpson has done better. .

adjustment is needed, could be challenging for one person.

The manual has a Helpful Hints Washing Problems that has a lot of detailed information just in case your unsure of how to place your dirty items in the machine, what colours and fabrics go together, adding fabric softener, check the pockets for small items and so on.

You can also delay your washing program by 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 hrs.

If you have young children no problem it has a child safety lock.

The machine also has a favourite function which the program can be saved for the next time you use the washing machine.

You can also enable/disable the end of wash beeping mode in case you want to wash late at night and don't want to hear the end of cycle beep.

The program selector knob is easy to use and has alot of programs for different washing times. I found there is no cycle for wool jumpers. I did try using the delicate cycle except I found the cycle was to long, I used the daily cycle instead. The washing machine has a Time Adjust button which I haven't tried yet, I will next time.

The electronic buttons are simple to understand and use as you have Temperature, Water Levels, Rinse Options and Start/Pause push buttons and an Electronic Display Finish which tells you the remaining time left.

It even has a QR Code to register your product for your warranty.

I purchased the Simpson Top Load Washing Machine because it was important to me to have an agitator, it also was a very good price from JB HI FI Yes I would recommend this product.

Always leaves lint on clothes. Very loud. Unbalances easily. Lasted only 3.5 yrs

have to hover near the laundry while washing. Such an inconvenience. Has been leaking water after the wash cycle was completed so if you dont remove clothes in time then we have to do a separate spin cycle. So much for their 4 star energy efficiency and 3 star water rating. The one thing I am impressed with is how we have error codes regularly. Passes with flying colours there. Plumber checked and everything ok with house plumbing. Fault with machine. Cant be repaired under warranty. Lucky for us we bought extra cover from jbhifi so at least they honoured their end. Its just a glorified tin can.
