0 out of 5 stars: You'll NEVER receive a photobook from them! – This company is in LIQUIDATION and still sending out advertising emails for products they have no intention of delivering. They give you 1 year to upload your photos knowing that paypal and your credit card company will only give you 6 months to claim a refund, meaning you'll never see your money again. The 123 cheese website doesn't even exist! Shocking! Abysmal! Terrible! Unaustralian! Rip off!

a way to salvage as much as you can of lost 123cheese p/books – If you still have the 123cheese application installed on your system you can at least copy and paste the text that you had in the original book into a new book with another provider. To do this you need to duplicate the original book in the 123cheese application and then copy and paste sections of text at a time into a third party word processor.… Read more

Once done you can then copy and paste text into the new book in the new providers software. This means you won't have to retype all the text over again. I lost three books with 123Cheese and have now redone them with another photo book provider online. Also if the images that you originally used are still in a unique folder on your computer then it is an easy task to load the thumbnails into the new application.

Thrilled – I've been purchasing 123cheese books for 2-3 years now and I've always loved the quality of their product and their superb customer service. They also keep adding new products and my favourite of the moment is the 100 page A4 book. I highly recommend these photobooks to all my friends and family when i show off my photobooks.

Happy customer – I was very happy with the printed result of the album I did of my mothers 90th Birthday Party. I had all the guests write a "comment card" with something special they remembered about their time spent with my mother. I took photos of all the guests and matched them up with the card so she could read it at her leasure and remember her friends and… Read more

relatives. She loves it and everyone who has viewed it is surprised at the briliant quality of the photos and paper. I am not that computer literate but found it reasonably easy to use with plenty of options of frames backgrouns etc. Delivery time was well within the time they allocated. I used a scoopon so it was very cheap. Not sure I could afford the full price. Would definately reccommend. Scoopon price was brilliant. Very good quality printing and paper.

Not looking good – I am also awaiting an Album that I ordered and can get no response from them. See the following web post which appears to indicate that 123cheese is no longer: http://print21.com.au/collapse-of-ddg-and-the-copy-captain/83511 Beware!

Dishonest, likely trading while insolvent – 123cheese has gone bust. https://insolvencynotices.asic.gov.au/browsesearch-notices?appointment=All&noticepurpose=All&noticestate=All&acn=141996607&deregistration=true Try and get your money back from PayPal/Credit Card companies. They were still taking money from customers till April, but have still not delivered books paid for in January 2015 and Possibly earlier.

Bad form – Lost my voucher code for my book. Contacted them and received a return email with the lost voucher number. Went straight online and spent a whole weekend making my book, only to never receive it. Why send me the number. Really angry about this.

Do Not Trust 123Cheese – Where is a zero rating when you want one? This company is rotten to the core, unscrupulous, unprincipled and I don't know how they've been allowed to get away with grand theft and scamming the public. Despite knowing (for sure) they were going into receivership, they continued to offer "great deals" for Australia Day, Queens birthday, Valentines… Read more

day etc... all the while knowing they were going to do a runner. I've been burnt by them and would caution everyone to steer clear. When I last checked a couple of months ago, they still had a site where you can upload orders, pay for your photo book, like its business as usual (continuing the fraud), but don't expect to see anything ever. Someone called them scum in another review. Too nice a word.

Garbage – You piece of garbage taking other peoples money and making them wait with no product. If you have any self worth post your phone new contact number so people can at least contact you and dispute your fraudulant activities.

123cheese directors pul scam – I have been fobbed off since early January with 2 my albums. One uploaded in January and the other sent a month later. Then I bought a third album in the Australia Day sales. Clearly this company knew its position and continued trading whilst insolvent. This is fraud and I will be chasing the directors as it is illegal to continue trading… Read more

whilst insolvent...which is precisely what they did.

I hear that this company has been reborn as a new business. Unless they honour their outstanding debts I will be spreading the word as well as going after the directors. YOU SHOULD DO LIKEWISE. Do not take it lying down as ASIC refuses to do what the public expects, so the job of bring crooks to account belongs to each and every one of us.

Will my existing order ever be published?! – I submitted a photo book on 30th March this year. After following up several times with no response I see they have gone into liquidation :( Does anyone know if existing orders will ever be published by the new company helpingout 123 cheese?!! Just want to know whether to start making a new one with a different company or hope that my original one will finally be delivered?!! (Wishful thinking perhaps)

Totally devastated!! – Have spent hours and hours over the last few months doing a special birthday book, only to find this news. Couldn't believe my eyes!! Then to top it off I've lost three other vouchers. Would have softened the blow a little if they had the decency to notify their regular customers by e mail. It would not have taken much effort!! Great disappointment. Prior to this I have always been very satisfied with them.

The truth would have helped – Like other users, I was given the run around for three months and now hear that 123 Cheese is in liquidation. If I had been told the truth, I could have at least made other plans for the book. I should have known if the price sounds too good it probably is!

Liquidation looks like all that work getting my holiday photos into a book is lost! – I ordered a 60 page Photobook early in February but it never turned up and I keep getting stories about delays with the cover. Now I find that 123 is not delivering what has been paid for because it's in liquidation. I have 2 more unused vouchers. For the last 4 or five years the product has always been such good quality and delivered on time, now I am guessing that my money is now lost. DO NOT use 123 for anything

Their slowness to deliver spoils their reputation – I've ordered from this company previously. Their product is good but they are so very SLOW in delivering their photobooks. Each time I've ordered there has always been a wait. But never more than 6 weeks. This is the first time I've waited for 3months and still waiting. It's a shame that they let themselves down with slow delivery. Their… Read more

product isn't bad (when it arrives).

I am wondering if they are only slow with orders with vouchers? If so, they shouldn't offer any deals!

123Cheese orders – For those of you who still don't know, 123Cheese went into liquidation on 7 April 2015. My order sent in 26 January 2015 never arrived. You can forget about getting your orders. They told me as late as 5 April 2015 it will be sent out by the end of the week, obviously lying as they were not getting anything out. Also all those other vouchers we all bought on their promotions are down the drain.

Still waiting for my photobook – I also did an upload of a photobook project late January and after an excuse of a backlog, I am getting no response. Looks like they may have gone under! Some much for the unused voucher I have.

order never delivered – I ordered a photobook in February but it never turned up and i keep getting stories about delays. The digital process is instant so how can they have delays. I am guessing that the only delay is 123 are ripping off their customers by not delivering what has been paid for. I am guessing that my money is now lost, 123 wont respond to my emails now and their login page wont load so you cant check on orders. DO NOT use 123 for anything

Still waiting for photobooks x2 – I ordered 2 books back in February 2015 and still haven't received. Tried calling and permanently engaged. No response via email. Bought voucher deals and tried using and cant seem to upload my photobook to their server now. Warning to others to buy deals in they don't seem to be able to cope

123 Cheese missing in action! – I'm also waiting on delivery on 2 photo books that I sent on 24 January 2015. My story is identical to others posted here. I have called and was given the same script and my emails go unanswered. I fear thay have folded and I'm worried that I will never see my books. Also concerned as I have other vouchers to use. Their total lack of communication is concerning.

Still waiting for A3 photobook – Ordered 27/12/14 and still not delivered. Managed to contact them about a month ago and was told they had a massive backlog of orders but mine should be ready in about 2 weeks. Poor customer service seems to be what they consider 'normal' – Placed a set of orders following one of their numerous 'special deals' back in February with an indicator of 2-3 week delivery. Despite numerous email contact they still have not delivered. The latest email contained following verbatim statement from them ' am sorry you are not happy with my reply, but i offered you a refund as i could tell you… Read more

were not happy and knew you wanted your books and we have a delay, i understand you want your product now, but so do all of our other customers who are waiting and some have been waiting before you, trust me i understand your annoyance, i hear from all of our customers every day and i am doing the best i can to get orders out as quickly as possible'.;. Not even the courtesy of a Name to their email.

2014 Was a bad year for 123 Cheese – I have previously been very happy with my photo books. Great quality and a fast service. However after purchasing more vouchers - at a great price I might add I waited approximately 5 months for my book to arrive - I only received notification that the covers were unavailable after multiple emails to inquire where my book was. The packaging was… Read more

poor - corners were damaged - perhaps too many cut price vouchers have been offered and they are now struggling to keep up with demand - who knows. I would think twice about ordering again. Another niggling problem was that most of the backgrounds were not suitable for the A3 book - choices were extremely limited.

Very disappoining experience – I received my 2015 calendar ant it didnt have months or dates. Of course i used the wizard, im not familiar with the software and presumed the wizard would guide… Read more

me through , step by step, to have the calendar made. With months. Thats the point of the wizard , well it is on any other website/software, thats why its called a wizard.

At no stage did the wizard indicate there wouldnt be months or days and it didnt prompt me to add months either.

I have been advised by 123 cheese that they receive the files from the wizard/software and assume thats how im wanting it to be and thats how they print them. Dont they realise that if you order a calendar, call it ricks 2015 calendar then you might actually be expecting a calender? . Obviously no checks or quality control exist.

Poor outfit, avoid them . I still cant get my head around when is a calendar not a calendar?!

EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED!!!!! – I purchased 5 discounted books. After a sequence of events I was given new extension codes to use for my books - I WAS NEVER ADVISED OF A NEW EXPIRY DATE. date (which could be very clearly seen in my email communications with the company). The best that could be offered was to get 40% off the books. So although I have already paid $80 for nothing (as I am getting no product in return) - I am now expected to pay another $80/book if I want to go ahead with the order. All that time and effort in putting my book together for nothing - as there is absolutely no way I will be paying any more money towards this after already DONATING my first $80 to this company. EXTREMELY UPSET, and I had planned on doing a whole series of books to compile all of my photos (and I had recommended my brother and mother in law to do the same), however we all obviously need to reconsider this after this experience.
