assistance. However, on this occasion their template for the 2027 calendar has a misprint on the last page. I have sent emails and tried phoning only to learn that they no longer have the option to call. So I went on to chat. After waiting one and a half hours, I gave up. Later, when I checked someone had come online - waited 5 minutes and because I didn't respond ended the chat. I just tried again and even though it says "Tom has joined the chat" no one is responding. Exactly the same as last time. I've now waited over 40 minutes and am not holding my breath that anyone will respond, let alone solve the issue, anytime soon. When a company shows such poor customer service, one needs to rethink whether ordering with them is worth it....

Firstly, the company uses Couriers Please, which has around a 90% negative rating. As a result, delivery took nearly a month. I don’t normally buy from companies that use Couriers Please, but I got caught out this time.

As for the frame, it arrived with scratches, and the paper insert was bent and crinkled. It’s clearly a thin, cheaper insert, and it’s noticeable.

Overall, I’ll be shopping elsewhere.

had, meaning this ongoing issue with Big W photos has been happening to me for a year now. Previously refunding the orders had been easy, and the last time the person I spoke to managed to get the order reprinted correctly for me. Not so this time. I called the number on the website and was told to go through the online contact page. I did that and got an email reply telling me to return the books instore, and they will call the number to confirm the return before the online people would issue a refund. Went to the store, and the lady there said the online number didn't answer on weekends. Thankfully, she sensed the ridiculousness of my run-around, and refunded immediately for me.

I had been a loyal customer for more than 10 years, placing multiple orders every year. I will NEVER use Big W photos again, nor recommend them.

very poor quality with the exposure reduced and contrast increased to the point that most of the detail (including faces) was lost. I contacted Customer Service and they said the issue was the result of their auto-enhance filter they apply to prints. I asked them to turn auto-enhance off. Apparently this is not possible. If you are happy with your images before they go to print, I recommend avoiding this service.

because it’s a birthday gift. For the amount of money I spent, and the level of detail that went into this project, I expected at the very least a keepsake box that actually protects it.

The book arrived in a ripped box. Not dented — ripped. I contacted customer service, sent photos, explained the issue, and they sent a replacement. The replacement box arrived today and it is the exact same size as the damaged one. It’s still too small for the book. I sent more photos, explained everything clearly, and asked for a manager.

Customer service acknowledged the photos… and then stopped responding. Completely. I sat there waiting, saying “Hello?” and asking again for a manager, and got nothing. This is supposed to be a birthday gift, and the experience has been the opposite of “happiness guaranteed.”

On top of that, you can’t even change the font size on the spine, which is ridiculous for a premium book. After all the time, effort, and money I put into this 12x12 layflat, the fact that the box doesn’t fit — twice — is unacceptable. If you’re going to charge premium prices, at least provide a box that actually protects the product.

After this experience, my next layflat will be done with Shutterfly.

I ordered a cushion with a little girls photo printed on it. I received a white cushion cover without the print and a white insert. No photo. It was for a 90th birthday present. So disappointed.

Recently though, I had a major problem and I have to say their service was above and beyond awesome! Having published 60 books with Blurb I recommend them as the first stop for anyone wanting to self publish in Australia (my country), but guess this probably applies in other countries also. any tracking infomation about your order or regarding where your order is in the process. Since there is no one to call you end up calling a store which has nothing to do with your order online as its a different inventory to in store printing. So the staff in the store needs to email or contact the online team to streamline your order, but you cannot physically get in contact with them yourself. I then cancelled my order online and I am still waiting for my full refund after 2 weeks and I re did the printing through the store that helped me but I could not get frames as that is ONLY an online offer.

Anyways I would not print from here, online is shit. The stores are helpful and the staff that helped me were amazing but felt bad that they needed to deal with something that wasn't their issue!

admitted the supplier they used was faulty. They then want ME to pay AGAIN for a new print and pay for shipping. Can’t believe a company can operate like this. Hanging glass on a wall is extremely dangerous, knowing the product was faulty and not recalling it shocks me! It missed my kids by 1m! It could have been an extremely different outcome.
