Had to call these guys this morning. Guy on the phone was great and very helpful. I had three young children and a sleeping shiftworker husband home that i didnt want to wake, so he arranged the technician to phone 10 minutes before arrival, so we could keep the noise at the park. Technician came really fast and the guy was so lovely, thorough, patient and got us sorted and on our way. Was a really pleasant experience overall :) Show reply

Forgot to get the man’s name, he was really quick getting here. I think I waited for just under 35 minutes for him to arrive. He was very quick to rectify the problem which was a dead battery. Unexpected experience – I had a puncture on a car I'd had only 2 weeks. I was able to talk to a helpful lady on the phone who organised help. She rang me a few times to check I was ok and let me know to wait and hour for help. A young woman arrived in a battery van and changed my tyre quickly and efficiently, I was very impressed! Very handy to have – Car engine warning light came on. I rang national road side assist and they organised a tilt tray to pick up car and deliver to dealership for repair. Staff were very helpful and explained what l had to do and what they would do. Show reply

Follow-up · To answer questions I’ve been requested to answer…. • the issue was a flat battery • the price of the new battery was comparable to other places • I don’t remember how long they took, but I do remember that it was a lot quicker than the eta I had been given.
I have a Disabled sticker, I was told at first it would be an hour and when I remembered to let them know I had a sticker, they were there before the hour. Very friendly young man. Show reply

Did not send anyone to diagnose the problem - just booked a tow truck. Then I had to pay for another one – I had the misfortune to have to call this service after five years of paying for it. auto electrician, I had to pay for it to be towed again, because they only pay for one tow. If they'd sent someone, or simply asked me to pop the hood and send a photo, this extra cost and delay could have been avoided. I don't need a call centre for a tow truck company - I need roadside assistance, and that's what I thought I was paying for - since the company is called 'National Roadside Assistance.'

Terrible Service – Request roadside assistance to change my flat tyre. I was told wait time is up to 2 hrs. Happy to wait as my car is at home and I have my mates car to do some errands. 2 hour later received a call from person attending the site that he will be there in some time. 4 hours of wait no one showed up. The person I spoke to on the phone was polite and professional and actioned my request immediately. I was told that roadside assistance would be arriving in 60-90 minutes, and they arrived in 10, identified the issue immediately, fixed it with no hesitation and left me with a fully functional care again.
