I would like to call out that the extra-support provided by SAEID MAZAHERI to replace my existing TV is very commendable. My Samsung TV which I bought from this store stopped working within the warranty period, so I was eligible for a new one within the equivalent price range. Since technology have changed a bit within the last 2 years, so I wanted a LG instead. Saeid mentioned that that model is not available, but then he offered to get it from their dealer, in spite of the fact that they don't stock it. I was very happy and was finally able t...o get it delivered. There was a few weeks delay though due to dealer dependencies, but it was escalated by Saeid to expedite the delivery. Happy to engage with this store once again. Keep up the good work!

Still awaiting refund of $1195 . Was promised to get by 15/04/19. Neither responding to emails nor phone calls to their Cremorne shop. They are losing their loyal customers . What sort of business model they are running.

I purchased a camera through seconds world. It was due to be delivered over a week ago. All they say is its been dispatched. It is will Australia post. I am going on a holiday so have a time line. Wont replace it until Australia post finds it. They have now had my money for 2 weeks and will be another 2-3 weeks before they will refund my money. Australia post is there courier and some how its the customers fault as to why l cant get another dispatched or my money back now.

They openly lie to staff and rip them off for entitlement by registering seperate business names for each store and hide behind this they retrenced all Melbourne staff and claimed small business status getting out of paying retrencment

I recently bought a Samsung bubble wash 8.5kg washing machine from 2nds world Auburn.
They had quite a large range of display models and the sales executive onsite was able to answer all questions we had regarding the product. I am happy to say we have been using the washerfor two months now with no issues.
Messed Up Delivery
Twice in 2 years time Seconds world messed up and delayed fridge delivery, First year we ordered same day delivery and they charged extra for that, then they did not turn up and applied store credit which was never wanted. And delivered the next day. Secondly they delayed deliveries again and messaged the delivery would come at 11:pm at night. Upon calling customer service she hung up on us because she could not respond proffessionaly
More trouble than it is worth
I ordered a 24 inch TV on a Friday. The following day, a promotion begins, offering $50 off purchases over $300. Beaudy, I thought. I'll cancel that first order, and pick a bigger TV. Plus pick up and removal of my old enormous Plasma. So, that done (they took my money really easily), I waited patiently and took time off work to accept my new TV, all the while without a functional one.
Day comes, I get a call half an hour before my allocated delivery window begins, to say that, oh, the TV isn't on the truck! Damn, must be the warehouse fault, ...
Worst service I have ever experienced since online shopping
I ordered a PVR TV recorder online advertised brand new item in stock I received an email stating short delay, then in a couple days another email the delay would be 10-15 days which is false adv in my book.
I ordered on a Thursday on the Monday to my surprise the PVR recorder arrived, to my horror the unit was loose in the box with the remote no packaging no instruction book at all and a note inside from a previous customer who had received this same unit and stating how unhappy he was with what he received.

Waste of time, lost money
Bought a ex demo fridge, $1500. I didn’t care about the dints. But the handles kept coming off when opening the fridge I have to open Both doors the clip on top what broken or missing. No ice tray could even make ice. Wasn’t keeping cool fridge started to make loud noises.
I will never be buys dining thing like that again I paid good money wasn’t cheap also I lost money in the change over when they came to pick it up. A lot of cold stuff had to be chucked.
Also don’t give in to taking old fridge they wanted to charge me $80 so I said no.... Then they said how bout $50 I said [name removed] I will just keep it. I then sold a 12 year old fridge still working for $80 online. So don’t give it to them. I was contacted by the online team and advised they will refund the cost of the fridge. Just it was such a drag especially a product you can’t live without. Next time will always buy brand new when it come to fridges

Terrible customer service!
As someone has to be physically present at home to accept the order, I had to arrange a day working from home to accept the delivery. When it didn't arrive, I had to check and found that they have wrongly entered my address so it had to be returned back to them (had my name, and suburb, but not street name or street number).
I checked on my account to 1st make sure it was not my fault (I had all my details on it, no issues there).
So I wrote to them saying that as they have inconvenient me for their error, I would like this to be rectifi...ed and resent to me quicker using the "same day delivery" option instead. I got a call back from them. Rather than accept that it was their error that got them into the situation in the first place and honour my request, the customer service rep went on to explain how it was not the form of delivery that I choose when I made the purchase. If my menory serves me well, I didn't remember choosing the option for "wrong delivery address so had to be redelivered" either. He continued, due to this, I have to wait another 3 to 5 days for it to be redelivered again. So all up, because of their mistake, I have to wait almost 10 days in total from purchase date.
Get the salesman to discuss product not just take the $$
Visited shop salesman didn't inform me anything of product or the installation of product at all, BUT quick to take my money. Product delivered today 2nds World you are the worst for sales, information and installation. Next time a visit to a reputable whitewave shop not 2nds World. So pleased I didn't purchase the microwave I looked at!
They advertise the TV as being in stock but cannot honour the sale!
This is simply false and misleading adverting when you finalise and pay for the order that is advertised as being in stock only to be emailed 24 hours later to saying that they do not have in stock and further cannot honour the sale if I was to wait longer. You would think that such a retailer would have made contact via phone and offered some alternatives. No customer service.

I bought a TV from 2nds World Auburn. In invoice it says 1 year + 2 years bonus warranty. When I call the TV manufacturer company they said 1 year warranty form manufacturer but next 2 years from retailers . Came to know 2nds world do not exist . Can any one suggest me where I can take this issue ? I still have one year warranty? and my TV is not working at all.

I purchased a Samsung 470L top mount fridge in September 2017. It was sold to me as a factory second on the basis of minor dints on the side. This is reflected on the code on the receipt. A couple if months ago it started freezing food and linwood in the fridge, even in the lowest setting. I called Samsung servicing who asked me for the serial number. I checked the crushed and found that it had been scratched off. In two places. Samsung told me it was a refurbished model and without the serial number they could not validate the warranty. At no time did 2nds world tell me I was buying a refurbished fridge without a warranty. Obviously I would not have gone ahead with the sale. Samsung could not assist me and referred me to Sydney Appliance Centre who have quoted me between $500 and $600 for repair. I am not going to pay this for a fridge that I am not confident will ever be in good working condition given yhsf it was sold to me as faulty. So 2nds world I have no other option than purchasing a new fridge barely two years after purchasing one that I expected would last me a good few years. I am angry that I was misled and ripped off. And it seems there is no recourse. The 2nds world website does not even have any links on it. I cannot find a customer service number anywhere. So 2nds world, what are you going to do to help me?
