365 Roadside Assistance

be wary of outlaying any money on repairs for this mob , near impossible to get a phone call let alone a payment for any thing you do for them
I somehow managed to lock my keys in the car…..365 were out to me in 40 minutes and were able to open the car for me. Great service
spam calling me when i don't even own a car and when i asked them to stop she kept demanding my rego. ah yes the imaginary rego number for the car i don't own and the licence i don't have. stupid freaking wench
Unprofessional and unqualified sub contractor, never wants to help but just rips off people.
NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!! I WAS ROBBED AND STILL HAVEN’T BEEN COMPENSATED 4 MONTHS LATER Don’t make the same mistake as me, unless you’re prepared to lose up to thousands of dollars and months of time. Avoid using roadside at all costs, even if it’s with your free Volkswagen Care Roadside Assistance. On the 5th of January 2025 a Sunday… Read more
afternoon, the transmission barrel in my Amarok reached its ends and I was stuck broken down at an IGA in Coomera, an hour away from my home in Brisbane. I made the decision to use 365 Roadside, through my free VW roadside assistance I had acquired from a recent service, instead of signing up to RACQ to get towed home. A decision that at the time I thought would save a few hundred dollars, ended up being a decision that has left me nearly $2000 worse off.
365 Roadside’s customer service in delivering a tow truck was quick, organised and easy and they contacted me multiple times within the hour or so of organising the tow. Before i knew it my Ute was up on the truck ready to go to Brisbane, until I was told by the driver it had to be stored overnight in the tow truck companies holding bay in Yalta, before it could be dropped at my mechanic in Brisbane the following morning as it was a Sunday afternoon. Despite not loving the idea, I didn’t question it as everything prior had been a smooth process. I proceeded to grab the things I would need for the night from the 3 days worth of bags, clothing and other items I had packed for the weekend away from home and watched the driver leave with my Ute.
Little did I know, Roadside had done little to zero research about the company they had been sub-contracting to for plenty of time, and instead allowed the person in charge of their contracting department to sub-contract to ‘Gold Coast Tow Truck Light & Heavy’ based on the, and I quote, “close relationship” he has with the owner of the tow company.
A 2 second google review search on ‘Gold Coast Tow Truck Light & Heavy’ shows the absolutely atrocious reviews their page is riddled with, exposing some of the disgusting actions and customer service they live by and still get away with doing to this day.
All of this was only brought to light when I went to retrieve my belongings on the Tuesday afternoon (7/1/25) from my mechanics, when i opened the back door to reveal the majority of the belongings I had packed had all been stolen by the tow truck driver. After going through my car and noting every item that had been stolen, I was robbed of nearly $2000 of belongings, many of which I’ve since had to repurchase, some brand new at the time including $250 running shoes, $280 rugby boots and multiple pieces of clothing in the $100s which has left me even more out of pocket.
From that Tuesday until today (4 months exactly), I have called Roadside 27 times in an attempt to receive my stolen items back or be compensated for them. Bear in mind, they had zero issues contacting me multiple times within the hours of sorting the tow truck.
It took me nearly 2 days just to be informed of the name of the tow truck company they had sent out as they refused to give out the information, leaving me stranded to investigate and interrogate the tow company myself to try and get any answers or indications as to what had happened.
After about a week, i was FINALLY transferred through to the woman in the 365 Roadside head office who was now overseeing the case and was told by her that she wouldn’t stop until she had solved my issues and the case was closed. I was assisted well by her to begin with, successfully locating and returning my power drill and batteries, as well as being helpful to begin with in getting answers and CCTV proof out of the tow company. HOWEVER, I haven’t been transferred through or called back by her since the 10th of February despite being told more times than I can count that an ‘Urgent Notice’ has been sent through to her office to return my calls, as well as me requesting multiple times within the emails I’ve sent directly to her, within replies to her requests to help ‘sort’ the case.
I sit here writing this review baffled as to how out of the 3 parties involved in this case (365 Roadside, ‘Gold Coast Tow Trucks Light & Heavy’ and myself), with both these large companies and the insurances they have for these exact occasions, 4 MONTHS LATER I’m the only one out of pocket nearly $2000!?!?
I have been nothing but patient, helpful and understanding throughout this whole process just for it to be thrown in my face with this shocking treatment.
365 Roadside, DO BETTER.
am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Toyota Road Assistance. Three hours ago, I called them for help and was initially told that someone would arrive within 90 minutes. However, after the allotted time passed, no one showed up. When I called them again, I was told that the estimated arrival time was now 45 minutes, after 45… Read more
minutes passed then I again called they said driver will call me Shortly after, the driver contacted me and stated that he would arrive in another 45 minutes, he said that he had just received the assignment.
Unfortunately, this delay has resulted in $200 worth of meat products spoiling in my vehicle. Had Toyota Road Assistance provided me with a more accurate estimate initially, I would have arranged alternative transportation, such as an Uber, to get to work on time.
I find Toyota Road Assistance to be unprofessional and disorganized. Based on this experience, I would recommend exploring alternative roadside assistance providers.
Toyota roadside assistance app – I was told to ring the office during business hours, because my app isn't working. I rang the office twice to be told I have to send an email. What is the point of having a help line that doesn't help you. You just get the run around. I won't be renewing next year.
Poor Customer Service – This company provides very poor customer service. I have been trying for weeks to obtain a copy of our tax invoice for our renewal and no one answers our emails or online contact attempts. They sent us an email which says Tax Receipt, but when you look at the email there is no amount mentioned that was paid, nor any attachments. We need this important information to claim as a tax expense.
Disgusting Service – Since 11 am I’ve rang now 730. I’m still waiting for 48 hours for a rental car to be organised. I have a four children no food and no car and no call Back.
No value for money – We have a roadside assist package with Audi which is provided by roadside 365. Don't waste your money on this mob just be a member of the RACV etc
Unprofessional service, incorrect pars and no follow through to resolve – Like others, I received sub-standard Audi roadside assistance with the installation of an incorrect battery in my Q2 (roadside tech did not know what he was doing but his instructor on the phone insisted it was the right battery). The car was then faulty as a result of the incorrect battery and they told me to take it to my auto electrician to get… Read more
it fixed. I did, and they confirmed the wrong battery was installed. How could that even happen for an Audi branded service. After 5 months of trying to get resolution, I give up. Audi's lack of support has me questioning if I would buy another car from them. My advice is to check who the service provider is for whatever car branded roadside assistance you have, and not to go with 365 Roadside Assistance.
Toyota roadside unreliable – Toyota roadside contract their work to Victorian battery company. They takes down bad reviews. I have posted a review of their services a couple of months ago, but it is non-existent now. I am reposting here, because I was very frustrated with their service to warn off other customers from being subject to the treatment that befell myself. I had… Read more
to use them when my car fail to start, because my roadside assistance, Toyota roadside, contract their work to them. It was a middle of night and I wanted someone to jumpstart my car. They did not attempt to jumpstart my car. It was serviced only a fortnight ago. All they wanted to do was sell me their battery. My options were stay stuck in the middle of road or buy their battery. Their operator, Doug from Frankston, told me that I dragged him out of his cosy home middle of night. He wanted me to pay 400 dollars for a car battery, without trying to jump start a car. Since that incident, it is good riddance Toyota roadside and Victorian battery company.
Terrible – They are really terrible. Instead of having a mechanic to attend to your basic needs. They have outsourced all their jobs. I needed a jump start. They sent out victoria battery company. Doug, frankston technician, just want to replace my battery at 500 dollars. No attempt of jump start. He was also rude and aggressive in customer service. I left the minute my policy is up.

Woeful, very disappointed – Silly me! I went with Toyota Roadside Assist as I just purch ased a brand new sports car, I had assumed (silly me) that they would be knowledgeable with Toyota if I needed help. Oh dear, it would seem they contract out work to anyone! This person arrived for a flat battery, I rang at 7.45am, person arrived at 11.00am, and I was charged $60 call out fee. I'm absolutely astonished that this is acceptable. Show details
Feels like a scam – I wanted to buy the $99 roadside assistance for 1 year for my new Toyota. As it is impossible to sign up for this online (only possible to renew) you are forced to go through a 30min+ sales pitch by phone where they push you to sign up for longer and higher cost products. At the end I asked for the $99 option but they said that a $269 option I… Read more
considered during the call was already locked in and can't be changed. They said that the only way was to cancel and to restart a week later on the $99 option. It took me 3 weeks of follow ups and reminders to get the cancellation confirmed and money returned. Needless to say that I did not sign up for anything after that. The experience was so bad that I am considering to move away from Toyota as a car brand. I would highly recommend to stay away from this organization.
Useless – My car couldn’t start despite new batteries replaced from Peter Kittle. Talked to these people in road assistance. First Australian guy was bit rude on the ph , they sent someone who jump started the car but car didn’t work the next day. The 2nd guy on the phone was Filipino who had poor listening skills and failed to listen to my side of the… Read more
story . Also the one who said a technician is coming had long pauses for some weird reason. Don’t waste money on this stupid company. Useless.
What a waste of time – I rang Toyota roadside assist as the top inter cooler hose came off. I was towing my caravan going up the blue mountains and was not in a safe spot. I advised that it is a dangerous spot but they could not care less. They said that their patrols are not qualified to fit the hose back on with clamp. Thy said they would get it towed. a nice Highway patrol that escorted us to a safe place where I unhitched the van and drove home slowly where I fixed my car in 10 minutes.
What a joke.
I will not recommend Toyota Road side to anyone. Ever.
Service is not their agenda – I only got this membership as part of a car purchase from Toyota. Had to use it for the first time today. Rang once and waited 17minutes listening to Muzak waiting for someone to answer before I hung up and tried again. After 10 minutes of the same I gave up. 10:30 on a Friday. If they can’t staff to meet that timeframe they don’t provide any service at all
Dreadful - I feel that I have been scammed - be aware – I was phoned to renew my cover and I informed the sales person that I was selling my car, however, I have bought a new Toyota that I want to cover. I was reassured that I should renew and then transfer the cover to my new car. When I followed the advice and phoned to transfer the cover, I was told that this was not possible! I have lost $99. I have complained but have not heard anything. It feels like a scam.
Renewal of Membership – Total no service. Found out today my membership has expired and they said no email or SMS or invoice would have been provided. It would have been a phone call.
Excellent Customer Service – I have been using 365 roadside assistance for the last 3 years. I found that customer service from Steven was top class. He was very helpful in resolving some of the issues I had with my renewal. Overall the company provides efficient service whenever I had breakdowns.
Great customer service – I broke down last week and the team at 365 were very helpful. The operator kept me informed at all times and the mechanic had me back on the road very quickly. Would use them again

delay at airport parking of 2 hours – we came from overseas- battery issues. We must have rang them up number of times and then finally after 2 hours done . I feel this is unacceptable here in brisbane
Unprofessional and poor customer service – My membership lapsed because the company was bought out and they didn’t bother to notify me. I received no apology by the rude and blunt man on the phone. Very unprofessional. I will be renewing with another company.
Half a star – Yeah not the best company for road side assist. Cheap and nasty and you'll be waiting hours for any help. Please stop direct debiting money from my bank account. I have emailed many times about this.
Service non-existent what a rip off – Would have to be the biggest rip off and waste of time I've ever encountered. Absolutely disgraceful lazy incompetent staff with no follow up and appalling lack of service. Had to wait over 3 hours to get a jump start on the Gold Coast one of the largest cities in this country on a bright sunny day. After numerous phone calls and complaints and… Read more
continued failure to return calls finally a third party provider turned up and struggled to work out how to jumpstart the car.
The worst service I've ever experienced and it only continue to get worse after that imagine having to wait 3 hours or more for a simple jump start.
Then the third party company then contacted me and trying to bullying me into paying for a new battery which was not even supplied. They might say may have photos to prove it and when I asked for them because it was impossible as I had not purchased or received the battery they then declined to send anything and then not even missing their mistake they just said sorry and hung up.
Don't waste your money on this appalling rip off service by RACV 365 roadside assistance there's nothing more than a wrought.
2 Hour Wait For A Tow Truck!!! – Called 365 Roadside at 6:30 am and it's now 9 am. Over 2 hour wait for a tow truck to pick up my car from Docklands. Seriously??? Best part is, I paid extra to sign up for the "Premium" plan. You definitely don't get what you pay for with these guys.
Absolutely amazing experience – This is the 2nd time I've used 365 and my experience has been amazing both times. Had to call for my mum's car this evening because we were broken down on a country road - got straight through to an assistant (Ryan). He was super polite and helpful and had organised us a tow tuck within 10 minutes. Called me back and told me. Tow truck arrived… Read more
from 20km away within 20 minutes. Ryan called back in half an hour just to make sure everything was OK.
This is the same experience I had when I had an issue with my own car a few months ago (also on a country road). Best roadside assistance I've ever had and I'd highly recommend them! Another huge thanks to Ryan who did an amazing job.
Excellent Service – Was stuck in the rain with car not starting. Made a call and 365 turned up in 15 minutes. Had me up and running, with a new battery, within 10 minutes after arrival and I still made my 2pm appointment. Well done much appreciated!! Show details
A disgrace ... keep away from them – A disgrace ... a 3rd party cowboy setup and 5.30 pm mid week considered after hours so need to wait up to 30 min to answer your call. Employee [name removed] advised only 1 person Australia wide to answer your call... DISGRACE!!!! I hope you go under!!! Show details
I pay for a mechanical service because I'm not a mechanic – Similar to the review below, after waiting hours in the rain, I was forced to CHOOSE between the call sender sending a mechanic, or sending a tow truck. Obviously not being a car person, I was not in a position to make an informed choice on this. I chose mechanic, hoping the battery just needed a start (it didn't). They sent a guy in a tow truck… Read more
who was NOT a mechanic, but presumably the only person on call available. The tow driver brought with him a battery jump pack, when this failed to start the car, he advised (without any further investigation) that he would tow the car. I called 365 back to discuss, and they informed me I would need to pay private costs for the tow, as I had selected the mechanic option (despite NOT sending me a qualified mechanic, rather a guy in a tow truck with a spare battery pack - I could've hailed a stranger in the car park for this same service). Cancelled my policy the next day and they made me jump through all sorts of hoops. Stick with the big names that you know, definitely not worth the few dollars you think (wrongly) you might save!!!
False claims, lock in contract and refusing to cancel my membership – I was given a choice to tow or repair the vehicle. The catch being if the vehicle was not repairable I would be liable for additional towing costs. They refuse to cancel my monthly direct debit but have no qualms about canceling my membership while continuing to take my money. It took 4 business days for them to respond despite claiming… Read more

Shonky Collaboration with EasiCar - Car Hire for Uber Drivers – 365 Roadside Assistance have rebranded to collaborate with EasiCar, a car hire company for Uber drivers. I am an Uber driver, but I did not hire a car from Easicar. The rebranded product is called EasiAssist (see my review for Easicar, too). I purchased this product online but felt it wasn't right for me after reading negative reviews online, and… Read more
because EasiCar set up automatic payments in my PayPal without permission. When I tried to call BOTH companies for customer service, BOTH companies referred me to the other. And then neither responded to emails or returned calls. This did not help inspire more confidence in them - what would it be like if I was stranded somewhere in the middle of the night, as another of their customers had been? Shonky, these two. In this together, they are, to take your money and run. Use NRMA instead!
