I placed a click-and-collect order for 4 items online, collecting at Ballarat Store, all showing as in stock at the time. away, I made the trip to Ballarat specifically to pick them up.

When I arrived, I was told that one item was actually out of stock, and another had been damaged by a forklift. I was asked to wait until both items were available again before coming back — meaning my trip was completely wasted.

After waiting a few weeks with no updates, I called them. They told me one item was now available and the other could be sourced from Bendigo, and that it had been allocated to me. Before making another long drive (this time to Bendigo), I called again just to confirm — only to be told that item had already been sold out as well.

At that point, I contacted the Ballarat store again, and the only solution offered was a refund.

Overall, this was a frustrating and time-wasting experience — inaccurate stock information, poor communication, and no regard for customers who have to travel long distances. Really disappointing.

"thinned" patches have appeared in the canopy after only seven days of use. I should imagine after a while the whole thing would be completely useless.

Safety Concerns: We were forced to cut our trip short and pack up early because the frame was no longer structurally sound.

4WD Supacentre has: Ignored my legal rights: They refused a refund and tried to force a replacement on me.

They refused to refund my original shipping, yet offered to pay for a courier to collect the broken unit and ship a new one, a cost that far exceeds the refund I asked for. This approach is financially reckless, environmentally wasteful, and logistically absurd. It serves no purpose other than to obstruct and stonewall a loyal customer’s legal right to a refund for a major product failure.

I told them I did not accept that. And so they closed my claim without my consent, and then sent a notification that my replacement is ready for collection in Dandenong, VIC!! ...... I live in Tasmania!

I have now lodged a dispute with my bank and a formal complaint with CBOS Tasmania. Save yourself the stress—shop elsewhere.

bunnings and find the screws and they’ll reimburse me. I went to bunnings the following day with no luck. Called back and asked for the screws to please just be shipped to me so I can use the drawers. They said they cannot ship just the screws out and to try another hardware store. Absolute joke paying for a product and having to go through this with no help whatsoever. Customer service is terrible.

still have not recieved a refund or pickup of the old drawers. Calls go through to an [Content Removed] call centre and they truly dont give a thing about you, just reading a script. Was finally offered $50 store credit to buy more their junk instead of a full refund. Was charged $635 for the two and they mask a lot of their margin through freight which they refuse to refund, meaning that if you request a refund they will only refund the invoice amount which was $435. Credit received timely – Ordered Kings twin drawer system in a bundle for my Ute and the next day the bundle price was $40 less. I rang up customer service and without hesitation they advised that they would credit in full and I would then need to purchase at the lower price which I did. I purchased a stretcher bed and swag combo (rated to 200kgs). Both products sat unboxed and unused for 3 years due to covid and health issues. I went to finally use the stretcher and it completely collapsed and failed the very first time I used it. Despite many attempts at a reconciliation the company refused to uphold their obligations under Australian Consumer Law. Do NOT purchase from this company.

When we called to ask where it was, Jefferson from the call centre, who gave very poor service, told us they had put the wrong address on the item and they would email us after a month if we hadn't queried the item. He said while they say the delivery will be ANOTHER 8 days, it should leave with the courier in 2-3 days. NOT GOOD ENOUGH 4WD SUPERSTORE.

once bitten twice shy - as the saying goes. We purchased a 75L Stayzcool Fidge 2024- thermostat failed while we were away holidaying- could not keep a consistent temp in either compartment. Returned home and lodged an online claim on the 4 month old unit. After all the videos and docs required a replacement unit was shipped to us. This took weeks.… Read more

The new unit started to play up again - would not stay at the set temperature for each compartment. Back onto the claims department, the usual videos and docs to prove our point - very difficult this time as we did not have a purchase receipt for the replaced unit. This was not enough so we drove the 100km to our nearest 4WD Superstore and delivered the unit so it could be tested by staff. Staff were told that the issue is after 36 -48hrs the temperature does not stay on the set amount. Set temp in big compartment is 2 degrees -rises to 17. Set temp in small compartment 10 degrees and falls to -18 -obviously freezing everything. Compressor does not turn off. All this was also in the online warranty docs sent - Email received that same day as delivery to store to say the warranty claim was denied. Must have done alot of 36 - 48hrs testing on it!! Delay from us in picking up the unit from 4wd Superstore. We do a special trip to drive back to the store and were told that the unit when plugged in, started, got to temperature and ran well, they unplugged it so it could all be redone to show us that the unit did start and get to temp. This was done several times - nothing wrong with our Stayzcool. That was never the issue, but we are only the customer, what would we know. Return home, plugged the empty unit into 240v power that night - temps 2 and 10 as set holding the next morning (12hrs). Next night (36hrs)- guess what temps back to 17 and -18 respectfully and compressor going flat out. Still the same 72 hrs latter. Not even going to bother going further with it. Not happy and also not a returning customer. These unsatisfied customers will spend their hard earned savings somewhere else. Greatest pleasure from the Stayzcool will be throwing it out - Don't waste your money on them - better options elsewhere

Absolutely Pathetic. They are uncontactable when something goes wrong. Their head office is uncontactable and they do not reply to contact messages through their Ebay shop. The 1300 number is answered by a call center who refuse to give out email addresses or phone numbers for branches, and cant chase up missing orders. They have sent my fridge on… Read more

a courier who doesn't even come to north QLD and it is now on its way around Australia in the opposite direction. And but wait there's more. The store will not refund me until they get the fridge back from wherever it ends up. So that's $440 out of my pocket. OR: A company manager can ring [Name Removed] in the Townsville branch, and tell him to put a 60L Drawer fridge in the boot of his car and drive the 60Kms to me, and deliver it without the bad attitude, and in as new condition. This Is what would have been done last decade, but now with all these foreign companies coming to Australia and doing whatever they like outside of the law, it appears to be anything goes for this mob.

Utterly unscrupulous, deceptive and misleading. Timed scare tactics forcing you to FOMO to get what appears to be a big discount, only to see the price drop another 25% the next day. even been physically been processed. They will fight you every step of the way. Working there must be the most soul-crushing experience. As soon as they get your money, you are dead to them - they just don't care. Customer service even openly said it was marketing team that was behind the deceptive conduct of the timed pricing and price drops. Their refund process even forces you to pay to get a refund (like it was 1973). Worst part is Kings products are not even mid-level quality. They gatekeep reviews so that only 5 and 4-star reviews are displayed.

Marketing team will likely respond to this review and pretend they will follow up/action it/ensure better experience/service/products, but deep down they're just spewing word salad and will do absolutely nothing.

Massive buyer beware. Window shop here. Buy elsewhere like kickass products, etc.

This disgraceful excuse for a retailer is more trouble than they are worth.

P.S. Be sure to read the reviews sorted by most recent too - you will shocked to see how bad their reputation really is.

So I filled in the form and returned 2 days later they email me asking could I video the unit not working correctly. Surely they know it’s illegal to use your phone in the car while driving. Has a bundle advertised good price. Special had a count down timer, I bought it. Very Next day same bundle is now is now advertised cheaper. Very Misleading. Got a Welcome gift of $10 voucher. Didn't work... In fine print for orders over $100.. Gave feedback via email with the above & got a phone call back. Received the Welcome gift voucher explanation, Fine print always gets ya!.. But the customer service person started to argue about the Click and Collect situation. I don't have time to waste, Said good bye and hung up. Take the feedback and fix it.
