took longer than anticipated but it was beyond everyone’s control. We can’t thank enough Mandeep, Aman, Ritu and Shruti for their cooperation and assistance - excellent service with politeness. Aman our supervisor put his heart in to finish building our house and stood with us right at the end. Biggest regret of my life – I signed a contract with them in December 2020. My land titled July 2022. They asked me for $100k extra when the land titled. I said no but agreed to a portion. After I resigned the contract and loan approved. They dropped off the face of the earth and ignored every email I sent and almost every phone call, I spoke to them once in 7 months and… Read more

then they finally dug the site out and contacted me. At this point every single other block on the street that all titled on the very same day as mine were well and truly on their way to being built and 5AB were claiming it took them that whole time to get permits. 5AB then told me they weren’t building until I got retaining walls (another $20k) and didn’t give any advice to help with permits or give any advice on who to go through. They are the worst company I’ve ever dealt with and have caused me nothing but stress and tears. Built a house a few years ago with Dennis family homes who were nothing but amazing and my biggest regret is choosing 5AB. Build hasn’t even started but I hope the quality of the build is better than the quality of their customer service.

Last year we signed a contract with this company and increased the prices by over 40% more to what is usual in the market. They gave us the option o either build at a new price or get our deposit back more than $11,000 We asked for a refund, but they didn't transfer the money. They agreed, but then never got around to it.They stopped responding to our calls and emails, and the only thing their administration would say was that they wouldn't refund any money. It's not only us there are more that are waiting for their refund and lost hope. They started abusive and threatening, asking us to go away as they would not be giving us any refunds. I wanted to warn everyone about this scam and the awful customer service and support. Their sales people will trick you into their deals. Their service is crap. They have no sense of professional accountability. I urge anyone looking to build with this company to carefully consider it 100 times before doing so.

delivered the house in about 6 months. I cannot really summarise the whole experience but overall I don’t hesitate even slightly in giving them 5 starts. A few people I feel obliged to mention: Lucky – Sales: He had been our trusted advisor throughout the process of design, build and handover. Dean – Construction Manager: a very competent, well experienced and smart construction professional. He’d been able to quickly identify the root cause and easiest solution to any problem. Gurpeet – Site Supervisor: hard working, committed and down to earth person. He always had a fine balance between his organisation’s as well as customer’s interest, never over promised but delivered what he promised. Navleen, Sharuti – Support: I can only thank them for their patience. Always picked up my phone, listened to what I had to say, answered my questions, found the required support. They still do as we still have warranty/support period active. Mandeep – Customer Relations: Was amazing in resolving any issues, he’s a problem solver. Trades Crew: I used to visit site every now and then and had a chance to chat with most of the crew on-site. I must say all the crew were professionals and knew their job. They hire the best in the market.

Some key points worth mentioning: Design phase: as we were building a custom house, it was in our minds and we hadn’t seen it anywhere. During the design phase, there were times when Lucky insisted on adding something regardless of the cost or contested not to add something, his reasons were mostly around practicality or value for money. Now having moved in the house, we are totally happy where we listened to and agreed with him, hence why I called him Trusted Advisor. Construction and Inspection phase: we were fully involved in identifying and resolving all the issues. Gurpeet always listened to our concerns and referred to the plans and the contract. We also hired a private inspector and did not find any major problems. Post Delivery and support phase: the next day moving in the house, we called 5abHomes to report an issue with our kitchen tap, I was surprised that Dean arrived within half an hour of my call, not to mention how quick he was in fixing the issue.

In summary, its been the best value for money building with 5abhomes. Whoever visits our home including guests and trades persons appreciates the build quality and take 5ab’s contact from us. Thank you everyone at 5abHomes, keep up the great work.

My journey till end was a little bit bumpy due to lack of communication and coordination among the departments but  thanks to the whole team including Shruti, Joe and supervisor Ismail for bringing my dream into reality. It needs a special mention here that The Construction Team followed the observations made by the Private Inspector hired by me to inspect the Quality Of The Construction, which to my knowledge other builders ignore as it involves time and cost to make amendments. bother about health and safety , fortunately Plumber was genuine and assesses that pipe was broken so they replaced it . Now kitchen tap is running like shower which we get in upgrade they need almost a week to get this assessed from plumber then replaced from supplier. Moreover they put hot water unit which is wrong and working on higher temperature, their plumber said not to use hot water by kids without supervision but they don’t bother about anything, they will fix it when they want it and they hang up the call by saying they dont have time .When you call their so called manager Mandeep , he never picked call and Staff in support team are very good in explaining the process but can’t help you with anything. Better to buy an used property than build a new home from 5ab homes . Worst service from the day one and still giving same .If you really wanna make house from them spare good time and patience they do test at every step . Be careful with this company – At the time of quote they offered many promotions. My land was settled before quote but they delayed with many excuses. 3 months later, stoped replying calls & mesaages. All displays closed except 1 which I finally found after 2 weeks. I was advised oh u r in my list to call, the price have gone up so u can either accept that or cancel the deal… Read more

when actually there is no condition to increase the price and i was advised price is locked for 12 months. Also found that my quote in their system was already increased once before without my knowledge and this was the second increase, all within 3months total. They expect me to pay 45k more for single story house compared to their own quote which is only 3 months old. Or take deposit back but it will take 4-6 weeks for refund. Please be careful, I said No to all other builder after signing up with them so now it will cost me further.
