AH Beard got in contact with us and told us the only thing they could do was pick up the mattress and keep it for a few weeks, and then return it back to us - and flat out refused to do an exchange. I do not understand how that is a solution, as the mattress is completely unusable and possible unsafe to use, as I don’t know what the chemical smell is. I am horrified at this situation, as we paid a lot of money for this mattress and are now stuck with it as it stinks out our home. Absolutely appalling customer treatment.
Forget it 10 year warranty not worth it - Abided by all the rules ,waterproof completed sealed zipped up allergy protector ,rotating every month wearing it out evenly and having it on a suitable motorized base that was recommended. area for collection and delivery return but AH beard want me to pay for the mattress to be washed and sanitized that will cost a min of $1200 and then delivery to and from and they do not have any loaner mattresses to suit the base and not proof that they sanitize the loan mattresses as highly allergic . Don’t waste ur money on them it’s the one time I purchased something other than Select-optic located in Brisbane they know what customer service is !not to mention the person who keeps calling was super rude when I returned the call as I was working “you have to wait ,I’m busy now!” Explained I was working and can’t have my phone on just the whole experience was absolutely crap !!

My review has disappeared from your site so I am writing again. Our bed cost $6,000 and after two years the mattress sunk where I slept and my husband sleeps. AH Beard will only pickup and repair as you can see from my pics this is not fixable. Also reviews say their repair does not work. AH Beard has no customer service all I want is my money back and someone who English is not good so I assume a call centre advised no way no money no new bed. Show details

the shape of an egg almost immediately. The sides were bulging out. It was inspected on site. The complaint identified and clearly documented. It was taken back to AH Beard. It was returned weeks later with what appeared to be some work done to the quilting but the issue with the main bulging sides remaining as it was. It was a complete waste of time and much inconvenience. It is obvious the bulging egg shape issue is beyond AH Beards comprehension to deal with. How embarrassing.

service I have received has been entirely unacceptable: Loss of Goods: From Dec 10 until Jan 16, their customer service department was unable to locate my mattress. Broken Promises: I had been told repeatedly that I would receive a callback or email, none of which have occurred. I had to call each time to get any information. At one point I had to call the local depot myself to get them to contact the main warehouse to locate my mattress Failure to Provide Reports: On Jan 20, I was promised a repair report and told the mattress would be returned that week. As of Thursday Jan 22, I had not received a report nor confirmation of transit. Unreasonable Delay: I have now been without a bed for over 8 weeks. I was told last Wednesday that the bed was repaired (with no input from me) and in transit and it would take a few days to get to the local warehouse which is only 4 hours away! Guess what? A week later the local depot doesn't have it and doesn't know where it is. I don't know how the company has stayed in business so long This is absolutely the worst experience I have had with a company in my entire life. This has been one example after another of pure and total incompetence. The bed itself is not what it's made out to be to begin with and this experience with trying to have it fixed just put the frosting on the cake. to look at it at the Perth factory (after my negative review) finding in fact that the support system ‘did fail’ and recommended we upgrade the firmness at a cost of around $500. So we did. Six months on it started failing again , and now a year on it’s unbearable. Causing back, shoulder and neck pain plus sleeplessness (constantly waking to due discomfort) Went back to the store - have apologised and offered us a great deal on a better brand. Not only are we disappointed with the quality, but the Warranty avoidance and lies is disgusting, and to pay more for the ‘promised’ improvement only to have it fail again. Not wasting time with their Rep and Perth team again.
Follow-up · The company refunded the $440 we paid for an upgrade when being repaired under warranty. Obviously happy about that, but my experience with the mattress remains unchanged.

The complete experience from purchasing to delivery was exceptional - all the AHB team were a pleasure to deal with. After 26 years I finally decided to retire my Previous bed which was an AH Beard just because I wanted a change so I ordered a King Koil Grand Luxury Langham Ultra Plush Mattress and AHB Classic 2 Drawer Base and behead. Wow what an amazing bed. Easily the best bed I have ever owned and cannot recommend the buying through AH beard more. They we fantastic to deal with and even set up the bed and took the old one away. Purchased a high-end mattress here that turned out to be very uncomfortable once slept on at home. Trying a bed in a showroom is not the same as overnight use, and unfortunately there is no return or comfort-trial option, despite the price. AHBeard 'customer service' consisted of stating the 'no returns' policy, and telling me I could spend more money for adjustments, which I was not willing to do, as I had no faith it would make a difference, and am horrified at the amount already spent. There are plenty of good value, comfort bed-makers out there that you can try and return if not comfortable. I wish I had read this before buying from AHBeard, and I would not buy from them again. Be smart and buy elsewhere, where they care about the customer and allow you to try before being committed to such a big purchase.
THE MOST INCOMPETENT STAFF IMAGINABLE. RUINS THE NAME OF THE COMPANY & PRODUCT – Staff at AH BEARD are incompetent. They were to deliver a Bedhead to me, which has taken 3 wks. Had a waterbed for many many years and loved it but as I got older with a back problem it wasn't suitable anymore. My new bed is excellent, so soft and comfortable and I don't wake up with a backache anymore just love it.
We recently purchased the Chiro resolve medium mattress in king size. The mattress is nicely firm and supportive without being too firm. Cannot feel movement of others in the bed, a very welcome relaxing sleep! Show reply

lying awake at midnight or 1 am in the morning and then moving into the spare room. The comfort level did not seem comparable to other "medium" comfort levels I had tried at the retail store. I went back to the store and their "medium" in the King Koil Chiro Estate was softer than mine. I decided to pay another $500 for a "comfort adjustment" by A.H Beard to a "plush" level because they only have three basic comfort levels in that range (this is a big disadvantage). All in all, I wish that I had never purchased the King Koil Chiro Estate mattress and would urge others to avoid this range. The medium comfort level is too hard and the plush is too soft and has caused an aching back because my body sinks down too far without enough support for my hips. I have wasted $2500 and will not ever buy a bed by A.H Beard again.

two weeks in the same condition as when it left. The next time it leaves the house it will be going to the dump. Warranty is a joke . Ten years or 10 meters out the door. Leave them in the shop.
