Faulty and no further response
I purchased two large single mattresses . When they were delivered we found them to be very noisy and squeaky. Rolling over they make a rowdy noise, even just moving your head or arm the mattresses squeak. It is loud enough to wake the person next to you. We went back to the place of purchase to explain our concern. The sales lady suggested they were new and to give them time. About 6 weeks later we went back to advise them they were still very noisy. We were given an email to write to. I did. I then received an email on 27th October asking me... Read moreto record the noise and send it to them. I did. No reply since then. I have sent two more emails and on the 22nd November tried to ring the 1300 number and it rang for over 3 minutes with no answer. Tried their other number and the same thing happened. No after sales service.

Ordered on of their top of the range mattresses, arrived the first time incorrectly made & then arrived the 2nd time incorrectly made.
Even less care factor.
Never Ever again will we buy from this company whether direct or through a supplier.

We have purchased our bed in Apr 2019 and it is now having trouble with the remote of raising it, etc. Would it be a matter of changing the batteries?
Yes, this could be one reason why the base is not raising. If you change the batteries and are still having trouble you may need to re-sync the remote to the base.

Oh gosh. This is a lesson learned. Will look elsewhere! Further, this company is different to that of the established Slumberland in Australia.

After emailing back and forth with the same questions that i answered a couple of times still not getting anywhere decided that rather than repair this bed which was not cheap will just buy a new one

We have a QS Slumberking mattress and base. The Hip and Back model made especially for Beds Plus (Peter Farell). What is the current equivalent to replace it with?
I do not know, but I recommend that you talk to the consultant at the bedding dept.
It's probably best you do your own research. You will have the best idea of what you want then pick a few to check out in store and see what suits you best. We got an A H Beard mattress as we had one of their mattresses before, but we chose a plusher mattress this time after doing our research. The store we bought it through offered a 120 day money back guarantee so long as we bought a mattress protector as well, so we took up that option as well.
