Service was excellent. Served by Teresa. She listened to what I wanted. I just tried to mattresses which she suggested. I chose the second one. There was no attempt by Teresa to get something expensive. All this took just 10 mins. The two men who delivered the mattress early this morning were friendly and efficient. After destroying my back with a mattress from another Australian made company that delivered a poor product and even worse customer service I ended up buying one from Makin Matresses. just contacted the closest Makin Mattresses store and they were very helpful, even arranging for a third party freight company to deliver it to the country area I now live in, albeit at my expense. I would recommend a bellissimo duo to anyone, if you would spend a couple of hundred dollars for a hotel room for a night then paying for a quality mattress that lasts a decade is an investment rather than a cost. I'm a tradesman who relies on my body to make an income, finished work at 1130 last night and started at 730 this morning, I probably would have been sore or grumpy if I didn't have a few hours of good sleep. Having the 5 year comfort guarantee is such a peace of mind.

kept questioning me as to why I got a medium mattress and kept telling me the mattress on the showroom floor have been laid on for years and that’s why they feel good. She insisted that I need to work the bed in for it to feel the same. I ordered a topper and paid more money in hopes the mattress would be more comfortable I have given it 3 months and I am in extreme pain we rang the store again to be told the only thing they can do is I use our comfort warranty to change the mattress firmness which won’t help I laid on the plush and hard mattresses and got full body numbness. It’s extremely disappointing that they don’t have an offer of ur money back when you have these kinds of problems. We also asked to speak to someone higher then the store manager and she told me that she was it and then said there is an area manager when we insisted their had to be someone higher and we are still waiting to hear from that person. My hope in writing this review is to save the next person from this mistake and saving them their money.

After research my findings lead to a mattress here. Natural comfort wool pocket excel. The decision was made for the breathable quality, natural fibres, long life. Were we fooled! Secondly, when I called the store earlier on they suggested their removable pillow top, we purchased this. Now not only is our bed still hard its also now a disgusting hot mess. Ive emailed the store, im sure nothing will be resolved as mattresses are an expensive investment that we assume total loss once it leaves the store. Update: last night my husband slept on the floor & me on the couch!

Very disappointed with our Makin mattress Queen Bellissimo. We have a problem with the sides sinking low on both sides to put us on a slope. We have tried to flip the bed and reverse it and it works for a couple of nights and then does the same. is so heavy it takes 2 to do it. We are in our 70's and I have to get my son over to help flip and turn the mattress. Making the bed and changing the sheets is a gruelling task as well as the bed is very heavy and difficult to lift. I cannot understand why the mattress doesnt have handles to assist lifting the mattress. Our previous mattress a Sealy Posturepedic which we have used for 15 years appx was incredible and easy to make up and turn. I regret not buying this product again. 2 also bought a bed base and 2 side tables at a cost of $4700 I would not recommend this bed to anyone and buyer beware it has been a great disappointment.

There was bad communication about picking up the bed and then was not given all that was ordered and was no easy resolution of the ladies stuff up of not giving us all of the products ordered and living over 2 hours away was not very impressed with the end service after paying $4830 for a bed!!! Show details

Purchased a split queen Bellissimo mattress. What an excellent choice. It’s super comfortable and totally reversible which is great for keeping your mattress’s in good condition. I visited the north Brisbane showroom. Service was quick, easy and a great price. Delivered within 2 days, by far the quickest delivery ever!
