3 weeks out of our trip they cancel the booked tours in Uluru. Phone calls go unanswered, after waiting 1 hr 17 mins, I hung up, no call back possible.
AND this was the second time AAT Kings cancelled our tours, making us reschedule the whole trip from March to May months ago, to suit their incompetent timetabling. This second cancellation is beyond a joke, especially as alternative dates are a week apart, hardly helpful when you visit for four nights. Entire trip booked through Luxury Escapes, yet cancellations come from AAT Kings.
Dont waste your time working for them they pay you bugger all and then when they dont want you wont get any work and then dump you after 3 months
they dont care how many drivers they go through
Our tour guide Kayla shows knowledge and maturity well above her age. The tours of Uluru and kings canyon were made better by having Kayla deliver expert and informative narrative.
AAT, you have a committed and passionate tour guide that enhances your product.
Couldn’t recommend these tours more highly especially with Kayla.

Awesome tour with awesome driver
Booked a tour of Sydney sights day trip with harbour lunch cruise met all expectations . Ash our bus driver was exceptional !! Always on time .She had great knowledge and never hesitated in answering questions . Would definitely recommend and would book with AAT Kings again !
Never turned then fed a load of lies
Booked through our travel agents Austravel and confirmed as per instructions they had no intention of doing the transfer as we found out when trying to ensure the return was booked. Firstly we were fobbed off and told it was our travel agents fault. Then speaking directly to one of their on site reps at Uluru (not drivers or guides) they couldn't either confirm the transfer and we're unwilling to call their own office. We then spent an hour on the phone to austravel's aussie rep and found that AAT Kings were never intending to pick us up for t...he transfer to the airport and we were initially told to make our own arrangements despite this clearly being included / paid for in advance. I will also be writing some reviews of their tour inorganisation in case you are thinking of using their services on tours....Use another supplier if you want a stress free time.
we did the 3 day kakadu katherine tour . this trip met all expectations and more could not ask for more info about various place we went and also areas in between stops .. ben our driver and guide was exceptional
not only a great driver but informative and enjoyed his work
there were no hidden costs
highly recommend this trip
I think AAT Kings try their best and they have some great tours in their offer but I was disappointed with their service at Urulu. We could say there were rather small things, but the kind that matter. Such as their bus being 30 minutes late for the night tour to experience the field of light installation before the sunrise (it makes sense to see the filed when it is dark). After I wrote to them about my disappointment they replied, that it is OK because I still saw the sunrise. It was quite an expensive tour to see the sunrise only. The respon...d from their office did not make me feel like they care about us as long as it is already paid. They have the monopoly there so they can do whatever they want — I guess. The other tour was very nice but when I needed a toilet, a guide told me I should wait till we get back to the bus. I was disciplined and when we finally returned to the bus — it appeared that the toilet does not work and the driver was not aware of it before the trip... just did not check it! As I wrote in the beginning, these are small things but those that give the impression: AAT Kings service is not 100% professional. Even if they operate in the most stunning places ever.
Very good tour to katherine
Couldn't find any fault with tour except 15 minutes late being picked up. Bus driver and commentary was very good. Plenty of comfort stops. Would recommend this tour for all age groups.
Highlight of my Oz Tour
Did the lot around the rock.
All trips excellent. Drivers : guides knowledgable and friendly.
Every single tour started exactly on time.
Meals / snacks were pretty good and plenty drinks available at the sunrise & sunset trips.
The sunset dinner and dark skies talk was exceptionally well organised with superb food and wine.
Kings Canyon was tough in sweltering heat but so worth it.
The fly net was the best $10 I have ever ever spent.
This tour group are probably the best I have ever used anywhere.
An unforgettable experience
The four days that we spent in the Red Center have been the absolute highlight of our stay in Australia so far. Many thanks to the AAT guides, especially to Jo and Rob W. (Uluru - Kata Tjuta) and Marcus (King's Canyon) for being so friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. We were also impressed by their incredible knowledge. Martin and Renate
Always on time and helpful. Enjoyed my Uluru sunset/sunrise and KataTjuta. Ghan was not quite as I expected but food and service was great. Very enjoyable few days despite the 44° heat.
Bad customer service
Even though they knew about zero visibility on the mountains they still took our money with out advising
Us. Didn’t want to give any compensation.
Kings Canyon- Brilliant tour guides
Your enjoyment of a tour has a lot to do with the guides. Jason and Sarah were our tour guides for a AAT King’s day trip (from Yulara) to Kings Canyon. They were the consummate professionals and displayed fabulous teamwork. We had an amazing day. They were very thoughtful around our comfort, worked brilliantly together and gave us so many gems of information. Highly recommend them. Other guides- less so.
A fun day in the Blue Mountains
Did AAT Kings Full Day Blue Mountains in Style tour on 20th July. It was the inaugural trip for coach 321, which was spacious and comfortable with plenty of leg room. The tour was interesting and packed in a lot without feeling too rushed. Our driver, Peter, was funny, informative and ensured all the passengers felt included. The river and harbour cruise was a wonderful end to the day. The lights of the Bridge and city from the ferry was magnificent.
Extremely informative AATKing's driver and guide
We booked a two day bus trip to Kakadu through Flight Centre Melbourne and were thrilled with bus driver and guide Gordon. He created enthusiasm with his profound knowledge of the environment, wildlife, history, indigenous culture and invited us to ask questions or add to his wide ranging knowledge.
