Appalled and ripped off
Absolutely appalling, unethical and immoral behaviour. They advertise a property as «Free Cancellation», requiring pre-payment, and charing a ridiculously high credit card payment fee. Then contact you saying the property is no longer available, telling you that you can use the money already paid with them for another property, or cancel, then they charge you ANOTHER ridiculously high card processing fee on the refund. Read more guest arrives. This is facilitated by Stripe. At no point do we handle any payment processing fees as Stripe take them directly. There are transaction fees also when you use an ATM credit card machine, Paypal, or send funds between banks, so it's unclear why the guest would consider this unethical. This is simply a cost involved in professional online business transactions. Amaroo Retreat Katoomba - Accommodate the management spoilt our weekend
We were a group of 8 and our third visit to the property which we love.
Firstly wood provided for one day not three and took numerous calls for more - wood locked away in a shed outside
One guest left an item and needed it to be returned urgently - reading glasses.
Did not answer emails or phone calls and when they did they were rude and had attitude not the way you should treat a paying guess. Charged $60 and the postal cost was $12.
I now know why they have a rating of one star.

We enlisted Heidi and luke to manage our very successful property in the blue mountains. Long story short they charged us over $500 for a months linen hire avoided any questions when we asked about money avoided all attepmts to be transparent they would not breakdown charges or costs. Heidi had actually said to me in writing that she would cancel this may booking because it was only 3 days and not 5 which is the minimum when an event in the area is on. Heidi and Luke lie, they stole from me and failed to provide any transparency about their business and how they operate. They wouldn't even show us that they had insurance. We ended up booking a stay with accommodated. The place and weekend itself was amazing. However, the managers of the property were the nastiness people i have ever dealt. Caution - Avoid dealing with these people
We booked a farm stay with that was being managed by Accommodated, yes we had an amazing time during the stay but it is what followed after that turned it into a nightmare. Unfortunately during our weekend we had accidentally damaged a couple of items and as a group we understood the frustration that was caused by that. After using this business the staff were professional and thorough, we will be back for sure as we have found something we really like. The knowledge from the owners is exceptional. The accommodation was very well priced and affordable, for sure will be back as the professionalism is fantastic. Thank you :-)

We just had our deposit taken
We booked a stay with these people in the blue Mountains. After already having issues with communication with the so called owners we paid our deposit. We should have walked away earlier but thought wed give them a chance anyway as we really wanted a get away. Well, a week before our check in we received an email that our property was double booked and that they had to cancel our reservation. They said they would refund our deposit in full. This was over three weeks ago, no communication has been received since after numerous emails and phone calls. We feel we were defrauded and have now reported this to the police and the tribunal. Be extremely careful people, this eneded up as our wors nightmare as an old couple.

We feel scammed
Worst service ever. Owners are abusive, they advertised a property we liked. then when we paid our deposit got told its something different, ie the property was missing several things, kitchen not fully equipped, balcony under construction etc. We asked for a refund of our deposit and they are now refusing to refund it. This is preventing us from having a stay elsewhere. Steer clear people!!!

BEWARE!!
I wish I had read the reviews first and saved myself angst - Worst managed holiday business and even worse attitudes - hard to contact (never answer or return calls) - always ready with an excuse, and downright rude. Privileged, arrogant owners trying to rip people off . Poor, poor, poor delivery.
