When we asked the business to provide basic documentation identifying the unit supplied (such as the supplier invoice or serial number), they were unwilling to provide any evidence of the part that was actually installed in the vehicle, despite charging for a “New Genuine SAM Module.”

My father is a pensioner and relies on access to the boot of the car for his mobility aid. The fault affecting the boot means the vehicle cannot be used independently, which has effectively left him unable to leave home without assistance and caused significant stress.

If the business chooses to respond to this review, I will be happy to attach the supporting documentation from this dispute, which demonstrates our repeated requests for evidence of the unit installed and the business’s refusal to disclose this information.

Called these guys about getting a pre purchase vehicle inspection done. Great communication from start to finish. Stan is the man! Absolute top bloke. Veey knowledgeable and no nonsense. Gave a veey honest feedback.. highly recommend!

The worst experence I've ever had, total rip off when challanged over prices charged, admitted to over charging for parts compaired with other workshops, Ace claimed they do charge more as they have higher fixed costs compaired with on the ground service workshops. Do your self a favor stay away, go to a local compatant honest mechanic

Ace mobile mechanics advertise itself as a jeep mechanic. When I rang them to organise for a jeep mechanic they told me he was a general mechanic and the charges is $145 to attend and diagnose even though I already know what the issue is. Worst mechanic ever – If there was -5 star I would have given that to them. They charged 1200 dollars for nothing just to diagnose and give a quote. If you ever want to get ripped off and can't find ways to spend your hard earned money. Go here. Worst mechanics and should be reported for malpractice and overcharging. Charging labor twice.

I had a great experience with the mechanic from ACE Mechanics, Mr. Unbelievable. When he arrived, my stress was gone. He didn’t just change the battery with a new one, but he also checked my car and found other problems. He knew exactly what the issues were and helped solve them. Mr. Unbelievable was very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. I really appreciate his service and highly recommend ACE Mechanics.

This had given them excuse to rip me with quoting me more than $400 on top of my service cost to just open the bolt (Do you believe?) which was unreal and when I told them it's a rip off, they said that's what it is told by their boss and if I want to proceed with the service I have to pay the extra amount. I told them this is not justified but they didn't listen and finally I decided not to get my car service due to unreasonable extra cost (it's my hard-earned money) but they still charged me more than $200 just for the visit. They could have easily spotted that issue and had told me in the start that this will cost me extra and I would have said no straight away and saved my time and theirs. But it seems like that's how they operate to rip the customer by wasting initial time and then quoting unreasonable amounts so that customer gets cornered and either pay them extra money or still pay them hefty amount for their visit of doing nothing.

Great service – My experience with ace mechanics was that my elderly father’s car was stuck in the driveway and couldn’t get started I found them on google gave them a call and were very helpful came out the next day fixed the problem and they even gave us a discount great customer service highly recommend and thank you very much

Great Car Service – We had James come out and service my wifes car. He was excellent. Explained everything he did. Advised me of what needed doing and what could wait. He was very attentive to everything he serviced. Will definitely use James again as its so difficult to find trustworthy mechanics these days. Highly recommended.

Be ware of cheaper price...you pay later – I wanted to do a RWC on my 1 year old car and transfer to my daughter. I choose ACE Mechanics for price and took their cheaper option meaning I had to waite 1 or two days. Very happy – Had Osman come to quote and possibly repair my ute window. Came on time, was punctual. Was very clear with what he was saying. I’m no vehicle expert, but explained everything so I understood what was wrong. He was very humble and I definitely will contact him should I need repairs to be done to my vehicle.

Diagnoses – I was told from the call centre they were confident That they could identify the problem with my car, Almost $400 later still no Diagnosis and the call centre kept promising to call me back and never did, After they got my money they didn't want to know me.

Avoid like the plague – Had a pre purchase inspection with them. An absolute joke. No VIN checked, photos you can’t see and told the seller the details of their findings. No customer service skills at all Please look at the negative reviews and heed. Avoid.

Doesn't carry stock to fix windows – I used the services of Ace Machanics to fix my window that wouldn't come up. The machanic did t have the parts to fix it only pull the window up and jam it so it doesn't fall down. Low and behold not 10 days later it's fallen down again but further than before. telling the person who booked the call,the problem in the begining I would of thought theyd be prepared with whats required to actually fix the window.When I rang to ask if someone could come out and do it again I was told it would cost me another service call fee of $169.00. and $44 dollars per 15 minutes after that. No back up service what so ever. Should of gone to a real auto electrician in the first place. Not happy Jan.

Fantastic customer service & knowledge – Today I had Allan come out to my residence in keysborough, for a service, he was so super friendly from the get go, very informative about the problem is and how much it’ll be to fix. when it came down to the problem Allan was so lovely & helpful, giving me different options of what I could do next, I really feel like he really cared about me as a human not just as another paycheck would 100% recommend them

Worst customer service anytime for anything! – Totally the worst customer service I have encountered anywhere for any service. Repeated failure to keep appointments or show up with zero phone calls to rearrange or explain why. As a business using convenience and customer service as marketing points it completely fails. If you value your time under no circumstances use them.
