Worst customer service anytime for anything!
Totally the worst customer service I have encountered anywhere for any service. Repeated failure to keep appointments or show up with zero phone calls to rearrange or explain why.
As a business using convenience and customer service as marketing points it completely fails.
If you value your time under no circumstances use them.
Completely Rip-off
Already spent more than $4000 and took 6 months to fix problem, but problem didn't fix. Completely Rip-off . Admin staff is terrible and no customer service.
Never ever recommend to anyone.
Terrible service
Absolutely terrible I have spent alot of money already with them and my car still isn't fixed. They don't come back to look at the problem without a service fee. Don't go to them they will rip you off and you will be left with a car not running well. Very unimpressed to say the least.

Don’t call them it’s completely wastage of money. Even they don’t have proper tools in their van. And they will convince you to take your car to their shop if you have Called the mobile mechanic or mobile auto electrician. Only thing they want is your money that’s all. Don’t waste your time and call someone professional

ACE MECHANICS send out Roy to work on my F150 1987. I have done most of the restoration but needed a hand to finish off on some electrical and mechanical issue to get this truck back on the road its been 4 years. I was so thankful and grateful to have finally be able to get a Real mechanic who you can trust to do the job right this guy knows his stuff. Two weeks later I got Roy back and he continue on where he left off I was around him that's right watching and learning and everything he did solve the problems that he identified again and lay out a plan of attack. The high point of the day is when the Old 302 Windsor ROARED BACK TO LIFE for the first time in 4 years Roy did HIS checks replaced spark plugs etc turn the key a couple of times pump the accelerator and it was music to my ears. Well guess who's coming this Wednesday that's right Roy to help me set up the transmission cable shifter on the new bracket I have made get the rear wheels on and test the transmission out take it for its first drive and sort out some electrical problems CANT WAIT. Brazen rip-off merchants
I had Ace Mechanics check my car as it wasn't starting, and the problem turned out to be a flat battery, which was replaced. The battery itself cost $260, which seemed high. Lo and behold, I call their Dandenong office asking for a quote to have the exact same battery fitted, and the price was $80 less than what I had paid. When I called the agent up on the inconsistency, he got irate and turned it back on me, even having the temerity to call me dishonest. We ended our conversation with the agent more or less saying "tough; it is what it is".

Read moreHaving read some of the recent reviews on recent sites, it's obvious that these guys don't operate with professionalism or integrity, but instead choose to make it up as they go, skimming whatever they can from people in a rush to get their car fixed. They took two of my car's. One being a WM caprice that they completely ruined and also my cx9. I paid in total 5300 for my car's which were meant to be roadworthy, and they had them for over a week. One came back with nothing done at all and it was an insane car when I took it there , for me to get two pieces of craps back. Someone from Ace Mechanics came to inspect my car in order to provide a report following an agreed sale. After the inspection, my engine light is now on. There was no issues prior to someone coming out to inspect. My cars been recently serviced and a roadworthy was also completed giving me piece of mind. First Class Service
Ali from Ace attended my home to check a non functioning rear wiper. He was on time and discovered the problem was not electrical. The wiper itself was corroded and unable to turn. He freed things up and got it working again.
Horrific
The most humiliating and disgusting treatment I have ever received in my life. They took my car into their shop, promising me they could repair it and gave me a courtesy car. This courtesy car already had 250xxxkm on it and died in the middle of Port Melbourne, and I missed my MRI. Then they gave me another one, and I had it for SIX WEEKS while they did God knows what to my car. On the phone they said they would fix it at no charge, and then when I came in they said it would be $400. I was visibly upset and the disgusting slimy little man smiled in my face and told me he didn't want to deal with my emotions. Zero customer service, zero empathy, and zero car fixing apparently goes on here. Also, not a mask in sight, or any covid safe practise. I had a great experience all up until I had to pick up the car. It is really hard as a young female to get reliable car services and these freaks took advantage of me. I paid $3k when I could have got it done somewhere else where they offer you a chair and ask you how you are when you come in rather than staring at you and stealing your money. I am sickened by this and I hope no one ever goes here. How are they still in business. Disgusting.Dodgy as- rip off merchants.
I used the mobile mechanic service after my car broke down. The mechanic came at the specified time & diagnosed the issue with my car. He told me it would cost $900 to get a brand new part (if it was even possible to get) & then labour on top of that. But told me they could refurbish the part including labour for about $550. I agreed & paid for a tow truck. I decided to call my local Repco to see how much the part would cost & turns out they had one in stock for $276. I immediately cancelled the job and thankfully got reimbursed for the tow truck fee I paid. But it is obvious that they are rip off merchants. So grateful I trusted my gut & did further research. Would NEVER recommend them.

Service on used car
Amazing and reliable .. Ace Mechanics - called this morning and came within an hour and Mark attended my work and was able to help and ease my mind by servicing my newly purchased car and let me know was needed. Will happily be calling back to re book with Ace Mechanics for Mark to come back and complete .......highly recommend thanks guys
Worst experience I’ve ever had
Buyer beware! This mechanic performed a major service on my car and left me with a car that stalled at every single red light on the way back from the service. This was not a pre-existing problem. Their own technician said that it was probably something their mechanic did. He went away to lodge a report and I have heard nothing back since! It’s been over two weeks! No attempt to contact me and no replies to my emails. Don’t do it. These guys are a scam! Have a look at the reviews on their own website- horror stories. I can’t believe the ACCC hasn’t revoked their license yet.

Read morems were complex and took a while to resolve). During that time you did have the use of a loan car which you did return damaged (front and side) and under fuelled. In relation to your vehicle, your vehicle was stalling and had various mechanical and electrical issues. These were resolved and further notes placed on the invoice. You have advised that your cruise control was not operating from your steering wheel. We arranged for you to return the next day and we promptly had an initial look and offered another loan car for you while this new matter was resolved. You were advised that if the cruise control issue was related to our prior work then there would be no charge (ie under warranty) and if not related then there would normally be a charge incurred however we offered to fix the issue for free even though not obliged as a gesture of goodwill. We did need the car for 2 days to resolve this issue and offered another courtesy vehicle free of charge. However, you were emotional and demanded the cruise control issue be fixed immediately which just wasn’t possible. Each step of the way we have been solution focused and willing to go above and beyond. You left our workshop and have not responded to our contact since, rather preferring to vent online on various channels. So there is a clear solution and way forward provided (with no cost and minimal inconvenience to you) and we are sorry to see you have chosen other options (and to make this a issue).
