Bad rates bad valuations
Charged lmi plus 15% deposit as they undervalued the property. Was a competitive rate when settled but over the years multiple rate cuts not been passed on so had no alternative but to leave.
I would not recommend borrowing or banking your money here as they will try to lower your off-set account every time they see it's growing. They also have the worst customer service and we need to call our Broker to fix an issue they do not understand.. How can they hire incompetent people to take care of your account? No one will know I guess.
SO, REGRET USING THIS BANK
We are loyal customers with, this bank, a poor cousin to Bendigo Bank, near 30 years with loans to fund investment properties ect. They are slow, at everything, with unknown company policies to clients> They will tell you qualify, after submitting application for finance, then say its not their policy to give a letter of approved finance, in turn saying tell us when you buy one and they will look at it. This is useless if your going to a auction. If you make a payment using their Anypay function, under $500, they will not reverse, as they consider it a civil matter, and you sought out. Equally they have no linked credit card available. As with most reviews, its definately time for us to move on.
BAd Bank (Bendigo & Adelaide Bank)
After 7yrs of being an ideal loyal customer Adelaide bank turned on me. Tried contacting everyone from the board members to the CEO, but no one would help. AFCA favoured the bank (who are paid by the bank). Nearly $50,000 later the court ruled what they did was wrong, but yet they did not let go of my funds. I will never trust this bank again.
