Thank you for the question, are you able to advise on whether the unit has oil, or has any load attached on start up, as these are common problems encountered on first start up.

Yes it has the recommended oil in it no loads are connected all it does it starts and then stops every time wait 2 mins and do it all again starts then stops very bad product

In general they are no more louder than any open 4st generator out there. Be warned the generator I got also snap the brackets off the exhaust. They are not rubber mounted . The exhaust eventually broke off after I fixed the brackets then snapped the crank rod on top of the inlet valve sticking on many occasions. The engine is a typical Chinese engine that is in alot of none branded generators. It is the second one that had issues with the inlet valve. I previously had a blue diamond generator. Like the king's generator it also broke down permanently before the warranty had run out.
