Hi, I've got a 3.5 kings generator that works fine, trouble is I think the plastic fuel tank is cracked and leaking fuel. Just wondering can I still get fuel tanks for these older model generators.

Hi Wayne,

Thank you for reaching out, unfortunately I do need to advise that as they've been out of rotation for some time we no longer have spare parts for them, I'm sorry.

Hi, I’ve got a 2.2kW GS2200i with a priming bulb that’s not priming - can I order one through kings or is there somewhere I can order one? Mike

Hi Mike, Thank you for the question, I believe we could source one for you, as while they're not a regular part, with the batch number of the unit our general enquiries team would be able to chase that with our warehousing team and go from there for you.

Hi All, I have just come across a Kings COLOSSUS 3500i Inverter Generator which needs a replacement Inverter Module. Everything else appears to be working well. Does anyone know where I could find a Used or New working Inverter Module Part. Thanks in advance.

I have a 3.5 kw Kings generator. It works fine just had a fuel leak. The connection to the fuel tank is fine. Looks like it is from near the fuel on off tap. Is there any manual on how to gain access to this area? Thanks Steve

Hi Steve S, If you still need to repair the fuel leak you will need to basically dismantle the entire plastic casing which means both sides that hold the handles & fuel tank in place after taking both ends off first (exhaust & control) ends. I have found that the fuel tap, primer bulb & fuel pressure unit are all attached to the side casing & all connected with poor quality moulded rubber fuel hose. If you were going to go to the trouble I would consider replacing all the pieces of hose with good quality hose. A bit tedious & fidgety if you or someone has the patience. Good Luck

I have a kings 3.5 kva generator. Unfortunately the fuel primer bulb has a crack in it and I cannot prime the engine to start. The back of the primer has 1 outlet that goes up to the Carb. I cannot locate a new primer for this model. I have contacted kings many times and they cannot help, I’ve gone to all mower and small engine people in my area, no luck, they only have the primer for whipper snippers etc which their fuel line is way too small and has two rear outlets on the back primer . I need a primer that has 1 outlet about 3 ml in dia. Can any one offer any light on this matter.. TIA

Ok my 5.5 kw has been great for a couple of yrs, worked fairly hard on bore pump 8hrs a day and back up off grid power. It has spat the cooling fan ( flew apart) between motor and generator, can anyone tell me what brand of motor so I may find another one.

Unbranded Chinese motor made in Wenzhou, China.

Our 2kva generator is 12 months old and hasn't missed a beat til now. We use it to run a portable washing machine ,charge the phones and very occasionally light power tools. It will start, run for a few minutes then stop and was showing the overload light. Changed spark plug, fuel filter and used carby clean. Overload light didn't come on, but still stopped after a few minutes
