ALDI Adventuridge Portable Hammock & Stand Questions & Answers
VerifiedI need help I am not over the weight limit and have the locks I. The hole but it is to low to the ground and the thing where the metal bar goes in the fabric ripped don’t like first time use
If it is faulty, take it back to the store.
No it is not but the hammock as soon as I sat in it broke it fell to the floor and the fabric on the metal part ripped
Does this hammock swing?
Umm... yes, that's what a hammock is and does, otherwise it's a bed.
hahaha.. this made my day
I have had the Aldi hammock for some time. Unfortunately it ripped on the weekend and I’m unable to continue using it. Can I purchase just the hammock from somewhere? The stand is still useable. TIA
Just read that there was a recall...https://www.housebeautiful.com/uk/lifestyle/shopping/a40869473/aldi-recalls-adventuridge-portable-hammock/ - - The German retailer is urging customers who have purchased the ADVENTURIDGE Portable Hammock with Stand to stop using the product immediately and to return it to their nearest Aldi store, where they will receive a full refund. Sold as part of Aldi's special buy, the outdoor furniture product has since been removed from the website.
All batches of these green or blue portable hammocks with a metal frame/stand, which have the product code 816216, are affected and it is thought that the fault could be due to a design defect which may cause the seam to split. The seam at the end of the hammock, where you lay your head, has been ripped after a limited number of uses. It is also believed that the sustainable materials which were used to create the hammock itself may be behind the fault.
In a statement online, Aldi said: 'We apologise that this product did not meet our high standards and thank you for your co-operation.' They explained that 'similar products sold in previous years are not affected'.

How much did the Adventureridge Hammock sell for?
As it said in my review, $59.95 when we bought ours.
Can you get a replacement hammock with out the frame
I think you'll need contact ALDI to ask them directly.
No
I want one so bad but I can’t find the one I’m after does anyone know how often Aldi brings these hammocks out there’s one online that looks similar but it’s not got the pockets
They had them just a couple of months ago and then a year or so before that, so I would guess annually.
That said, I don't recall ours having any pockets, not quite sure where you got that idea from.
Hi Aldi, I'd love a pdf copy of the User Manual. Is there any way you can send it in pdf format?
Unfortunately, I can't find ours just now. If I can, I'll PM you. Alternatively, phone ALDI Support and ask them for the supplier details. I did that for the treadmill we have and they sent me a manual pdf.
I just put it out of the box. Looks cool. But when I lay in, I already touch the floor. It’s so low. I neither can’t get out easy in that. I assume something is wrong. But I have no idea what. Can someone help?
Have you locked the frame open with all the locking pins? I cannot think of anything else to explain this unless (sorry, I have to suggest it) you are exceeding the weight limit. When you put up the frame it should actually have been quite difficult to pull the hammock mat onto the second hook if you've set the frame correctly.
Thanks for answer Mike. Lol. No I am not over the weight limit. I am at 70 kg. I will take a picture asap to see how it looks.
I can’t put a picture in there.
I locked the frame again. I did it wrong. Thanks Mike. Now it’s perfect.
I hope you weren't offended by my asking about your weight, I had to be able to discount it. So pleased you've managed to sort the problem out, happy to help. Happy Christmas and stay safe!
No, wasn’t offended. That could have been a possibility aswell. Totally understand. You helped me perfect! Thanks for your time and have a great new year! Stay safe too!
I can't get the material to stretch over the frame, so the whole thing is useless! Even if I could get it together, the material would be so tight nobody could sit in it. Suggestions?
I'm assuming you have setup the frame correctly with the four locking pins through their respective holes. Once you have put one ring over the took at one end, go to the other end, then get a friend to push the already hooked up end towards you, you can then hook the near end quite easily. Alternately, push the far end against a wall (use a towel to protect the wall and hammock). You'll be surprised how much the hammock and frame stretch and flex as soon as any weight is put on it, it's very comfortable.
Thanks - it turns out I have a different model to what's shown here, but I'll try those suggestions anyway.
I had the same issue. Just couldn't get it to stretch and the distance was too wide. I ended up pulling out the pins, install the hammock and rings over each hook, a friend and I used our body weight to push down each end and needed somebody else to push through the locking pins. Once assembled it was very comfortable!
Set up the support frame with locking pins in place, place hammock ring over hook at one end and bring ring at other end near its hook, then grab the internal spreader bar at that end of hammock with your other hand to stretch the hammock enough to slip the ring over the hook. Once you've stretched the hammock with your body weight, all of this becomes even easier.
I have a double adventure ridge hammock. Lost the screws. Where can we buy
