Airflex Inconsistent Sizing! – I have a pair of comfortable quality Airflex wedges in a size 8. My second pair of exactly the same style and fit are a size 8.5. Both pairs measurements are exactly the same but labeled different sizes! I do not understand why shoe companies are changing the sizing. I’m noticing my wardrobe now stocks sizes between 38,39 and now 40!!! They all… Read more
fit me and are quality shoes. The big difference I’m noticing is that most are now made in China instead of Europe. Are the Chinese responsible for the inconsistency in sizing? I think so.

Air flex dangerous not comfy – Boots purchased and worn 6 times and rubber in heel has become soft and malleable so now the heel is unstable and unsafe and curved I am not a small person , but not obese either and these boots can not withstand weight of a person These boots should be recalled Show details

Poor quality work shoe – Purchased Airflex Flexi Fit Relax four months ago. Advertised as a comfortable quality work shoe. So disappointed. The heel worn through in 4 mths. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Show details

Best boots by far - just exceptional in every way – After suffering through the torment of several different brand boots I finally found these Airflex 'Chelsea' style ankle boots with elasticised side gussets. I found these boots to be easier to put on than others, they allow your feet to slide in without crumpling or excessive tightness - brilliant!! - but once on I noticed how the fit was a bit… Read more
wider than normal allowing instant comfort with no rubbing or toe crushing which is fantastic for someone with wide feet and high arches. I was suspicious of just how comfortable they were at first and wondered whether they would stand the test of walking some distance, I needn't have worried because I put them to the test on a 14 hr day long walk around Paris, France and they were comfortable all day long again with no rubbing or blisters etc. I am so glad to have found these boots, they are everything a well made/designed boot should be, easy to get on, comfortable to walk in for extended periods, weatherproof and they look very fashionable too. I highly recommend these Airflex boots, they have and still are exceeding my expectations in every way, I couldn't wish for a better pair of do everything, daily wearer boots - Bravo Airflex!!
If a $150 shoe lasts 3 months, they not interested to refund!! – Be very careful when shopping at this store and contact me first! I bought these really nice shoes, to wear only on special occasions, $150 and after 5 or 6 times, the cushioning inside came loose. I took it back to the store in Garden City, where I was advised by the very nice shop assistant to just get superglue and stick it back on. Maybe it… Read more
would work, but for this price, I prefer proper shoes that last longer than 6 wears. She was then so nice to exchange them which I was happy to do.
Three months later and the new shoes, worn about 5 times again, the heal rubber started to come off. Went to Garden City where I discovered Airflex store closed down - wonder why? Today I went to the Perth store in Hay St. Wow what a surprise of how not to do customer service, I couldn't believe it! the shop assistant called a person, a man, who bare had a look and told me that the sole is suppose to come off and he will get it glued for me (must have shares in superglue).
I told him that I rather want a refund, to which he totally refused and said they don't do it. Now to my knowledge, if a consumer purchase a product that fails to meet the standard/intent, you have the right to ask for a repair, replacement or refund under the Australian Consumer Law. Since it was the second time it failed, I asked for a refund to purchase other type of shoes that hopefully would last.
I am now pursuing the matter through WA Consumer Protection - but the attitude of that person - he calls himself Peter!
Really good customer service – There seem to be less and less retailers nowadays that are happy to go the extra mile for customers. Airflex seem to be one of the better ones. If they don't have the shoe or the size or colour you are after, they will be happy to search another store ... and ... have it transferred .... without cost, for the convenience of you - the customer. … Read more
My experience at other stores is that they will not even look up the stock of another store, they will also not call another store for you (expecting you to be the expert on their stock, after you do your own ringing around of their stores). And, if your item IS at another store, they expect you to go whereever that is to pick it up, and / or charge you up front for the item (and pay for postage) then expect you to wait as long as it takes to get it. Sometimes it never materialises, in which case it's up to you to keep track of that receipt and seek a refund - after you've explained the whole scenario to a different staff member - right from the beginning. And of course, your bank will process your refund, sometime in the next ... 10 working days or thereabouts.
Not at Airflex. They will track down a store where your item is currently parked, have it transferred to a store closest to you and phone you when it arrives, at which point you can try it on and if you want to purchase it, pay for it then - when you actually have it in your hands.
That is what customer service is supposed to be. Really not that difficult to offer, but getting so much more difficult to find. Thank you Airflex.

Airflex shoes – Hi I am just about to buy another pair of Aiflex shoes they will be my 4th set. Firstly they are well fitting and dont need wearing in they feel part of my body from the start and they are so light. The pair I am wearing now have been worn every day for about 4 or 5 years. I have never been as happy with any product I have ever had they are… Read more
indestructable, I would not buy anything else. Betts and betts stopped selling them for about 18 months I was gutted but they seem to be getting them back in store but seemingly in a limited range. They are the best shoes I have ever had and I would not buy any other brand.
Only shoes that last – I have bought many shoes but they are only good for 3-6 months before they wear out unlike the Airflex shoes I now purchase which are the only shoes I have found that last me 4-5 years only requiring replacement due to sole wearing thin due to excessive wear. Show details
The only shoes I buy!! – Great value for money, comfortable and long-lasting shoes. Airflex are also the only shoe that I have found to fit my kids feet property, as long as the kids have there airflex on there is no complaining about sore feet and no taking shoes off in the car on the way to school or the the shops. I couldn’t thanks Airflex enough!!

Soles split in 4 months with just a seated office job – Only worn for 4 months in an office job where I sit most of the day. Soles in both shoes suddenly split in same place whilst walking in office. They split all the way through to the upper portion. Show details
Not Impressed! – Purchased 7 months ago and only wear in a carpeted office (car is at the door). The sole is coming away and they have stretched so much they don't stay on my feet. They weren't cheap either.
Faulty shoes – Bad customer service I brought back faulty shoes and the area manager was so rude and basically accused me of me doing this to the shoes terrible service and shoes fall apart

First time air flex wearer – I love the look of them but so far they are so uncomfortable and make my feet hurt. Will the leather soften? Won't buy again if it doesn't! Happy for help with this. Any ideas? Show details
Inner leather split in 12 months – Airflex leather sandals very comfortable and look great but the leather on the inside sole split in less than twelve months making them uncomfortable and useless. Might be OK if a $10 pair of sandals but NOT GOOD ENOUGH for a $100+ pair. I have other sandals (Kmart quality and price) still in good condition after 5 years.
maestro shoe- dont buy – The shoe looks great, very comfortable and the leather on top good quality but the sole on the shoe wore after 6 months. Not good enough for $120 pair of shoes.
Not worth the money when they fall apart after 1 season :-( – I bought Airflex Felisa sandal in early summer and they were in the bin by the end of summer. The soles still looked brand new, the inner looked barely worn, but the upper lacework was just too thin and simply gave way. Such a pity as it was a comfortable shoe and looked very nice but pointless if they just can't be worn.
Good Value for the money – I have ordered 3 pairs so far. I really appreciate that the shoes are mainly leather and they have used a good quality materials (that could be the reason for higher prices). Airflex, suggesting to use Superglue is not a good idea. That is why I drop one star. Sadly I have heard the brand is being consolidated with another brand that are not as quality materials as Airflex.
Wow cant even get a credit note because manager does not allow it – Okay so i buy these $70 that promised me to be comfortable but turned out giving me god damn blisters on the first 2 hours of wearing them and they said they were on sale wow and also she sells me this shoe cleaner spray for leather it was damn $15 and it doesn't do anything honestly also I came back on the same day and they said it cannot be… Read more
refunded is this right, honestly don't buy shoes from airflex. Pretty bad shoes, other stores have better shoes that can be bought at for a better quality and price.
Great shoes big BAD customer service in store and online – Rude grumpy staff at Doncaster store. I went in to exchange shoes bought online and struggled to find something that fit me and told store manager I was struggling to find something. She and another girl there told me I could only get refund by returning online purchase or exchange in store. What they failed to tell me was that I could get a store… Read more
credit valid for 12 months (found this out by myself on their website). To make everything worse I went in store to Chadstone and spoke to the manager explaining my situation and if I could please get a store credit. She was also very serious and lacked friendliness. She let me have a store credit even though out of 14 days which was nice however I went on to say that I wasn’t happy with customer service in Doncaster and she goes on to say that the business is going through lots of changes so staff are struggling and everyone deals with things differently...i couldn’t believe it. She defended their rudeness? Also wanted to contact airflex via email and no one has replied and it has been over 7 days. Such a shame because they have a great product but could fail miserably due to customer service.
3 pairs a year? Wear down quickly! – As a male nurse a comfortable fitting shoe and professional appearance is paramount. The Airflex look great but the base does not live a long enough life. I'm on my feet alot yes, but I should expect at least 6-12 months from a shoe. The airflex tread wears away like butter in a hot pan. 3 pairs in 11 months, I now just go to Kmart.
Horrible customer service – I ordered three things online, but they only sent me two items AND in the receipt they just crossed out the third item - excuse me, I am sure that is not the way to get my order cancelled? If they don’t have the item in stock they should give me a refund, and if they do have it then they should send me the product. It has been 3 weeks, although… Read more
they promised express shipping. I have contacted them over 5 times but they are not answering at all. Disgusting, money scamming company. Do not buy from them at all!

Shoes from Hell !! – I bought a pair of black airflex high heels. They looked amazing. At first they were super comfy , but about 30 minutes to 1 hour in they started hurting very badly. It got to the point where my feet were covered in blisters and I could barely walk. This was a issue because I am a Cabin crew member and we walk a lot. Everyone said I have to walk… Read more
them in. So I wore them everyday but no luck. I literally tried everything to stretch them. Even the old wet newspaper trick. Nothing. It got to the stage where I had to call in sick to work so my feet can heel from those airflex heels. Absolutely terrible. They are literally the shoes from hell. I eventually went and bought a cheap pair heels which was like walking on air.
Super disappointed, thought airflex shoes will be comfy and amazing... was quite the opposite.
Bad Customer Service – I have purchased Airflex shoes in the past and found their shoes extremely comfortable, I would have purchased another pair except for bad customer service from Queen St Mall Shop, The staff were simply not interested in helping or serving, I walked out and purchased Windsor Smith shoes from 4 doors up the staff were helpful and attentive.. find it amazing that companies like Airflex have contact on their website we fill in all the details and you never hear back from them,
Also found they have no landlines listed for their shoe stores only mobile numbers that no-one answers rang 5 times with no response.
I wonder how do these companies stay in business? great shoes shame about the non-existent service.
Poor Quality- Soles started to come off after wearing them twice – Bought Airflex shoes 3 weeks ago and soles come off the leather, after wearing two or three times. Took them back to the store and the 2 casual staff, told they are casuals that they cannot do refund/exchange without manager’s authorisation. Mall is expected to be opened till midnight because of Christmas approaching and staff left at the stores… Read more
were casual staff? Good management, not? after they made an assumption that the shoes perhaps not well looked after, as they have wear and tear mark at the top foot where the soles cracked open and said they were just wear and tear? 3 weeks old, wear a couple times, looked brand new and said it’s costumer’s fault??
POOR Quality for $139AUD shoes! Don’t buy this brand as they are BETTS GROUP, cheap shoes making big profit. Go for Clark and paid the same price after disc.
Much better quality.
Never again
overpriced – They looked quite good online, purchased the Descend @$97.00 + $10.00 postage. Very thin sole, no arch support, very cheaply made. Could have purchased a pair much cheaper elsewhere. Thought I was buying a quality product. Never again!
Appalling customer service - never returning – On Saturday I went in and bought a pair or suede shoes for my partner, and was reassured that a size 12 will fit his size 12.5-13 feet. As I expected they did not, so I took them back to the shop for a refund or exchange. Well the two girls are the shop (one flirting with a guy) and the other too arrogant to care told me they are not going to give… Read more
me a refund but suggest I spend the $80 - on shoe cleaning products. Are YOU SERIOUS - I want a pair of shoes that actually fit! I walked out telling them what a waste of $80 you don't have any shoes here that will fit him but you want me to get shoe cleaning products because you don't refund!!! needless to say i will never return to buy these shoes.
Appalling quality – My wife brought two pairs of shoes 3 weeks ago - ballet flats and sandals. After wearing ballets for about 5 times, the sole at the toes started to come off. Went back to the shop at Westfield Southland and the lady immediately agreed to issue refund for the ballets. I've also tried to request refund for never worn sandals as well, but she refused… Read more
stating that nothing is wrong with them and only agreed to issue a store credit. While legally she is right, because 14 days has passed for the change of mind returns, but since the first pair failed so quickly, my wife didn't want to take chances with the other pair, only to discover that it faulty as well further down the road.
Now we are stuck with $130 store credit of the shop where there is nothing we want to buy.
To sum it up: the service was OK, but the quality is awful. A poster in the shop saying "Durability beyond industry standards" (or something like that) now looks particularly silly.
New mens casual shoes – I first purchased Airflex shoes 3 years ago and would not buy any other shoe, majority of their shoes feel like pillows on your feet. I couldn't recommend their products enough. I usually wait untill the pair I want is discontinued and dicounted between 50% and 70% off. Just bought another pair of casual shoes today at 50% off, $50! woop woop. Another happy customer.
Leather Boots – Very nice and comfortable boots, had them for 13months, wearing them 2x per week. Both soles broke( split in half). Took it to the shop, was told that its wear and tear. Not true at all, sole was poor quilaty thats why it just snapped in half. Never happend with any shoes i had before. Customer service is very bad, they offered me 39$ store credit for 190$ boots. So think twice before you purchase from this company.
$130 and most uncomfortable shoes ever! – Bought these end June and after a shift today I'm nearly crippled. There is no wearing in. Feel I have just wasted my money. The pain lasts hours after they are taken off. Feel cheated.
I'd rate them higher if I could! – I'm surprised at the number of bad ratings. I bought a pair about five years ago and wore them just about every day, because they were the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. So I searched everywhere for a airflex store and ended up buying two different pairs. One is as comfortable as my original pair. The other one looks fabulous but isn't quite as comfortable. But, they serve different purposes. I'm still 110% satisfied!
Not comfortable to wear, it's not worth even a look. Airflex is not really air involves, is just a f – Worse pair of shoes i have ever bought. Look is really deceiving as others said. there's no quality involves and shoes feel really uncomfortable. My previous half a price feel 10 times better. They all possible way to avoid this brand. Feet can't really breath as oppose to what they have been advertising! try to avoid !
Bad quality – 1 star for nice sales girls in store. But these shoes are very bad quality; I bought them for wearing to my part time job and the sole came off after 1 month! These were $90 shoes! My $10 pair from kmart lasted longer! Well these shoes are very cushion-y but what is the point when they just fall apart? I am never buying this brand again.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! – I purchased x2 pairs of shoes, hardly worn and the soles split in a matter of weeks. $300 wasted. Absolute junk.
