Just bought this second hand and I am completely stuck on how to fold back the support legs once I'm finished with the bed and want to set up the couch again. I have tried pushing, pulling, twisting and everything else I can think off. Can someone please help me out? Thanks

Have you worked it out? Same issue here

I found it, there’s a button at the top of the leg that’s hard to press down but it worked

Why do the middle legs keep folding up even when I’ve followed the directions - can’t use this bed in fear of falling

Do you know how to put the legs down? Thanks

I purchased one of these beds in april and when my guest slept on it and turned over the bed tilted against the wall. As he was an adult he was able to push the bed back to its original position but did not turn again during the night. I have checked the bed and pushed on the side and it tipped again. I now have to put a stool under the bed to stop it from tipping again. this is not satisfactory. If the bed tipped when a child was using the bed, it would be very dangerous.

Did u try pulling the fold-out legs out? Sounds like that's your problem.

Thank you Joshua G - as soon as we read your comment we realised what the other set of zips were for. Problem solved. Cheers.

I feel entirely let down by this product. It is rock hard to sit on... and no amount of cushions is going to fix it. I don't have the box anymore and feel like the product has been misrepresented. It looks the same but the description of comfort is laughable. Reading about the legs snapping a few months in doesn't give me much hope. I'm at a loss of what to do to be honest.

I disassembled and returned the sofa to my local Aldi within 24 hrs and got my money back with no issues. I somehow managed to tape together the box it came with. The warranty says you can return it within 60 days of purchase (or something like that). Ring Aldi customer care at 1300 777 137 - Ask about the box situation. I'm sure they can help.

Legally, the packaging is not required when returning a product. But then, a receipt is also not required legally, just proof that it was bought from that particular store. Even the amount of time, which varies with the product type, can, legally, be much longer than 60days, or whatever. I saw it all on an episode of "Chasers", an Australian show, and they were talking about Australian law. Of course, few employees seem to be aware of these laws, and probably a number of managers, although they should, so a call to the ombudsman, council alderman, or similar, might be required in order to convince the ignorant. But, short story is, if u have a genuine issue with a product bought in Australia, and u can prove u bought it from the store u r trying to return it to (not sure how that translates to franchises, like Aldi), and u do it within a "reasonable" amount of time (as dictated by law, depending on the item type), packaging, or no, and the store refuses your request to return the item, you can take the matter further, and you will win. Of course, it may take a bit more time and effort than just lugging the thing back to the store.

Have you got the sofa bed ($299), somewhere displayed? How hard is the mattress?
