temperature - comparable units dry the air without affecting the room temperature greatly, such as Mitsubishi Avanti 'dry' function from Bunnings. A case number was issued and nothing happened until I called them back weeks later. In the months this has been going on, I have never had a call back despite the promises to do so.
They sent a replacement filter and remote: exact same issues indicating a design fault with both filters and remote.
The unit cost hundreds of dollars of electrical and masonry works to install and their support flippantly says return it to the store for a refund, they did not grasp the gravity of the situation nor the cost involved to 'return it'.
I managed to accidentally get in touch with ALDI directly who took the case over from Tempo for a little while then...gave it back to Tempo. Now, in March 2020 and a service agent is booked to come to site. They have no working remote. They have no filters that will fit.
But this is what the ALDI "5 years in home warranty" looks like.
Will update if this ever comes to a conclusion.
