clothes which were new, as they'd not been worn due to the very cold weather we'd had. On eventually moving into a home, in late June 2023, my delivery arrived but missing my 4 suitcases? Obviously I was pretty upset as most of my clothing for Queensland were in those suitcases, including all of my good jackets, diving wetsuit, items of clothing and mementos I had been given from my three sisters and my mother. There were a long list I have of the clothing and other items I lost in those suitcases.. Do you think Allied Services Head Office cared? No not at all! The man who organised my move was very concerned as he had it picked up in Creswick, to be taken to Bendigo to be put on the same truck as my son's and daughter-in-law's goods being transported up to Qld. There were unknown changes that occured, for whatever the reason, and my goods were shipped to Melbourne! Then reloaded to begin the long journey up to the Sunshine Coast. My goods ended up going to 8 different depots, until they arrived for storage in Qld.. There was never any explanation that was offered to explain why the changes? No-one seemed to know. I made many appeals for MH suitcases to be found. It was fruitless.. I never saw my suitcases again. Three years later to the day, 23rd May, I am still upset and angry that they went missing. No-one was to blame they say. These things happen? Insurance to cover those few items of mine was way too expensive for me to pay. But the fact that they were booked to go on my son's truck as a back load, I assumed all would be safe! How wrong I was! 4 large, medium and small suitcases that were tagged with my name and contact, went missing? I presumed they were stolen. I was told they could have ended up in the wrong storage areas, or the wrong storage container, accidentally sent to God knows where. Do you think anyone would call that name and phone number in the stickers to alert me that they were found? No. Not a word. No phone calls. No sight of them ever again. So it makes you wonder how many similar incidences occur like this? Covering our goods with insurance does little to satisfy the mind that our goods will stay safe. Insurance does not cover momentous or memories!

never said to us that there could be a problem with these items. We paid professionals and got cr#p. The operations manager told me we had to expect some damage, you can't transport house load of items and have no damage. They felt $40k damage wasn't all that bad for a house load. So kind of tells you everything you need to know abut the stander they work to. They indicated a six-week door to door, it took six weeks to get it on a ship. What the sells consultant offered is not what eh Operations manger could deliver. When i asked for this to be investigated (as part of ISO it's a requirement), nothing happened, To make it worse they were promoting have ISO standards

They packed empty or nearly empty cleaning products, we were told no cleaning products could go across, we didn’t want them packed. Coast) was fantastic — responsive, professional, and always picked up the phone. • [Name Removed] (operations) has been very helpful and is clearly trying to pick up the slack from the wider service issues.
However, the rest of the experience was incredibly frustrating:
• They lost the notes about our moving day arrangements and told me that if I couldn’t remember who called me, there was nothing they could check — completely dismissive. • Monday delivery never happened — although they worked hard to get it to us Tuesday, the communication and planning fell apart. • After unpacking, we discovered damaged and dirty belongings: dents in the fridge, a damaged dryer, handprints all over the TV, dirty marks on white linen, and white couches not wrapped during transport. • Boxes were not properly organised — clothes mixed with office items and electronics. • On moving day, the team played loud music in the neighbourhood at 7:30am and left Red Bull cans on the kerb — very unprofessional. • When I called about box collection, I was told they’d call sometime next week when “they were around” — which is impossible to plan for when working full-time. After insisting, they finally offered Monday as a pickup date — making it sound like a favour, even though this should be standard.
After previously trusting Allied for major relocations, it’s extremely disappointing to see such a sharp decline in care, professionalism, and organisation. I truly hope they address these issues — because right now, I cannot recommend them.
Disappointing- would not use again, very poor quality and service. They are careless not careful as advertised. Used for a local move to storage. Plastic used to wrap items was old and had tears in it, Bags were not sealed and had gaps that would allow insects etc to get into the soft furnishings whilst in storage. items were protected whereas they were just left on top of other furniture with no protective wrapping. Movers ran out of bags and asked to use our garbage bags. When raising issues we were advised they would fix it but at an additional cost. Contacted management who became defensive and refused to acknowledge responsibility for their poor work.

Gold Coast, they were extremely unorganized and slap hazard and arrived totally unprepared. I packed the majority of my place apart from the larger objects which I was told that they would take care of and wrap/protect correctly…….this was a service that was clearly offered but not delivered on. I had several items arrive unprotected and damaged, concrete dining table has chucks out of it, a large mirror is broken and a coffee table is also unusable, artwork frames have scratches and the main TV was packed in a massive box with two pieces of polystyrene to secure it, this was also damaged…….all things I was sold on being wrapped and protected, this was NOT the case. Everything I packed made it in one piece with the exception of one cup that the handle snapped off. The dealing with the Gold Coast office to try and rectify this was horrendous and a very lengthy process. I admitted I didn’t take insurance BUT they also told me that all large items would be transported in the correct way, they were not and zero duty of care taken. I finally got a ‘no, it’s your fault not ours’ answer from them three months after the pick up. They avoid dealing with anything like this so well, if only they put that focus into the service that was sold to me! AVOID AVOID AVOID I will say that the Melbourne team were an absolute delight and very professional so can not fault them at all. Gold Coast, learn from Melbourne and your reviews may not be quite so bad! Seems a common issue with you and your team. I also asked them to arrange removal of the large damaged items as I live alone and have no way of doing this and will not be using the items due to their damage and they simply told me that they were my problem and arrange it myself, this would mean me paying more money as a result of their incompetence!
Great to deal with prompt and efficient – From quoting Allied were great, messaged the afternoon prior to move day to confirm timings. Lads who did the move were great, they did an amazing job and super helpful, very efficient. Big thanks Allied team, made the move easy and stress free.
I have never had a more disappointing customer service experience – Moving from Qld to 2 destinations in WA. We were told to clearly label and physically separate the belongings for each destination which we did. allocated move manager would not return emails, refused to return calls and his office phone message back was full so all avenues of communication were blocked. Repeated calls to the office were unfruitful despite the staff making the right noises. The first packing team arrived without the ride on mower which we delivered to their depot the week before. We were told they couldn’t find the ride on but hoped to locate before the 2nd container arrived the next day. Several ms of goods from our stables were not included in the first container as intended. With half our belongings going to a unit in Perth and the other half going to a country property we are now confronted with the real possibility that the contents of our stables and the ride on mower will be delivered to a 98m unit in Perth. Readers can no doubt understand our frustration.

Excellent service. The staff are very professional and attentive. All my items including the fragile items arrived in original condition. The service was cost effective too.
Communication was great. And the team that came to the house to unload all of the furniture were professional and organised and they really took care of my belongings.
Moved from the east to the west coast, Allied picked up our house contents & delivered south of Perth, the only damage I have noticed was a small mark on a bedside table, everything went smoothly and on time

Organised for Allied Sunshine Coast to move us the day of settlement and store our furniture with them for 2 weeks. No problem. Explained it had to be in the morning as settlement was 12.30. Great. would be between 11am 1pm. Said that wouldn’t work as settlement was 12.30 and if furniture was still in the house it became the property of the new owner. Was told they don’t do pickups on settlement day for that very reason. And this was the guy I booked with originally! He said they would try and move us this afternoon. Meanwhile we’re panicking as we weren’t fully packed. I meanwhile found another removalist who was happy to move us the next morning and rang to cancel Allied at 12.13. Scott said they would be here in half an hour and I told him we weren’t fully packed and that wouldn’t work. Ended up cancelling them. His attitude was just so rude and as he was on speaker my friends heard him and were appalled at his rudeness and uncaring attitude. Needless to say I would never recommend this “professional” company and now that I’ve seen all their one star reviews I’m glad we cancelled. The only good thing is I had an email a very short time later asking for bank details to refund us.
Rushed when quoting and not listening to requirements. When doing uplift they wanted more because they claimed it was not quoted. Numerous breakages and when raised they became very defensive And argumentative. Will never use again.

Australia. The lack of communication is unlike anything we have ever experienced after numerous attend/emails requesting an update. Failing us receiving any kind of communication this week, we will have no choice but to take this matter further with the appropriate authorities as this type of negligence is in fact criminal. Crossings my fingers we receive some news this week after sending yet another email on the whereabouts of our container. Will keep everyone updated.

The team that dropped our items off were very friendly and efficient however the communication from the Gold Coast team was not very good. We had to phone to find out where our items were and when they could be delivered. It did take a lot longer to bring up from Melbourne and deliver to us than anticipated. Show details
The team were incredibly efficient, reliable and professional moving our possessions from the Sunshine Coast to the ACT. We have every confidence in Allied Pickfords and their team ! Highly recommended !
All the guys were lovely and made the removal of the furniture and everything less stressful. We have a 4 bedroom house, we packed everything but they did both tvs very carefully. We used them to up to QLD and very happy were using to go back down to NSW. Very highly recommended by us.
Sorry I am a bit late in my review but on May 6th Reece , Nirai, and Josh helped move us into Gemlife Gold coast. I cannot recommend their service any higher. They were fantastic, very cheerful, great music, and worked so hard, but took care of our stuff. Thanks so much chaps, would recommend you anytime.

Great Job – The Gladstone team went above and beyond, to help us when organising the move, the 2 boys packing our gear up were fantastic, wrapping everything up and placing everything in the truck with care, then the 2 Mackay boys unloaded with the same care and attention. Seamlessly delivered professional moving service – We used Allied Pickfords to move from the Gold Coast to Cairns. Our furniture was placed in a container and transported by rail, then stored for 6 weeks by Allied Miving Services Cairns and subsequently delivered to our new home also by Allied. Both teams acted professionally and were pleasant to deal with. No breakages or damage to our furniture were sustained. Very happy customers.
Avoid at all costs. Definitely not the careful movers – I relocated an 2 bedroom home internationally to Brisbane and I cannot fault the international team. My issues started on arrival to my destination. Issues that occurred Double charged for handyman services which did not happen on the day of move in as committed. Arrived after delivery window, on which I needed to follow up with the operations team as no one had contacted me about a known issue on the day. Not enough time to deliver furniture and belongings with minimal furniture put in place although unpacking of items had been paid for. Items of value left outside my front door. Fixtures in my house broken due to careless stacking of boxes inside my home. Outstanding issues not rectified and on follow-up recieved no return of phone calls or texts from operations team members Managers took no accountability for the inaction of their teams stating that they did not know about the outstanding issues. Not knowing about the issues means they have no processes in place to track the jobs they are assigned. Still waiting for final resolution of issues 4 months in.

however, we had three young gentleman who were incapable of reversing the truck down the driveway so they carried the furniture down the driveway.
A door was ripped off my timber and glass display case. Most furniture had been damaged in some way, glassware wrapped in bubble wrap in heavy duty moving boxes was broken. Boxes has been ripped. Furniture and boxes were left behind, something I didnt notice until going back to the house later.
The young gentlemen mentioned they had another job to do after ours, so I do wonder if the carelessness was due to being forced to rush to another job.
Rude Staff – I have never had such rude service from a company before. We moved from Bali to Australia and shipped a container back. The company has an office in Indonesia, where the staff were lovely. What a complete different story when we dealt with the Brisbane team once our belongings arrived at Port. She refused to answer emails, she refused to make phone calls to us when we needed things clarified and she just in general had a horrible attitude to us and the team in Indonesia. I wouldn't use this company again just because of this one lady working here.
Moving with security – Complete professionals, my move was just recent from Forest Lake to Pallara QLD distance of 6km. Best Moving Company – Allied made moving a breeze with extremely quick packing/ moving. The Movers were all super positive and happy which is hard to find these days. Absolutely highly recommend.

have all been delivered within 1 week) and then discover some items had disappeared and others were badly damaged. I had to chase constantly for updates and was repeatedly ignored throughout this time, with no apologies. I was left with only 1/2 of my items over Christmas and new year and my sofa on its side in the middle of the room as they lost the legs and my ‘essentials’ box - I live alone and I am wheelchair bound, I was unable to move around my house. I am absolutely disgusted with their customer service. I lodged a formal complaint and the response was factually incorrect and lacking empathy or any form of compensation for the many many thousands of dollars I have spent. I am still awaiting further feedback after escalating over a month ago… The movers themselves were friendly guys - but the logistics and customer service was an absolute nightmare and it has been an incredibly stressful and upsetting time for me. HK two and a half months before our required delivery date which was nominated when the goods were picked up. I wrote a confirmation email 10 days before delivery. I wrote another 3 days before delivery and was told that date was not available. I asked what the delivery date would be but was told there was no plan. I can accept a delay but no plan is unacceptable. The people in the Brisbane office were unhelpful to be kind. I finally received our goods 6 days late with half a days notice. I think I would still be waiting if I hadn't pushed to get our goods. I did not get one phone call returned and had to chase everything from the Brisbane office. To be fair, the Gold Coast office were fine and the actual removalists were friendly and professional.
Dreadful, furniture poorly packed and damaged – Poorly packed furniture, two dining table legs snapped, small side table leg broken, bench seat pads flattened, frame wrecked.
