Extremely disappointed. Fridge not fixed. [Name Removed] on the phone was always aggressive and all about money. I can go to a medical specialist and it would be cheaper. They won’t come back without another call out fee. Appalling.
Follow-up · Yes the manager arranged a new ice maker to be installed. I paid for the new ice maker over the phone so they could order it. When it arrived at the store they phoned me and sent their expert in Fischer and Paykel to install it. Here I was before this out shopping for a new fridge which I didn’t need. So pleased I still have my fridge and the ice is working.
The service was polite, precise, and extremely prompt. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and organised a repairman visit straight away and 30 minutes later they were here. Fischer & Paykel washing machine repair – Craig was fantastic. He arrived on time (early actually) and was able to easily repair my washing machine within 30 minutes. He explained the issue to me and used genuine parts. It’s so good to have my washing machine back in action. Thank you Craig, I will definitely be recommending you!

Fixed the broken pump and didn’t charge a fortune – My technician, Sam, was punctual and went the extra mile to make sure the problem was resolved. The intermittent issues with the pump meant at first it looked fixed, but when it only worked a few more times, the part was replaced affordably and professionally.
Done a great job fixing my fridge – Mathew done a great job fixing my fridge on the same day , would recommend his services again.

Technician Will provides great service – Service was booked and technician was able to complete the job earlier than scheduled. Explains all aspects of the work including tips for better efficiency and maintenance- Will is very customer oriented, experienced and professional, and has done a great job, I feel like I have value for money.
Excellent to deal with! – The staff were great to deal with, took the time to understand the issue with my fridge/freezer and book a time. The technician arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the issue and provided a report on the problem. Unfortunately the unit was unrepairable. I highly recommend Always Prompt Services and will be using them again.

Never Prompt – Extremely rude admin/receptionist. Having received the invoice for the spare parts days after technician had visited we paid it quickly so we could get it ordered but the admin lady would not order it until the funds turned up in their account (even after offering to send confirmation of transfer) when called the following week to get an update.… Read more

Technician arrived and finished, and advised that yes we were correct, but he didn't have the part on him, so he'd need to come back another time, that'll be $169. The entire interaction took 15 minutes (confirmed through our home cctv system) however the lady over the phone insists that the technician was with us for 35 minutes- perhaps including the time he spent on his phone parked outside of our residence??? Nevertheless, $169 to confirm what we knew already???? Initial fee, plus the quote for replacing a single part and their time (apparently washing machine technicians run $676 per hour now) equates to just under what it would cost to buy a new machine entirely, would never reccomend this company to our lovely community, regret reaching out to them.

Excellent repair and service – Craig was on time (a little early in fact) but called ahead to let me know. Thorough job on repairing our fridge and explained everything he did as he went. Showed photos of the job done. Very polite and great customer service. Got his card so we can call him again (but hopefully no time soon!)
Bosch washing machine repair – Always Prompt organised for technician to come at time to suit me (not easy). Sam came on time, fixed issue with washing machine quickly and even happily dealt with sharing laundry with small puppy. Very happy with service provided. Thank you Sam.

Prompt repair – Many Thanks to Sam from ALWAYS PROMPT services. I had two hair pins accidently get lost in washing machine jamming up the works. freezer into the fridge. After agreeing I was told I would receive a quote. Later that night I noticed the fridge was completly broken now the top had zero cold and I had to throw out everything in the fridge.
This call out was on a Friday, I had not received the quote by the following Monday so I called them, and was informed it was not possible to give me a quote for some reason they had to wait 48 business hours before I could be sent a quote.
I finally received the quote on the Wednesday after making multiple calls, I made the deposit payment promptly hoping to get my fridge fixed asap. They decided to wait until the following day to place the order for the part. It was like it was no big deal I had no fridge for over a week at this stage, they dragged their feet at every step not really living up to the name. It took 5 business days before the part finally arrived.
I got a call on the Thursday this is the following week, I was told I could have a technician at my house in 30mins otherwise it would not be be possible until the following Tuesday. I was at work and would have prefered to be there in person to make sure it was fixed but was also keen to have a working fridge before the weekend, at this stage I had no fridge for 2 weeks.
After agreeing the technician turned up and my wife let him in, he spent 30mins mostly looking at his phone installed the part said it was tested and working. He told my wife to wait 2 weeks and let him know how it's going. (sure we can just have no fridge for a month it's no big deal with a pregnant wife and kid in the house)
When I got home I checked the temp on the front display and it had not reduced it was 25, I checked again before sleep and first thing the next day and there was zero change in temp. I took the shelf out of fridge to put my hand over where the cold air should be coming from and there was zero air.
I don't get how you can test it yet there is zero cold coming in, spending 30mins mostly on your phone to claim the full call out fee yet you can't put your hand over the cold area to check for cold air.
I called always prompt repair to explain that the fridge was completly broken now after their technicians had been out. I was told the only option was for me to pay another call out fee, so they can slowly give a quote and order another part, then pay an additional call out fee to see if that might fix the issue. And by then it still might not work, I don't understand how you cannot test the fridge to find the fault. What is with replacing random parts to see if it might fix it or not.
The fridge was semi working before the first technician came out after he left it was completly broken.
I'm $450 out of pocket now with a completly broken fridge, I've ended buying a new fridge. The main mistake I made was calling always prompt repairs in the first place.

Would Never Use This Company – Dishwasher showing a F11 fault. Rang this company said they could have a technician out same day. Technician came wasn’t even here 30 minutes told me the fault was a kink in the drain hose and I needed a clamp on outlet hose. Charged $174 Never given a receipt for my payment. day told them same fault had occurred. I was told would have to pay another call out fee of $29 , also for labour and any parts needed, as it was a continuation of service, even though they had not fixed or rectified the same problem. Asked to speak to Manager was told I couldn’t. Could only email. So I did. The reply I received stated the same blurb about being a continuation of service etc. etc. Also said the unit had been uninstalled when Technician came and wasn’t ready for testing or repair. Please what an insult to my intelligence. The unit had been turned off and the hose disconnected, as my son didn’t want water flooding my kitchen. Was also told in the email, at this stage, we now suspect an intermittent fault with your dishwashers drain pump. The problem turned out to be debris covering the water outlet sensor. This was discovered when my son who has Autism, not a qualified or experienced technician Googled the fault. He cleaned out the filter at the bottom of the unit and also cleaned the outlet water sensor. He removed a large piece of debris that was on the sensor. Ran the unit 3 times it never showed, or has shown the fault since. Still waiting on a reply to my email when I let them know this.
