Do not buy shadow 2 9 piece what a rip off falling apart, chairs are non existent and now table is starting to fall apart as well, firstly the screws started falling out then the timber started growing mushrooms, definitely not timber, lasted about a year, I’ll never go there again.
Sold the 6 piece Miami outdoor setting. Told cushions were removable for washing when they are not. You cannot remove to clean whatsoever. No help from the company they just lie and take your money. Show details
Just garbage furniture and the signature series – I wouldn’t waste my money anymore on the garbage furniture got dining room chairs which was the signature series which where $600 a chair and have a 15 year warranty. and they won’t take them back and give us store credit to buy different chairs and this has been going on for 3 years now they have replaced 2 chairs and these 2 they are only willing to replace the legs. I would consider they a major failure of the product so be careful
Rust on metal on any product – Be aware that Amart warranty does not extend to rust. Our claim for rust on our dining table legs was not honoured.

requested another look be taken at the eight photos I provided which clearly show the flaking is not where the chairs would knock against anything. This second look was refused. I then returned to the store and felt sorry for the staff, who obviously have no say over this decision. I emailed 'customer care'. I would call it 'customer rejection". I asked for a review and that it be noted that the rest of my Amart furniture is still as new and that the flaking on these chairs is not in a position to be the result of rough handling. My response was that the decision was made and it wasn't a manufacturing problem. I have since emailed asking on what basis that decision was made, considering the fact that I have produced evidence to the refute that. I have had no answer. I also notice that Amart does not respond to any of its multitude of negative reviews. To have a 1.8 star rating out of 2,090 reviews says it all. DO NOT BUY AT AMART FURNITURE. Just prior to posting this review, I was asked if I would like to accept a mediation process with Amart and I chose that option. However, there was no discussion whatsoever, so I have given up waiting and I am publishing this report.

Excellent sales, service, and warranty – Purchased table and chairs set 12 months ago and two of the chairs had thread pulling in places. Fail to uphold consumer guarantee on defective products – Lounge is barely 3 years old. on product being quality for an expected lifespan; depending on the purpose of use of product - being sitting on the couch that should withstand springs holding it up . #update: 2024 lounge had to be thrown out. More springs broken, leather cracking/peeling and no pets on it, Regular leather care cleaning. Never shopping at smart again
Saloon recliner +3seater – The quality of the Saloon lounge is so awful and disgusting. The cushions are sinking in creating gaps in 3 seater lounge. I can feel the frame when I sit. The fabric is constantly peeling. I have beeen offered replacement and this is also same. It's a total rip offf. I would not recommend to anyone to buy this cheap lounge for $1798
Absolute crap – Absolute crap products. I have the shadow 9 piece outdoor setting, It cost thousands! I was told if i looked after it it would last me years and years! store first...why have online shopping!! that was on the 24th June...still waiting... had to purchase a euro bed to accommodate relatives visiting....received a text msg today 10th July asking me to contact store to arrange delivery (which i paid for)....can't do Wednesday they not delivering (state of origin) can't do Thursday (recovering from origin) have to wait until Friday with no set time..have to wait for a phone call.....appalling to say the least!!
Poor delivery service – I purchased some lounge chairs this month at the Mackay store and was told they would be delivered around 2 weeks. I was astonished today to find out that the couch would not be delivered until the end of September and the recliners at the end of August!! Disorganised – Ordered items as none in stock and unable to buy the floor ones..... Order came in. Text was received informing of it and asking for a pick up date. So I called the store to ask if I could pick up on the same day. Yep no worries. Always very time consuming at AMart when picking up. Why ? Why? We called up asking about delivery options and the staff member said just come into our store and you can decide then whether you would like to pick up yourself or have it delivered. We were not told, that we would have to arrange for delivery the day before. We were now able to arrange for it to be delivered in three days. Bad service – My husband daughter & I went to amart mackay store this weekend we had picked out the bed frame out daughter wanted to purchase online & it stated ask in store for managers discount on that particular bed was served quite fast but the sales staff couldn't access the managers special price without the manager after a 20 minute wait by us as we were told he Manager was on the holding bay with no price given we walked out very very bad service!!! Poor bonded leather couch quality – Bought a $1200 bonded leather corner lounge and in less than 3 years the lounge is peeling on all seats and back rests. I would have expected much better for the price we paid and am very disappointed in the overall quality. took the cake. She was waiting on a tv unit & buffet to complete her package. The manager of super amart sent 4, yes that's right 4 of each to ensure she got what she paid for. But....Out of the 8 pieces of furniture that were sent out, all supposedly checked before leaving the loading dock at the store, not one of the pieces weren't marked or damaged in some way. One of the pieces looked good, too good so i walked round the back & there was a friggin hole in the back of the unit.....This was checked before coming out & it was ticked as being acceptable to deliver. Mmmm really.
After the experiences my daughter has had with super amart here in mackay i would never ever purchase anything from super amart. And when she rang the manager & told him about it, his reply was "we'll i don't know what else i can do for you"....Really......So if you are in the market for new furniture make sure you check it personally before accepting it, go on to the store & go to the loading dock & check it yourself, or - & this what i would do after going thru this debacle with my daughter, i would buy it from somewhere else. I cannot believe what was sent out & that it was considered to be good quality when you could clearly see the damage on it. Someone is obviously not doing their job or doesn't give a flying fark about the stuff the are checking. I'm disgusted with what they have been sending out which is why i would never buy from this store.
