Don’t buy from Amart they don’t honour there warranties – San Marco leather lift electric chairs purchased from Amrart on 22/5/2024. assured us the chairs came with a 10 year warranty that was a lot better than Harvey Norman. Save yourself a lot of trouble and shop elsewhere.

Misleading 10 year guarantee statement – Bought a Lannister 3 seater with 2 inbuilt recliners and 2 Lannister electric recliners from Amart North Lakes in 2019. use and raised a warranty claim only to be informed that it is usual wear and tear. The sofa is not our main one and was not being used extensively, as in, not daily. Not sure if leather sofas are meant to tear after 5 years of use. I believe that it is not good quality leather that is being used.

Don't be fooled by the 10 year guarantee while buying products from Amart.

Amart warranty a waste of paper – Would give Amart a zero rating if it was an option. Purchase a Theodore leather lounge from Amart furniture North Lakes in May 2018, sales order 426-241690 with 10 year warranty. my claim was rejected due to the fact our lounge was dirty apparently… what a joke… the lounge has been cleaned exactly as we were advised by the amart consultant at north lakes who sold the lounge to us. We sit in it … isn’t that what a lounge is for … apparently not an Amart lounge. Warranty is worthless from Amart. In addition the technician who attended also peeled leather off for testing …. now I have a strip of leather missing as well… oh and of course this isn’t covered either. Sales order was over 8k .. plus many orders before and after the purchase of this lounge … poor customer service from Amart for a customer who has purchased from them many times over the last 30 years. Will never purchase from them again. Highly recommend anyone but Amart!

Fabric tears through normal use not covered by warranty – Purchased Asheville dining chairs, received in Feb 2023. manufacturing defect covered by their Quality Guarantee. Therefore, they declined the warranty claim.

I am not sure how 10 months of routine use that caused the fabric of 3 of our chairs to tear in the exact same spot is not a symptom of a manufacturing defect.

I am disappointed that Amart do not recognise that this is an issue, and am concerned that the remaining 5 of my chairs purchased will develop the same issue.

know how to remedy the defect some departments had no record of the purchase. Eventually they agreed to swap the buffet after I said that I will lodge a complaint with ACCC. The new buffet was meant to be delivered in mid October. Then they called and delayed that to early November. Today I called to check and they are now saying late November, the excuse was that "other people have purchased buffets and they take preference." The buffet is still in its box in our living room. Also the wardrobe we ordered says that it takes 2.5 hours for 2 people to assemble, it took 10 hours. I won't be shopping here again and will lodge the ACCC complaint today, So much of my time wasted due to this Northlakes store. Also the new Spacemaster Babylon extra large freestanding wardrobe is so huge that it won't be able to be removed from this home if we move, as to disassemble it would mean causing damage to the wardrobe due to about 100 nails in the back.

Warranty is a scam – 10 Year warranty promised stating that any fabric damage would be covered on my $4500 couch and chairs. 3 years later, I submit a claim. Their guy comes out and tells me its normal wear and tear and it can't be repaired. Amart dismisses the claim saying its not a manufacturing defect. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Customer care is non-existing – Ordered mattresses to be delivered to our new house the day we were moving in. The delivery truck arrived, then decides to reverse onto the driveway which is 170 meters long with quite a steep incline which resulted in him taking the power line to the garage down. Eventually after contacting the store several times I am told that it's not their fault and they're not going to do anything about it, apparently they have told me so already (except they haven't, no one from Amart has tried contacting me at all.) I filed a complaint with their complaints department, I receive a message saying it's forwarded to upper management and they will contact me shortly. It's been over a month now, I'm still waiting for someone to contact me. Looking at other reviews this seems to be their way of doing business. Moving boxes at inflated prices and not worrying about customer service. If you want my advise; avoid at all cost.

Terrible, disapointing – It is a terribly disappointing experience shopping from Amart. time with heaps of questions, repeated calls from different people, different solutions, terrible customer service. After all arrangements, the North lakes store said we have no approval, however customer service said just go to the North Lakes store and have your discount in your cart. Never get back to you and I'll follow my case with the Government and social media.

are very uncomfortable to sit on as it has lost support and can feel the structure/springs when sat on for sometime.I am surprised and dissapointed as to why this is labled wear and tear and taken off without even informing us.the tears cannot be wear and tear as we are not ants to crawl into those edges and sit on if the assessor had any brains it is defects in craftmenship.also the smart care plan promises claims for rips,even though this is not caused by us it should atleast cover under this.all 3 sofas are of very poor quality the customer lady said they are heavily used we are full time workers and maximum we would sit there for an hour daily ,she was so rude and said even if I put another claim the outcome will be the same.I am so upset that they didnt even have a courtesy to inform us of the outcome .

Really disappointed in the two 3 seaters! – We purchased two 3 seaters from the northlakes amart May 2018.. and are very disappointed how quick they deteriorated!!‍‍‍ we were sold a leather protection kit..but actually not leather.. i certainly wouldnt buy cheap again! obviously … get what you pay for! 3.5 years old! Bad customer service – 1 star is way too much for Amart North Lakes, bad customer service, delivery contractors have to be the worst in Australia…..delivery person was rude and inconsiderate, he dumped the couch and his dirty shoes left black stains on the brand new carpet, amart refused to accept any responsibility for their contractor…..terrible customer service, will never buy from Amart North Lakes!  Show details

Disappointed – We ordered and paid for a couple of recliners about 2 weeks before christmas, we were told we would have them beginning of january which we accepted, 2 weeks ago we were told we wouldnt have them until the end of january, today we were told we wouldnt have them until between early february to middle of february. I would not recommend Amart at all, not impressed that we were lied to.

i would get my husband to fix it when he got back from overseas in six weeks times. However when amart sent me a review form i thought i better mention it, just in case it turned out to be faulty and my husband couldn't get it on either. Within the hour of submitting the review form, someone called me and when i explained why i had put it on, and not to worry im sure my hubbie would get it on when he got back, he insisted on sending someone out to help me. He said someone would be in touch with me next week. However only the next day, Saturday, someone rang me and said if i was free they could be there within 45 minutes. The guy came out, he fixed in, and when he saw that i hadn't put the legs on the corner bit or removed the sliders from the 2 other bits, he kindly said he would help me with those as well (the lounge is huge and heavy!). So my gorgeous new lounge is now fully put together and I absolutely love it! its soo comfortable i've nodded off to sleep quite a few times on it. So Super Amart - you have made me a customer for life - I am so impressed with your after sale service, I absolutely had to write this review. Thank you!

Damaged and Unprepared Goods – Absolutely horrible. Went to pick up a sofa (with fabric protector), coffee table, and entertainment unit that we spent nearly $2000 on. My partner waited at the warehouse for FORTY MINUTES before anything was brought to his vehicle. Found out then that the sofa didn't even have the fabric protector spray on it. and was handled well by the manager on duty at the time. They agreed to spray it and deliver to us 2 days later. That was great. If it ended there, my rating would be a 4 now.

HOWEVER when we unloaded and unpacked the $700 entertainment unit, the right door wasn't even on properly! It's on an angle and doesn't close because the magnets are not able to line up. The screws were also put in on an angle on the left door and have already chipped away at the wood causing noticeable damage.

As I rang the next morning (as it was after hours at this point), the Manager on duty was horrible! She barely seemed to care and said 'either take pictures and get a discount or we will send a new one later'. THE DOOR DOESN'T CLOSE PROPERLY! I spend $700 on a product I was exited for and I expect to get a quality product in return! I told her I wanted a new one sent and she said the earliest date would be 02.07.16. That is 10 days after the original day we wanted it. She somewhat dismissed me and seemed to just want to get me off the phone. Very upset with where I chose to spend my money.

New North Lakes Store – We have been into the new North Lakes store twice to buy new furniture. Both times with cash and both times spending a substantial amount (the first time $3,000 and the second time $9,000). When asking for a deal for buying multiple items, paying cash were told they could not offer any discount as they were not making any profit at all on those… Read more

items. Really? No profit at all on $9,000 worth of furniture? They couldn't throw in some cushions, or sheets, or a coffee table or free delivery. We walked out both times and will now be shopping elsewhere. Disappointing as we had picked out all the furniture and would have purchased there and then had it not been for that.
