bad quality produts
bad quality products. I bought a suite 8 months ago. Chairs start broken and store do not even agree to change their bad products . they do not even care for their customers. selling bad products. Highly dissatisfied
How did this get passed quality control!!!! Seriously??!!
Just bought the Mya tall chest from the Ballarat store at the VIP night. This item was in absolute shambles. The tracks weren't even hammered in place, neither were numerous support beams. This is absolutely ridiculous. I would definitely not call this "quality guaranteed". It looks like some highschool kid has had a crack at it and amart thought meh it'll do. Whilst the staff at Ballarat were very professional and willing to pick it up it has been most inconvenient as I'll still have to go instore to claim my refund. I am highly disappointed and will never be buying from amart again.
Good for what you pay
We ordered 2 set of couches for our new home. One leather and one fabric along with a rug. The whole process was smooth at super a mart Wendouree. They helped us with interest free payment options very quickly. The delivery of product was exactly on the advised date and time. Good quality products and very easy to install as well.

Notification of arrival of purchase was poor.
An email not a personal phone call stating that furniture was available for delivery was sent.
when I called to advise delivery date, was informed that it was not available for delivery and a future date must be organized (I organized an alternate date).
The delivery was two hours late before I inquired about delivery time frame.
After multiple phone calls to costumer service and response of I will call you back in 5 minutes (I did not receive a call back).
Failure to respond
Poor service, failure to deliver when promised, paid in advance, poor customer relations, unable to rate due to poor service, would not buy from this store again, should have read other reviews i would have spent elsewhere, we learn from our mistakes.

on Tuesday the 7th of April i went to Super amart Ballarat and brought the summit dining table and a black augestine couch so spent alot of money there i live 45 minutes away from the shop and when i got i hope i soon released there were no bolts to put my chairs together calling them and them sending out the bolts that were ment to be express posted that Tuesday the 7th to only get them today and to open it and see they sent me all the rong bolts. i brought the table for a event that i cant even hold not because guess arent going to want to o...n the floor to eat there tea. So thanks super amart for making sure all my parts are in the box that i paid alot of money for. i guess ill have to wait another 8 days to get the RIGHT BOLTS so i can eat at my new table that i dont even want as its been so much hassle. way to treat a costumer that spent nearly $3000 dollars in your shop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3 months and waiting
November 8th I ordered and payed in full for a desk and bookcase advertised on sale in a catalogue from the ballarat store, that's 3 months ago now considering the invoice said 6 to 8 weeks I'm not happy... after receiving a phonecall last week, the first call I have received and after going into the store on more than a couple occasions, being told it's not far away try next week. I've now been told it won't be available till mid march... Which will make it 4 months... This is beyond ridiculous I'm failing to comprehend how or why this would ever be possible.
Issues were resolved with ease!
I bought a 3 PC lounge set 2.5 yrs ago but had issues with the stitching coming undone (it was a cheap suite so I should have expected it a bit) but I recently used my warranty as the support buckled in the centre, and became unbearable! Amart sent the lounge doc out, who promptly fixed the support for me, but took photos for amart to review the pulling ripped stitches, as they were getting bad. Went in today and spoke to David, store manager, and team. Within minutes of speaking to then, I was given a 100% credit back on our lounge towards a s...uite of my choice :) Expecting my new lounge Tuesday! So happy with the outcome. And I'm glad I got the lounge doc warranty and scotch guard. Really just shows that you never think you'll need it... Until you REALLY need it!
Terrible Service and delivery
Placed a bed and mattress on layby in Ded 2014 till Feb and was told if I make the full payment early I will receive the goods early, made the full payment 6/01/15 and was told I will be getting the delivery in the next 2 weeks, didn't receive any thing gave them a call and was given 2 more weeks and nothing came or receive a phone call to apologise for the delay atleast ( courtesy) . Went into the store in Ballarat and spoke to the store manager who told me to wait a week and a half to 2weeks from all these other delays I've been getting whic...h really ridiculous, it's been a month now waiting for items that I have fully paid for. What annoyed me was, I was even given an option to cancel the purchase and I only have to $50, which was kinda stupid to me for them to even say that. Clearly that is really really BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Had they told me that even if I make the payment early I won't get the items till Feb wasn't going to bother even making the full payment early or let alone purchasing the items because I need the stuff urgently tired of sleeping on a pumped up mattress like I can't afford a bed. Is the bed and mattress still being made in China or what cause really if it was in Melbourne as I'm always being told, I shuld he arrived by now as I type.
My brother and I went to Ballarat super a mart to purchase 3 bar stools (we thought a 10 min job)we looked at stools for 20 min found the ones we liked then waited for service ...while waiting saw a young sales girl speak to almost every customer in the store except us!! After a while we noticed a sales person doing nothing so approached him asked are u busy mate he said no and I said well the service is terrible here isn't it ? He just smiled..I said can u help us I only want 3 bar stools and I have chosen them he said we can't sell anything ...today because last night our computers were stolen ha ha..how funny is that and how smart are these bright sparks? I wasted almost an hour !!! Why not let customers know this so they they are not wasting their time? Why even open the store? Never again!!!! Went around the corner to fantastic furniture had my stools in 15 min and the girl was sorry for the delay this is now my store of choice..
Nice Product, Poor Qouting
Purchased a few items from this company. Firstly we bought a 5 piece outdoor setting from the Ballarat store. Service and product were fantastic. We were qouted 2 weeks, which turned into 6 before we received our goods. Have recently (3 weeks ago) ordered some bunks from the store in Brimbank, again advised 2 weeks. Rang a couple of days ago to find they are still a couple of weeks away......
Happy with the service, but wish the staff would be more realistic with qouting time frames....
