ordered the correct one as the invoice noticed that; however, we’ve received a left hand side lounge, so we’ve called Amart last month. The first day we called Amart, they keep passing us to other departments and ask us how do we know they’ve sent us the wrong side; we explained the arm rest is in the wrong side, and we’ve continued for this for about an hour of keep waiting, explaining and passed to other departments. We have been doing the same thing one in two days for around 1 month. Every time they said they will give us call within the same day, but we never received anything from them which make us disappointed. Then we are connected to the supervisor finally after 1 month. Moreover, he confirmed us there’s a in stock sofa which can exchange for us; 2 days later, we called them because they never confirm with us, we found out we actually needed to wait for another 3 months for it. That’s is so ridiculous, we’ve been waiting for 3 months at first, then 1 months complaining for the exchange, finally have to wait another 3 months? What the heck Amart?
Really happy – I went for EOFY sales. I received a quote for a 3 piece learher lounge then s different quote for the same suite. But after I firmly advised the previous quote everyone ran around until it was a done deal. Overall a good experience. Show details

Can’t wait to help you, then you hit them with “yeah I got some store credit” and before you can finish they realise no commission coming their way their attitude changes and they pretty much leave you to fend for yourself.
But I digress, we picked up a nice looking piece of furniture take it home all excited as this will look simply amazing in my sons bedroom. Open the box, struggling to contain my excitement and start building. But wait what’s happened, oh they forgot to drill the holes for the it to actually be made. I laughed, my wife laughed then the kids all joined in, I mean it’s like an Adam Sandler film (post becoming friends with Kevin James and totally ruining his career and it’s totally depressing watching what his become) so I call up and explain what the situation is and how I used store credit due to one thing totally stuffing up to get something else that is unable to be built. Then the young lady on the other end of the phone returns serve with “well you could just drill the holes” I’m thinking you’re right, you’re 100% right how dare I call up and complain that your manufacturing department/quality control completely dropped the ball in drilling a hole and I, with no machines or carpentry experience, should just drill a hole. But I reluctantly declined and requested a professional come in drill the hole and build the drawers. After waiting two days he came and did his job and we all lived happily ever after. But then a shock twist 3 months later it falls apart, I swear you couldn’t make this stuff up! The piece of furniture purchased using store credit due to a previous piece of furniture breaking has now broken. Maybe my house is hunted by ghosts who dislike Amart furniture and destroy it while we sleep at night. So I called my old make Peter Venkman and asked him. He was busy stopping the keymaster of gozer but said I’m crazy there’s no ghosts in my house Amarts furniture is cheaply made and in some cases not even completely made and breaks down.
I then email back and explain our heartbreaking story and now once again have store credit. You’d think we’d get an apology and even a “hey you’ve purchased a bunch of stuff that obviously keeps breaking so instead of making you continue this lovely circle dance and forcing you to purchase another one of our products we’ll just give you a full refund” but alas no we are stuck with another store credit to the lemon store.
In summary if you enjoy being warmly greeted by people clearly only after the commission, furniture that looks like an Instagram model ( great looking, great lighting and use of filter but when you take her home you realise it’s not as great as it seemed and totally messed up) and always breaking and your two favourite words in the whole entire world are store credit then totally shop and Amart, if want quality lasting furniture I would highly recommend somewhere else. Maybe start someplace higher up you know like the reject shop.

contacted the store and he said the same thing had happened and to come in and chose a new table. Despite all the hassle 2 cut feet a dog chewing glass and many summer days in the garden missed out on I was happy just to settle. I went in to the Springvale store to chose a table but was informed that all the tables were more expensive and I would have to pay the difference (at least another $150) even for the exact same table just under another name. The store manager even told me it was the same but had been tested to sustain higher temperatures. Yet I would still have to pay the 150 difference. deemed faulty by Super Amart within 2 months. It was replaced a further two times within the next 3 months, after developing the same fault, (the frame timbers are of extremely low quality, they break, are not construction grade, as they are full of knotholes, and the padding moves away from the support areas).
Finally, he received store credit and purchased another different suite, only to have it fail - AGAIN!
When we assembled this unit after receiving it, I was astounded to see that the centre section was made of very thin plywood, and held together with staples - many of which did no work as they were not seated correctly in the wood. Super Amart even had the affront to attempt delivery charges on the replacement items as well!
To their credit, my son HAS received a full refund, and is now looking elsewhere, but how they can justify selling such rubbish, and I'll say it again, RUBBISH - is simply beyond belief!
I won't even begin to discuss the two beds he also bought at Super Amart - both of which have broken within 6 months of purchase. Appearance of quality. Appearances CAN be decieving!!

Worst retailer to date! – Never again will we ever buy from Super A Mart again. We ordered 12 pieces of furniture from the Springvale store and the sales person promised that they would deliver items 6 weeks after sale. I called a week prior to make sure that delivery, and they said yes. But come the delivery date – no one turned up. We got half of the furniture 3 weeks… Read more

And to get these items I would have made at least 20 phone calls to the store and warehouse and spoken to numerous people including managers. The dining table and buffet was damaged and the replacement we received for these items were ALSO damaged. These were replaced for the 3rd time last week!! These too have minor damages but I really can’t be bothered waiting for another delivery from them. They would promise a date a time of delivery and didn’t rock up on two Saturdays where me and my husband would cancel plans waiting for the delivery. They would give you a delivery time and would rock up 3 hours prior saying something got cancelled. So from wherever you are, you have to rush back home for the delivery. Thanks to this store, we had to cancel our housewarming party and caused a lot of grief with having no furniture for 6 or more weeks after we moved into our new house.
I am done with this store and I am telling everyone I know not to step into this store ever again.
