Very poor customer service
Very unhelpful staff. This combined with whole Optus debacle is the finish for me. Once I have used up my data I will be gone.

Not so Amaysim
Was a customer for long enough to accrue 1.5Tb data. Credit card was locked due to fraud, missed a payment, didn't get notified of cancelled phone service till after customer centre had closed. No phone, emergency bushfire zone, trying to evacuate, notify family, no data, no phone. When I finally got thru to customer service , they cancelled my accrued data, gave me $10 credit for 2days to sort everything out. I wasn't worth anything as a long term customer. Goodbye Amaysim, we're thru.

Great Service, very user friendly
Amaysim offers great deals and is easy to contact if there are any questions. Information on their site is understandable and in-depth. Services offered are fantastic and customer satisfaction seems to be at the forefront. My network coverage is great on the whole, only one instance of outage and Amaysim compensated for that with extra megabites. Data downloads are perfect.

Good start up rates, but regular ongoing price increases.
Plans keep changing and prices seem to increase every 2-3 months. Started on a $99 plan for 12 months but now that plan is now effectively $220! Also the limited free data offered when the Optus network went down for a day is a total joke. Nearly everyone has plenty of data prepaid on their existing plans - offering extra data limited for use in only one month is pretty much useless! Thanks for nothing!

Working well and affordable
I have used Amaysim for decades and it has worked well for me. Recently, I paid monthly for the Internet, including free texts and calls in Australia. The Internet is stable most of the time, and that helps a lot in meeting and studying.

Great network
My Amaysim phone plan is 30gb for $30 a month. The great thing is Amaysim reward you for being a good customer. I now have 45gb still only paying $30.00. Every now and the they will give extra for a month. My service has never dropped out over the 4 years I have been with Amaysim. I would recommend them as their network is very reliable.

No notice of 'planned' upgrades/outages and no refund for 0.1 mbps speed data that costs $50 per month
Terrible speeds and terrible service
Have stopped 2 ($80 per month) of my subscriptions with this company and will be looking elsewhere for phone sim plans!
Cannot change default greeting
I called amaysim to change my default greeting and the rep tried everything and said to get a new sim. I got a new sim and recorded my new voicemail message but still it is defaulting to the old one.

Genuinely amazing.
I have been on the same plan since 2019 and the same monthly rate. In that time, my plan has increased to a whopping 18gb/month + unlimited rollover + regular free chunks of data.
It is safe to say they have earned a loyal customer.

what is country overage like
Hi, can I use Amaysim in Indonesia? Does it work with Inbound + outbound SMS? Does it also support wifi calling? At the moment I can do all of the above (except outbound SMS) with Telstra, without purchasing international roaming.
