Great Customer Service

Great customer service by their team. I stuffed up during the port-in to Kogan Mobile and used wrong details and applied the Kogan Plan voucher incorrectly.

Luckily, customer service was able to issue a new e-sim and voucher code to me so I can try again with the correct details.

I have used Vodafone network in the past and had no issue so hopefully my experience with Kogan will be similar :) Show details

Excellent customer service.
Excellent network coverage.
I can't remember any dropouts and data download speeds are just as satisfactory.

Deceptive practices

automatic recharge for small 365 flex went through $179.00. However when I looked at website it is priced at $120. Customer service said I need to go to web site, purchase the $120 voucher then call back and arrange a refund for $179.90. [Content Removed]. Won't be recharging again Show details

spoke to candice on the phone to activate the sim. Great staff. quick and efficient.
Putting the customer first - just brilliant support .Love the transparency .
The business is in the right direction .

Its service is very very bad

I ordered a pre-paid sim card with extra $5 for 24-hour delivery in New Zealand on 29th of January 2024 when I was in Wellington and was supposed to have it on 30th. However I ended up with nothing even when I left Wellington on 2nd of February. The worst thing is that there is no tracking number to follow up and no contact number for checking except for an online form on Kogan website. However, there was no response at all even after I repeatedly completed the form requesting the status.

Even the hotel reception staff suggested I could be using a fake website.

After I came back to Sydney on 6th of February, I noticed the sim card was delivered to Wellington on 5th Feb which is useless and meaningless to me. Show details

No customer service at all

They sold mobile plan vouchers, the voucher is invalid. And noone is there to answer.
My service got disconnected.
Wait for hours on line for multiples days. Emailed their support centre. Still no response.

A Helpful Customer Service Representative

I waited for around 55mins to get the customer service people to answer my call. Raymond helped me out to sort my phone that does not allow wi-fi calling, and he co-ordinated the refund process as I paid a 365 plan, but I just used about 2 weeks. Leaving Kogan is sad, but Raymond saved me the money, if I change my phone in the future, I will join Kogan again. Show details

A Great Customer Service Representative

I stuffed up and let my prepaid mobile voucher expire.
On calling Kogan they extended the date without any questions, and were happy to do so.
CS guy was understanding, kind and very helpful.
The only gripe would be the 55mins on hold, but I didn't mind as it was my stuff up and once I had connected with him, I was only on the phone for a couple of minutes.

Worst Customer Service on the Planet

Cannot upgrade plan from monthly to yearly online. Must be done manually by Kogan Mobile Operator.
How absurd.
Current plan has expired.
Tried phone and waited 30 min and 40 min respectively - no answer.
Now trying phone (as I write) for THIRD TIME and have waited 20 min so far.
Wrote twice to Kogan Customer Care - sent two emails (with voucher number) - no response.
I run a business on this number - Kogan Mobile know this - but they simply dont care.
You're better off elsewhere. Show details

Horrible service - nightmare

I have purchased 1 yr prepaid sim & it’s a disgrace to sim service. Don’t expect connectivity in regional Victoria. Even in certain corner of the house in point cook - no service. No customer care.
If you are oversea & Kogan mess up your service , you are [Content Removed]. Kogan didn’t Ported my number properly & I was stuck for 10 days

Can I link Apple Watch with kogan sim so I can use even when phone is turned off phone asks for 4 digit code, Vodafone , pretty sure kogan uses Vodafone but when I rang them they said contact Kogan and they say kogan doesn’t work with smart watches
