Went to Amber Hornsby to purchase some tiles and pavers for our outdoor pool area. Couldn’t have been happier with the advice, price and prompt delivery. Very rare to have such a good experience these days.

tiles delivery driver saying they left the tiles on our medium strip out front of our house because there were cars in the driveway. We had 0 warning that they were coming. I rang Amber Tiles and spoke to the Showroom manager - Andrew - and asked for the driver to comeback and move the tiles, after we move our cars, in response he chuckled and flat out said no. No amount of arguing would sway him. We now have over $3000 of tiles sitting on the curbside just waiting to be stolen. The boxes of tiles apparently weigh 30 kilos each and my wife and I are both in our late 50s with bad backs. We live on a steep Incline, so not looking forward to lugging these up a hill tonight after work, assuming they haven't been stolen in the meantime. Avoid Amber Tiles at all costs. Very unprofessional!

Needed a small amount of tiles. Ordered and paid on the Saturday, told they would arrive early in the following week and they would ring when they arrived. they had not deliveries that week (in the same conversation), finally confirmed they were not on the delivery, no reasons. Finally got the tiled a week later than promised, badly pack so broken tiles.

mine, with no indication that these orders will be fulfilled. I placed an order through the Newcastle store after being directed there by Amber Tiles’ official website, trusting that I was dealing with a reputable brand.

When I reached out to both the franchisee and Amber Tiles Pty Ltd for support, I was met with silence from the former and indifference from the latter. Amber Tiles Pty Ltd has refused to take responsibility, even though their branding and website led me to the Newcastle store. Their only offer was for me to pay again for the same product — essentially asking me to double my payment — or accept that it’s “not their problem.”

I’ve since discovered that many others are in the same position, with complaints surfacing about misleading practices, poor customer service, and a lack of accountability across other Amber Tiles stores. This is not just a local issue — it’s a systemic failure that deserves exposure.

something else. I didn't like any others so chose to get a refund. I then had to go into the showroom to receive my money back (not sure why this could not be done over the phone or some other way). I had paid by credit card and did not get the surcharge back during the refund. Although it was Amber Tiles fault, I lost out because I had paid by credit card, does not make sense. The lady behind the counter organizing the refunds reply was 'well that's not our fault'. Lovely customer service-not!. Will never shop there again or recommend Amber Tiles. (Ended up going online, finding the same tile I had ordered and Amber could not source. Delivery from Brisbane was $50 cheaper than Amber was going to charge and tile was $20 cheaper per square meter).

Delivery fee for picking up – Good range of products and helpful staff. However, the reason for a 3-star rating is that been a wholesaler of a product, You would think that there would be stock at the location, so when you decide to not pay a $275 delivery fee and opt for store "pickup," you don't get charged a $45 delivery fee as they need to deliver to the store from Sydney. Show details

Absolutely dreadful company, made promises to get our business and have not delivered on their promises and have yet to make good on their request to find out and return our calls. times in the past 3 weeks, every time they state they will find out a time for delivery and will call me back. They have not yet called me even once.

We were going to go with a different supplier however they promised they would deliver as and when required. Do not believe their promises.

Amber - Disappointing Experience – We recently bought outdoor pavers (Product Code = ). When the pavers were delivered, we noticed that the colour/shade was so different to what was on display. Repeat customer going back for more – I used Amber Kotara 4 yrs ago for travertine pavers when I built my house. Based on my good experience then, and based on the product they have supplied performing well over these years, I have just gone back to them for more travertine for my swimming pool project - once again I had a great experience from Luke and team this time around.

Excellent service – Amber- metford. We ordered our ensuite and powder room tiles through Heidi at metford. She made this process very easy for us. She helped with the measurements and the final decision of selecting. Nothing was an issue. Amber stored our tiles for 4 months as we weren’t quite ready for them and allowed us to pay them off. design principals and compliance requirements was second to none. She was so patient despite some tricky requirements, and didn't stop searching for options until we were 100% certain. We arrived hoping to lock in tiles, but left having ordered every single item for two bathrooms and laundry, including all laundry cabinetry and it's all going to be amazing!
