Hi, we have the Ambiano Professional Food Processor that we purchased from Aldi some 2 years plus ago. Model IA 1226 1000w . Very happy with it. We hadnt used it for some 6 months or so and unfortunately when going to use it just recently , for some reason ,we got power to it but nothing from the motor after locking bowl and lid on . ( it wont work at all). Not sure why? Any help would be great. Hate to toss it out, with all the accessories etc we have to it. Thanks Scott
Hi Scott, I've got the same model and a couple of times, same has happened to me and I use it regularly. What I've found is, even though it looks all correctly assembled, it's simply been a matter of the bowl component isn't quite in olace so the machine won't start - ie must be a safety mechanism. So, simply 3 things: 1. Remove the lid 2. Then, turn the handle and remove bowl 3. Then, place the bowl back on - and the key us - pull it towards you to "click it" back in. *** You will know the bowl is properly on as you will feel and hear it click in.
Put the lid back on. Should be good to go.
TIP: same with lid. Rather than just put it in place, pull it towards you so you know it gas locked in

I buy the food processor from aldi there is one issues coming now rotating switch not working Properly push 2 3 tlme hardly the it rotating please solve the issues

Shuraia K. I have contacted After Sales Support on 1300 777 137 and ordered a replacement spindle which will probably arrive by the end of the week. You just need to quote your model number. Staff at After Sales Support are really helpful and nice... you should be able to get your replacement spindle without issue. Good luck!! EssBee

What a load of rubbish. Will not even such crusty bread for bread crumbs. The blade doesn’t stay in place so it will not even chop basil for pesto. Pity bought it 8 months ago but it worked only once and now have to thrasher all indrediences into an other bowl and use my hand held bmix. Why are you selling such a crapp?

I have lost the black top that holds the mixing blade in place, it goes over the central black piece ( hope this makes sense). Would it be available please.

It is usually alpha-numeric (numbers and letters). It should be on the back or bottom of the unit, as well as on the front cover of the instruction manual.

Where can I access the manual for this food processor?, I have lost mine. I am trying to operate the blender part of the processor but cannot seem to remember what buttons are pressed on it to operate. The pictures of the buttons aren't too descriptive, I have tried them all, it's either broken or I am not doing something correctly. Please Helpies? :)
