Enjoyable experience.

I didn’t encounter any problems. All the bookings and arrangements went ahead as planned.
Staff were excellent. Would definitely use the site again and recommend to friends. Our hotel was exactly as described and no hidden costs.

We enjoyed a lovely experience

I did not encounter any unexpected or additional fees after I made the booking;
I booked one week's accommodation at Kirkton Park Motel Hunter Valley, the experience was great except the steps on entering the pool and spa were too steep and made it difficult to get out.
I didn't try to adjust or cancel my booking.

Great

When we tried to book the hotel they wanted a minimum 3 night booking. We were able to book the 1 night we wanted at a good price including breakfast. There were no issues when we arrived at the hotel and we would use Amoma again.

Great follow up after problems with booking process

We booked a night at the Travelodge in Pattaya as Amoma were giving the best rate. The booking had quite a bit of difficulty getting through as the system did not seem to want to acknowledge our credit card.
Amoma representatives persevered with emails and follow up phone call until the problem was solved. They were always polite, easy to understand and in multiple languages, and did what they said they would do.
Despite the initial glitches I would definitely recommend over their hotel booking competitors.

Excellent

There was no additional fees after making my booking at a very good rate. I booked into the Hilton at Hua Hin and whilst making my booking I received an even better price, which included Breakfast. I had no reason the adjust or cancel this booking. Extremely happy with this until now unknown website to me.

Easy and cheap

Hotel couldn't match price

Due to circumstances we needed to change hotels, so found a good price for a hotel down the road via Amoma and asked at the front desk if they could do better if we booked direct. They couldn't come close to matching the Amoma price, so we sat in their reception area while we booked and paid on-line for a 4 night stay, and then checked in straightaway!

I would not recommend to anybody

I did not intentionally go out of my way to book a hotel room through AMOMA, but I was directed to it through a different travel site where I was convinced it was safe and reliable. When I showed my voucher to the hotel upon arrival to check in that AMOMA had emailed me, they did not have any record of my name in their system. The strange thing was that the reference number AMOMA supplied me with was in the hotels system, but under a different name from a different person who stayed at the hotel a year prior. The hotel did not have any rooms left to book, nor did any hotel nearby. This was obviously a huge damper on me and my partners weekend getaway. Thank goodness the person at the front desk was extremely helpful and warned me to NEVER book through 3rd party sites, especially AMOMA, as they have never heard of them nor were they familiar with ever doing business them. While AMOMA did refund me the money they charged me for the room (which I wasn't convinced would ever even happen) it was quite the process to get it done. I called and called and was on hold for awhile each time, without anybody ever answering. I emailed somebody about my terrible experience through their site and about getting a refund. I currently have about 10 different emails in response from them from about 8 different people. And only one person out of all these supposed members from this company said "sincere apologies for the inconvenience". Nobody could even give me a straight answer, and I fear that if I didn't reach out in an email, I would have NEVER received my refund. I even used their online chat tool to get a hold of somebody and they just kept saying the same thing, "note that I cannot provide you with an answer as your case was treated by another department." I wasn't even aware it was being treated at all. It was a big let down on an otherwise good trip. I just believe their site to be a one big [Word Removed] and I honestly feel stupid for having fell victim to it. They even went as far as to REPORT my review on a website as "Inappropriate Content" to have it taken down. Please don't make the same mistake I did...

Convenience & customer service

For the sake of environmental issues our towel which were hung up still got changed .I don't wash my towels at home everyda, so don't expect this to be done when away on holidays.

Great booking company offering excellent rates

Great booking experience however we have never been charged an international fee before.
We booked a King single room at the Rendevous Hotel in Scarborough W.A.
The room was magnificent - comfortable and great views.

I was subject to credit fraud from your website! I had to organise other ways of funding my travel at short notice

Apart from the credit fraud, booking was straight forward. I would urge AMOMA to make their websites more secure. Unfortunately this experience has left me so worried, I will think twice before I use AMOMA again

Stay Away From Amoma!

This site claims that they do not pay the hotels for your booking but instead do this through a 3rd party. When I booked my accommodation in New York the full amount was taken from my account at the time of booking. 4 months later when departing my accommodation, my credit card is again charged by the hotel as they had not received the payment from AMOMA. Communication from customer service is terrible all you get is the same automated responses and I am now still out of pocket over $2500! Don't risk it for the cheap deals!

The booking was easy

Making the booking was easy however I think the site should check the places they have advertised to ensure that the photos of rooms etc are accurately depicted. The photos advertised looked very nice however when we got to the place it was a very different story.

Easy to book, but double check your dates.

We did need to alter dates after the fact, and Amoma were very helpful in every way. Spoke to a man who did his very best to work through issue.

Clean, comfortable and great location

Lovely, bright room. Very clean and right in the heart of the shopping strip. The shower could have done with a bit more pressure but everything else was spot on.

I looked into this matter and learned that the reservation was indeed canceled as per your request and that a cancellation confirmation was sent to the email address you used to make the reservation. The refund has been processed on the 11th of February to the account of the credit card you used to paid the booking. Depending on your bank's delays the amount is visible in your account in 3 to 10 business days. Best regards, Eva
