Tried to buy somethings online from their store and spent ages trying to buy as a guest as i didn’t want an account stupidly hard wouldn’t accept my phone number said incorrect address but no place to fix it and address was correct so hard I gave up logged onto Amazon bought the same thing in seconds , if you want ppl to buy your products make your online site easier to buy with as it sucks .

the customer service finally decided to issue a return and replacement order (by email). However, I went to 3 different stores around the Northern Beaches in Sydney, where the managers refused to take the old RTT, and neither would give me a replacement. (The manager at the Warringah Mall store couldn't help as they don't have this tent for sale there, the manager from Belrose was rude and unprofessional, and the one from Chatswood just completely ignored me)

Appalling quality control. I ordered shoes for my Husband for Christmas and the security tag was still attached. I live in rural New South Wales and it will be a 4 1/2 hour return trip to visit a physical store to have tag removed. assist me financially as this was my husband‘s Christmas gift. The only option was to Travel four and a half hours to fix their mistake, or return the item and have nothing to give to him for Christmas, or the $30 partial refund. Anaconda management should value their clients and not be so dismissive of their circumstance. A very poor outcome.
Poorly trained staff at stores, slow customer service centrally. Repeated attempts to track and follow up an overdue order with promises of a response that never happens. When things go wrong, you are better off ringing the bank and declining the transaction then actually getting someone in customer service.
Bought a Dune gazebo & a bunch of walls & hub etc - parts were missing and the guy ropes we're frayed. The lack of interest or support is concerning. Feels like this is a junk shop with a high price. Terrible customer service. Logged 3 tickets to ask the status of a package. Tracking showed the package was "ready for pickup" for more than a week. Their only reply was that they were happy to have received my request. Only after physically going to an Anaconda shop and escalating it there was the package shipped the next day. Customer service replied 7(!) days later that the package had been shipped... Thanks for nothing.

He also said he would call the next day but didn't. one week later i went to the store one half hours drive away and spoke to a manager Darwin who ok'd a refund, that was yesterday 30th Jan 2026 .I saw the money go into my account and the balance reflected that. but one day later the money is gone and there's no sign it was every deposited other the phone notification i recieved. I spoke to my bank and they say that Anaconda has cancelled the refund and somehow removed all trace of it ever happening.

Do not purchase from them, they have extremely terrible customer service and their delivery company Aramax has only an offshore help centre and Ananconda don’t help you.

return them as unsuitable on the 3rd January. I have never been spoken to as rudely as I was by the manageress at this store. She told me I could not return them as they were ‘well worn’. When I pointed out that they were only 3 or 4 days old, and even if they had been worn for 24 hours a day it was not possible for a $200 pair of sandals to be ‘well worn’ in that time, she got really angry and asked me to leave the store and in future leave my bad attitude outside! Terrible customer service - nearly as bad as Telstra. Avoid unless it's a bargain - you get what you pay for. Upon trying to return the item (even though it is in the store still - uncollected). Anaconda has directed me to drive 45 minutes (to the store), collect the item (even though I don't want it), pay for postage and wait for the refund. Ridiculous.

Advised I don't have transport and that I had a major operation back in August, had my hip replaced, well reconstructed and my leg lengthened by 1.25 cms. So I can't physically bring it in. They then sent an email with details on 2 repair kits. I asked if there was a charge and The Oztrail Deluxe Tent Repair Kit is currently priced at $15.99, and the FixATent Deluxe Tent Repair Kit (Orange) is available for $69.99. So I replied stating under the Australian Consumer Law, as a solution, a seller can offer a repair kit free of charge which is a form of repair. And reiterated what I had stated earlier, that I didn't want to return it, nor could I bring it in for repair as I have no transportation, that I am also recovering from a major operation. So that limits my movements. That I was more than happy to accept a repair kit, The Oztrail Deluxe Tent Repair Kit. The $15.99 one. They replied to bring the tent to one of their stores, with proof of purchase so the tent can be assessed. Now this was in a chain of emails, so it's not like if a new customer service agent responded they wouldn't be aware of my situation, if they had bothered to read my replies that is. For the cost of $15.99 plus postage, they throw customer service, not to mention decency, out the window for profit. They had no qualms offering the repair kit for the price but not as a solution for a faulty item under warranty, which isn't even 2 months old.

Their online store continually crashes. It will repeatedly show the exact same page over and over even though you are clicking the next page arrow. You can't go back a page because it will crash. Looks like I'll be doing some Christmas shopping elsewhere.
