bait add said all fishing shirts in big headline but in very small print leaves out some shirts would not spend my money on anything in there shops after that
Wrong address written...
Ordered a maxtrax slide anaconda wrote the wrong address so Australia post returned to sender. After numerous calls to anaconda and Australia post the package has now been redirected from WA to Tasmania. I paid for this item a month ago and it still hasn't arrived with zero communication. I then wrote a review to anaconda as per my delivery - they didn't like it and have refused to publish it.
I bought a pair of Mangrove Jack sunglasses at Anaconda last year. Within a few months they started delaminating. Rang the store I bought them from, expecting a replacement. (I had kept the receipt). Was told to ring the manufacturer! They then couldn't give me that phone number, so he said Google it! I stayed on the phone until he then gave me the number for Bright Eyes (another store). I then pointed out his store was the one that supplied them and relevant ACL protection and warranty length. He then said there is a lot of parts to ACL and then directed me to the Bright Eyes website. No resolution! Would hate to have to make a claim over an expensive item.

Brought a dometic cf50 fridge within 4 days of use on trip it failed and had to be used in emergency mode.
Anaconda Store attitude is contact manufacture as not our problem.
We just Mark up prices n sell them.

Poor service false advertising
Mountain bike advertised on their site to come with Shimano shifters, levers and derailleurs (photos and technical specs on website) . Bought online, went with click and collect. Got it home, opened up the box and saw that all the fittings supplied were not Shimano, but a cheaper brand. Called customer service online and called the store all they had was excuses and not a satisfactory outcome ‘that’s the way they come from the factory, we don’t open the boxes, you have to bring it back and we will have to assess the bike before we can do anythi...ng, I can’t do it, you have to wait for the manager’. They stalled on committing to a refund or replacement as advertised and the tone was abrupt and defensive. Unpleasant experience, more trouble than it was worth in my opinion, cannot recommend.

Click and collect joke
I purchased a $1699 duel zone fridge on sale for $499 through click and collect.
I was so excited to get my score but after 24 hours had not received an email to collect it.
The had taken the funds out of my account and I had a order number.
As I had not Got the email to collect I rang them only to be told the transition had been canceled.
Why wasn’t I aware of this and have to chase it up myself.
3 days later still no email and still no return of funds.
The worst part is getting so excited just to be let down.
I will never shop with these guys again!

Saw 50% sale this weekend and took my family there to buy few snow gloves.
Firstly the staff weren't aware of the sale and moreover they didn't have those products in store. When showed one of the product to the store person, she says that she hasn't seen this item for 4 years now. How ridiculous it can be... seriously.
However, we tried many of the full priced gloves and ending up spending couple of hundred bucks to get snow gloves for our 4 member family.
The staff didn't even bother to address my issue and was totally reluctant to even give me a store discount. They were constantly saying "The stock is whatever we have got over here in display and we don't know about the sale". What kind of answer this can be?
Poor Quality Bikes

Purchased a 'Fluid, Expedition' Bike for $400 (claimed $599 for non members), store asked if I wanted it assembled for +$20, I said was happy to do this myself - bike was pre-assembled apart from front wheel, handlebars & seat. Put it together, first ride and the front derailer & rear derailer was clicking and scraping etc, Called store, "you need a service, as none of this is preset" was the reply (hidden cost if that's the case), long story short drive back to the store, got the service, still metal scraping and carrying on - staff were great, quality of the product however - absolute garbage, might as well have bought a $100 bike from KMart as same quality. Got ripped off for $400 bucks for sure, you have been warned!!.

Bike lost derail-or twice !! In 6 months. Can’t contact head office to speak to a manger !!!?? Spoke to ACCC they are going to get them to put contact details as spotlight group and direct head office number - NOT call centre in Fiji. Laugh now HR. I had to unfortunately speak to HR who clearly doesn’t shop at anaconda as they wouldn’t knowing the crap they’d have to clean up !!! They then laughed at me because I said state your number correctly on your website. I researched the number in LInkedIn. You get a Full call ce...ntre with Centrelink hold music for any complaints about stores, products or staff. First time came off within a week. Argued to get it replaced !!!?? Is this normal practice. Then get the second one (bike has issues in between this). My son is riding on a busy ride the derailor coles off again !!! Twice is 6 months near deatg experience, driver of car picks him up off road. These bikes are overpriced and need a good looking at. Spoke to ACCC regarding this. Our bike in for service too look at - I’m definitely not paying for this and it’s under warranty. Every day for a week patiently wait for a call - nahhh he’s not in ?? Not in !? 7 days. After that I call AGAIN manager gets on phone without a word says - ‘it’s stops with me’? Sorry ? Is this my father, footy coach what??? I Haven’t opened my mouth only to say hello. He starts yelling as I do blah blah. Beginning to get very heated section 54 of ACCC act read and money returned. These people are renowned in Geelong for the incompetence and disregard for customer complaints and repairs. Stops with ME! Don’t not buy anything ANYMORE from this store and do not by these defected FLUID bikes.
Anaconda has the worst customer service in australia
We recieved an anaconda gift voucher for $420, for my.husbands birthday. We have a reciept of purchase, with time, date and store. We were never able to use the gift card and told that there was nothing that they could do to help us. Even after calling the customer service they told us they unfotunantly they couldnt help us. They just spoke to us like we were idiots, which is particularly disappointing as we were looking forward to using this birthday gift. What an absolute waste of time. Do yourself a favour and never shop here!
Online Members Club Scam
I saw the fluid bolt ebike on special to online members so I signed up. The day after I tried to buy the bike at the member discount to find that the discount wouldn't come up so I called the help line. I was told that it must be a browser issue and that also Anaconda reserved the right to change offers at any time. I was suspicious about the tactics of this store so I began to research on consumer forums such as Whirlpool to find that other consumers have had exactly the same problem with the discount disappearing and being given various excuses on the help line. As a consumer you should be aware that the advertised discount may not exist. I contacted them online but got no response like the other consumers with this problem.
Terrible customer service
I bought a Dometic battery pack online, when i opened it the power lead was slightly damaged. I emailed Anaconda and got told to take it back to my local dealer. 2 days later the whole unit stopped working, took it to my local Anaconda where I just got told "we don't deal with returns" gave me a number of another guy that does warranty repairs. Not my problem guys, I bought it from you....that's your problem. Terrible service.....would not recommend.
Seems to be good stuff in the stores( when they have stock) but save yourself some heartache and avoid Online and or Click and Collect - I bought combo of 3 items...two sent by courier and the 3rd picked up in store

Oztrail fridge don’t waste your money
Bought a oztrail 45L 5 months ago nothing but problems. Constantly switching it’s self off told it was the plug which I replaced didn’t fix the problem, then the fridge would not turn on with both the ac or dc plug just died. I phoned the service dept and dropped it off to Camtec canning vale that was a month ago can’t get a response when it will be ready only communication 2 weeks ago. Parts have been ordered phoned anaconda today with my problem only to be told not there issue sort it out with oztrail they only warrant there goods for 28 days...no refunds or exchange and a very arrogant sales person it takes a lot to get my back up but this company managed it. I guess they are happy that once there products last 28 days they can wipe their hands and return business as for the fridge my son did tell me the man that buys cheap buys twice. Look around I’m sure there are companies with a bit more after sales service and a better product and not as arrogant as the sales person I spoke to today 1st review I have ever done but then again have never dealt with a company quite like this b/4 THAT JUST DONT CARE. Not telling you don’t buy a fridge from anaconda but as they say buyer beware after sales service is just good business isn’t it !!

Dont shop here. Very poor customer service & exchange policy.
Lacks customer service. Not helpful staff. Not able to excange without reciept. Call center useless in retrieving reciept on my club card. Expected me to wait instore 30mins plus for an email that not comming. All the excuses for a product thats new, untouched & could have easily been returned / exchanged.. anything! Back my second time trying to resolve this matter. Will never return. As others have said similar.. looks like a reoccurring theme. Do yourself a favour.. avoid.

Anaconda is one big SCAM...why haven't the authorities shut this place down. Advertising specials online which are out of stock and never come into stock. they try and bait you in with an attractive price that does not exist!

You sound like working for them ! and fair enough. As I was a happy member of Anaconda (I really liked the shop), they have a complete history of all my receipts. I haven't found the need to share my docket publicly ( not many do ), but I still have the 2016 invoice. Anaconda first told me that they found both receipt (2015 and 2016), then told me to prove that I bought shoes from them in 2016 as suddenly didn't have my 2016 invoices to able them to process my claim (I have their email proving this). I found my 2016 receipt, and I did send it, now they asked me to bring both pair of shoes, requesting that they both have to be the same size (I also have their email proving this), while the invoices clearly show that I have a 9.5 and 9 sizes shoes.....I am just getting the run around...
