Perfect Job.....Perfect – Andersons Flooring Hervey Bay did a perfect job on my floor. I couldn't be happier. I had a water leak that basically ruined my carpet, that really stunk. So I decided to rip it up and put in a new floor...a modern floor. I went and saw Andersons..the staff were exceptional. My partner removed all the furniture and ripped out the carpet. The concrete floor was cracked in sections and other parts had sunk. My partner...a tradie...said straight away the floor would have to be leveled. The lovely installer from andersons leveled the floor perfectly. It cost a little extra, but was worth every cent. The installer did a perfect job, and the floor has transformed our cosy little home. We love it....JO.....Thank You Andersons.
First photo after carpet rip up...carpet hid bad concrete. Second Photo finished....perfect and level.

terrible, does not stand behind their products. Avoid at all cost – Purchased what was supposed to be long lasting carpet and upgraded the underlay, within 6 months it was abnormally wearing. Andersens instead of fixing the problem duck shoved it to the carpet rep who in turn refused to stand by the product. I will never ever use Andersens carpets again. Do yourself a favour and spend your money elsewhere. OFT were notified.

the carpet does not require cleaning, what is needed is a decent product and decent service in the first place. You people are a disgrace, rude and refuse to stand by your products.
The carpet was NOT 14 months old and was report much earlier, in fact you people ignored the compliant for over 4 months and only passed it off to the manufacturer when I lodged a formal complaint with the office of fair trading. But do keep showing the buying public what a shonky outfit you are, I'm sure people will vote with their wallet as will I and I will ensure all I know are made aware to avoid dealing with you.
All you provide is projection onto the customer instead of rectifying the problem!!

Hi Peter, thank you for your review and feedback. In reference to your concerns of wear to the carpet in the walkway and entry points to all rooms; these are high traffic areas and will show more wear than unused areas. In our assessment of the carpet we had noted that it showed wear that was considered normal for this type of carpet that was 14 months old at the time of inspection, given the area's of concern and traffic it received. Understanding your request and dis-content with the assessment, on your behalf, we arranged for the carpet to be formally assessed by the manufacturer. I have included some excerpts from this report for your reference.
"The carpet you purchased is a lightweight polypropylene twist loop pile carpet. Areas of concentrated use will show more wear than areas used less frequently. Flattening or matting is a wear-induced characteristic that is seen as the merging together of carpet tufts to the stage where they may become less defined. Note that matting occurs in all carpets to some extent and is not considered a manufacturing defect. "
"There was no sign of abrasive wear. Most importantly a regular maintenance program is essential for carpet care, and that’s why we recommend the carpet is vacuumed regularly, at least once a week, with an upright beta action vacuum which is a proven method of successfully maintaining your carpet and have it professionally cleaned as required.
