Best phone in so many ways – I have switched back and forth from iPhone to a Sony and the iPhone X is so superior. It’s now over 2 years old but AppleCare let me get a refurb for $149 ! Like new again Show details

iphone use to be top of their game, now unethical – i use to have an older iPhone till they installed software to "slow" the phone down for performance reasons (by law is technically defined as hacking), so i was forced to upgrade to this phone now.. i have noticed every time a new phone is about to come out my phone becomes a little slower and more bugs, like i cannot open calculator or notes… Read more

anymore ever after restarting... recently all my data was corrupted and i was unable to retrieve anything due to apples now file back up system that's encrypted (which never use to be), and their customer support is SOOOOOO generic its a joke, i literally just got a "we will take a note and review it" aka no idea, don't care just buy a new iPhone... never heard anything from apple since... i use to really like iPhone but their business model has become too greedy and unethical, since they also made their new iPhone to only be able to be fixed if you take the phone to an apple store (even repaired with genuine apple parts).. TLDR: apple is greedy, and unethical... i will never buy another iPhone again, their product is past its best by.

Done Me Well – I made the move from the iPhone 6s+ to this for a few reasons but primarily because Touch ID almost never worked for me because my hands always get sweaty and the size was of issue for me. This phone was of interest to me because the size was in between something like a normal iPhone 6 to the + version while the former I felt was too small and the… Read more

+ too big. This phone has done me well, the camera is great, though the handling with taking pictures in the dark being not great at all, especially with what other competitors have shown nowadays.

Face ID is so easy to use, paired with the many features that utilises Face ID which make it even more great, such as notifications, what the message says won't be shown until you activate it with your face. The notch is not a bother at all and I always forget about it, and the OLED display is very nice to look at. The phone runs very smoothly, regarding bugginess, in its first few months I did see a bit of it, apps crashing, sometimes it would glitch and the phone would reboot but all of this is gone, but even when those things happened it was super minimal.

I don't like how easily it is to activate the screen though, it gets annoying. The battery is also deteriorating terribly, I used to be able to use this very frequently in a full day and it would still have like 50% battery and now it cannot anymore, but 'frequently' is when I have lots of downtime in a day and I resort to using my phone to cure boredom such as Instagram and such, while I luckily don't have to do often. Overall it's a fast and responsive phone, with handy features and I see myself happily using this for years to come.

Think carefully before you buy an iPhone X or later model – There are 2 types of iPhone X uses. Those who have dropped their phone (and lightened their wallet) and those that soon will. It took Apple years to get up to speed with larger screens on the iPhone and when they did, they literally made them as fragile as glass. Everybody drops their phone sometime and making it with materials this breakable… Read more

is ridiculous. When you drop it, it will break and the cost of a new screen is A$450+

I now use mine as a home handset, I rarely will carry it with me. Too expensive an item to risk damage which defeats its purpose almost entirely.

You can buy a robust case, and you should, but that will destroy the aesthetic if that was part of the reason you bought one and still doesn't guarantee it won't break when you drop it. Also beware of folio style cases which hold the phone with magnets, with a small bump, they will let go when you least expect it.

I'll keep mine until 5G rolls out and then buy a large screen phone from a competitor. If I need to carry a phone I have an old 5 which I swap the sim to, ridiculous but better than blowing cash on screens and it does the job.

No brainer – Ive always had Iphones since they first came out so I know how to use them. This was the main reason I stayed with Apple rather than buying a Samsung. Then I had to choose which Apple iPhone to buy. The reason I chose the iPhone X was because the screen is bigger than the previous models ... it pretty much takes up the whole of the front of the… Read more

phone which means that its better when I watch youtube or netflix on it, its better when I take photos or videos... its just better for pretty much everything you do on the phone. In my opinion the phone has a better operating system than any of the previous models....for example google maps seems to work on it really well... also it seems more efficient to do tasks and does them faster than the previous models I have owned. I could have got an Oppo for a lot less... but I've gone with a cheaper model before and then had to live with it for a couple of years so I don't do that anymore. Im very happy with the iPhone X. Without a doubt it is the best phone I've owned and id recommend it.

Brilliant Hardware – Absolutely love the iPhone X. Though Apple broke it with iOS13. Its an incredibly sturdy phone and great quality screen, camera and haptic feedback. It is very slippery though. Probably worth getting a cover.... but it feels so good naked in your hand. Show details

Good phone except the volume on the phone was broken after 1 year of purchasing brand new – 1.) not the best camera, I personally prefer the iPhone 8 camera or the newer iPhones than the X. 2.) it hasn’t slowed down much since 2018 and has good brightness. 3.) social media 4.) yes most apps do run smoothly Show details

Survived since launch and still going strong! – Major yes, minor no. Years, this phone has survived by my side. I’m sure I’ve dropped it down a drain at some stage. Shattered numerous glass screen protectors. Cases ruined. The list goes on (this poor phone) Yet it still lives! I will be keeping this phone as a backup phone. If I ever upgrade Since day dot, the steel frame had scratches and… Read more

scruffs. I realised it wasn’t going to survive terribly well. It’s sad because that shiny band when it’s new is just *love*. It did have that odd issue of the touch-chip lifting off the board and I couldn’t use my phone anymore. Just staring at a lock screen. That was fixed though, and never happened since.

The glass on the back is gorgeous and I am constantly mesmerised by the white.

Would still recommend this phone to new Apple users.

Apple simply offers the best products! – My sole wish is that Apple products were more affordable, you didn't feel abused financially when making a purchase specifically for more memory on your device and that the updates did not serve the Almighty Dollar more than the loyal customer. Those general complaints aside, nothing, that bears repeating... NOTHING can compete with an iPhone. … Read more

Iphone loyalist – Got this phone on a contract and happy with it! Got the 256 g storage. Photo quality great, easy to navigate, good battery life and just an all round great phone. an extra layer of security with face recognition and PIN number. Like the portrait features and other camera features and clearer picture clarity especially when comparing to the iPhone 6. Had for over 12 months and probably not aware of all the features but great for a not so tech savvy person such as myself.

I will never buy iPhone again – I know some people rave about iPhones but this is my first and last! Not as good and reliable as previous models – Ever since upgrading from the Iphone 7, I haven't been as happy with the apple iphone. Best Phone I Have Ever Owned – This product was the third iphone i purchased. I owned a 4 and 6 which i loved but this phone just takes it up a level. The phone functions flawlessly. It is pleasant to hold, holds its charge, has fantastic connectivity and is just overall an excellent quality phone. It was quite pricey but i was happy to pay for a product that would essentially be an extension of my arm for almost 2 years. Show details

This phone is a lemon Apple is beginning to look like Nokia dis – The biggest annoyance for me is the lack Of an audio jack. I have had the battery die twice on long calls at the end of the day. Not possible to charge and talk unless you have a charge pad. I don’t need to carry more I want to carry less. The lack of a button means apple provides a virtual button which is less than useless. What used to be a… Read more

simple process of a screen shot is now complicated and the button moves around the screen which means deleting unwanted accidents.

I miss my iPhone 6 but I won’t miss the X when my droid phone arrives. I’m selling this now while it has some value.

The camera is ok but drivers less than the hype.

I remember when Nokia kept changing chargers and getting smarter when simple would be smarter.

Reliable phone, no usb-c and no esim – I certainly rely on my iPhone X in business and personal life. And I know that Apple will fix anything - the service is incredible. One thing that's vexing - no usb-c, still proprietary lightning. Another thing - no esim, just regular sim. Otherwise solid product. Show details

Great updates but needs a few tweaks – I have had this phone for 6 months and I'm pretty happy with it. The only thing I would like to see on the next model is the fingerprint to unlock.
