For a company of this size, the lack of transparency and poor customer support is unacceptable. After wasting a few months waiting, I finally had to cancel the order because nothing was moving. Reviews on other websites for this model said there is no plastic in contact with water, however when I received the package, it turned out that the whole lid, internal bottom surface(!?) and filter on the nozzle are plastic. All the photos of this model that are available online, including AC website, don't feature these details. I submitted a return request on June 7, and still haven't received any response, even a confirmation email. After a few weeks I noticed that AC listing for this model stated it would be a backlog order, i.e. they had almost no stock left, but ended up ignoring my request anyway.
I did my best to research the model, called "Deluxe Glass Kettle", which turned out to be a not very luxe semi-plastic kettle. The product is clearly not fit for purpose. It seems like AC have implemented Return Requests on their application just to be able to pass as a legitimate business and to never respond to any of them. I can see that other people have been more unlucky to order more pricey and sometimes not even functioning appliances. Dealing with AC is basically a gamble, so I would recommend avoiding them altogether.

discovered the glass had a massive crack to the top left corner. After contacting Appliance Centre back in March 2025 they informed me that because the item has been in my possession past 30 days there is nothing that can be done about it. Upon request, they have not been able to provide evidence in their contract/online purchase agreement that this is the case. Futhermore I explained I have video evidence of the item in storage from the moment we received it (garage the entire time). Not only were the staff blunt about the situation, no option or advice was offered. It seems this is a common theme with the company.. AVOID all purchases from them would be my advice.

unit to their courier in Orbost, a 40min drive from Bemm River, because their couriers agent would not pickup from Bemm River. We eventually, drove the thing to Orbost and waited around for half an hour for the freight companies courier to turn up.
In the meantime we had decided to purchase another unit, so we could put our kitchen back together. The unit duly arrived, only to find the exact same problem, which turned out to be caused by poor packaging by the manufacturer, ie: polystyrene packaging at either ned, but none in the middle or either side, causing the sub-frame to bend and warping the glass cooktop.
Again we contacted the supplier, this time they said they would not replace the unit, on account of the damage caused by freighting the unit out. This problem could have occurred anywhere along the supply chain, due to the poor packaging. The company again offered a full refund, but also said that if we installed the unit they would honour the warranty and give us a discount off the purchase price.
In the end we dismantled the unit and panelbeated the sub-frame. It now looks like new. It is installed and working well. Thanks for the $100 off guys!

Follow-up · In the end it was all just a huge time wasting experience, the seller informed me that they did not have the appliance in their warehouse nor could they give me a clear indication as to when they would yet they continue advertising the appliance on their website as "in stock". More phone calls and 2 weeks later i received a refund. Avoid these amateurs at all costs!
1 month still hasn’t got my Tv… Order got shipped to a warehouse 1.5 hours away than got delivered 30 min away. Poor customer service Cold emails 0 care really. Asked for refund NEVER AGAIN!

The service I paid for—delivery, unpacking, and installation—was not provided at all. It’s unacceptable that DJT Logistics failed so completely, and even more concerning is that they showed no regard for basic professionalism or safety. Friendly and caring delivery of the washing machine, and the driver from DJT Logistics which Appliance Central use, phoned me more than 2 hours before delivery. I love the pillow drum which is gentle on my clothes. I love all the various wash cycles and features too. the detergent, fabric softener dispensers and lint filters are in good and easy places. all the filters and dispensers are very easy to clean too, much better than my old LG one. Appliance Central's pricing on their products, especially my washing machine are very good value. My machine was already on special and on top of that was $2-300 cheaper than some of the other companies selling the same product.

Google search, all vendors except Appliance Central claimed on their websites that they had stock but when you called they said they had to order from their supplier: only Appliance Central posted on the webpage of this product that the product was on back order. Since mid May-2024, the Appliance Central webpage shows "in-stock" instead of "back order", so I called Appliance Central to ensure that they actually have stock in the product I wanted to buy (as opposed to taking your order and then try to get stock from supplier, as many vendors do, including reputable white goods vendors). After their confirmation of stock, I placed the order and after 4 business days I received the delivery (fast interstate shipping and no damage at all). They have an online business model that works efficiently without wasting their time and the time of their potential customers. I would highly recommend this company. They do not comply with Australia Consumer Law. I have a 22 month old TCL soundbar/subwoofer paid $350 for and they have said bad luck. It does not pass the reasonable expectation standard of ACL and I am now having to go through ACCC and Consumer Affairs Victoria for a remedy. If your buying from this company think twice. They have the worst customer service, and are extremely unhelpful. I brought and product from them when I returned it with tracing number and having to sign for it on return not only did they keep the product they also keeper the refund. refunded me the price difference for a washing machine I bought from them, even though that purchase date was earlier than the fridge on Appliance Central. It is 300 difference, I would not bother if this is less than 200. I’m disappointed with Appliance Central’s approach and customer service.
