Five days after setting up the tank (on a levelling mat), the glass fractured spontaneously near the top. The supplier said the two year warranty it came with didn’t cover the glass, so they refused to repair, refund or replace it. Since the crack has spread a little I’ll have to get a new tank, so that’s $170 down the drain. Disappointing result for an expensive purchase.
Aquaone 70L tank got stress fractures a week after use and despite claiming to have a 2 year warranty and making us call ten times over two weeks, they have refused to refund or replace it. $160 of money I'd be saving for so long to get my first fishtank and now my entire set up is wasted and I will likely not be able to buy a different one. I would give 0 if I coupd because its unuseable with fraudelent claims and terrible customer service.
Bought a reef system 326 Cabinet missing panels and screws for a start now only 4 weeks old the plastic bits in by the sump filter are falling off the silicon "quality" not here

Load pump – I purchased the Aqua one 102f internal filter and have had broken fridges that where quieter. I took back for an exchange but apparently that is just the quality of the product.
Bought an Aqua One Maxi 105 submersible pump and it broke in less than 3 months. They bang on about a 3 year warranty what a joke. I rang to speak to someone was told to leave a number and they will call back, still waiting. When I pulled it apart it was a broken impeller, and they claim they don't cover the impeller in the warranty what a coincidence. Just don't buy their products they are rubbish!
NOT HAPPY ON SPARE PARTS – The shaft in the Aqua One Ocellaris 3000UVC Filter Replacement Impeller & Shaft Set 141i 25141I, The shaft breaks easily, and you don't sell the shaft replacements separately. This is disappointing as you have to buy the whole filter replacement set, just to get this part, which cost a lot of extra money. Very disappointed and this part should easily available cheaper

Checked documentation and warranty only to find 12 months offered but glass breakage specifically excluded, subject to local Consumer Protection laws. Contacted Aqua One Customer Care and found them most helpful, prompt reply and polite conversation by email. Asked for proof of purchase and photos of the location and damage, which I provided. They responded straight away, and although claimed they could not identify a reason for this event, they asked me to contact my retailer and offered to provide them with a replacement. My local Aquarium shop was also most helpful and polite, and with the help of their Aqua One rep obtained a later model tank at no extra cost. We know in this age of mass-produced products that sometimes things do go wrong, but what is important is how manufactures & suppliers deal with problems when they occur. In this instance I was very impressed with the response and outcome, and believe it is important to let suppliers know when there is a problem rather than complaining and chucking the item away. After all, if they don't know they can't fix it.
Aqua One G216 Protien Skimmer (400ltr) – 1 star off for a little noisy, but it does pull the muck out of the tank, only took a week to run in. I'm still going to add some matting under between the glass floor yet so that might quieten it a bit. I love the overflow tube which I have going into a 5 litre container so I don't have to empty every few days, can go weeks. Can't understand why people pay several hundred for a skimmer when this cost $135 postage included.

Nice tank poor filter – Purchased the tank and stand ad my first setup. Had trouble keeping water clean. After further research I found the filter was way to small for the tank. I bought a canister filter which fixed the problem. The led light is way to bright. Looking into buying a more suitable light. It's not that cheap after you buy the appropriate equipment.

right position, the water sprays backwards and out of the tank causing leaking at the back of the tank you don’t see until the water shows around the tank. They never show you a picture of the tank with water in it because it would look bad in photos, you’re not able to fill the tank to the black area so it looks like you haven’t topped the water up for weeks. The filter is atrocious! A canister filter is soooo much better. DO NOT BUY THIS TANK!!!

Filters well but the sound of water and strong flow is annoying! – I have an Aquaone Clearview 800 hang on filter. Powerful and filters well however doesn't seem to oxygenate the tank well and it's so loud it drives me nuts.

It was great until it wasn’t - 2am the glass cracked – I had the 76l curved front lifestyle for 2-3 years. Like others, the tank had never moved. Also like others, it spontaneously and dramatically cracked along the curve at 2am spilling half the tank of water onto the floor before we could get supplies to drain the remaining water.

the damage I would have lost all my beautiful cichlids. I have had 3 aqua one tanks in the last 10 years that have developed leaks or cracked. I have never moved them and they have been on their purpose made cabinets. I contacted the suppliers Kong with proof of purchase and clear photos of the crack. I expressed how concerned I am for the safety of people and fish as these tanks are dangerous. They pretended they were really concerned and wasted so much of my time asking for details, emails phone calls etc. 5 weeks after I contacted them they suddenly wanted me to return the tank to the store. Of course I had disposed of it as I had provided evidence and Proof of purchase. They suddenly sent an email saying sorry too bad we can’t do anything for you as you disposed of the tank. Don't buy aqua one clearview 100 hang on filter – On my 2nd clearview 100 aquarium filter in less than 2 weeks both filters run well for a few hrs & then the same issue unfiltered water over flowing from intake side of filter & back into the tank there is nothing you can do to stop this adjusting the flow won't help.

lift the lid and the tank is in total darkness. The lid has click locks which scared the fish. Today like many other owners it cracked from top to bottom along the front curve with no warning. We were home luckily and managed to push it outside before it fully emptied on the floor. Still took over an hour to clean up the 30 litres of water we probably lost all over our floor. Tank exploded – AquaOne 157 litre exploded at 4am in the morning. 2 years old and after reading other reviews on the page they all do it along the curved piece of glass. Design fault or dodgy temper on the glass? Avoid this brand. Luckily I saved the fish with quick thinking and rest will be insurance for the floor.

Aqua One Reefsys 326 – Quality of glass tank is good, sump design ok but ato is small and hard to get too. Cabinet finish looks great but the slightest moisture and poof it swells up. Cabinet will only last a few years at this rate, I'm 2 mths in. It's cheap compared to others it's size, but pays to get better cabinet and sump. I wouldn't buy another one.

the clip makes when it locks! The lights are also now inbuilt into the lid so when you open the lid, there is no light INTO to tank so it makes it hard to see the interior. I don;t why they changed from a great design to this poor design. I will now be looking for a suitable replacement and will no longer recommend Aqua One tanks for fellow hobbiests.
