Absolutly amazing service, they went above and beyond. Not knowing anything about fish or fish tanks, My kids and I wanted some gold fish as I was confident I could care for them, I had emailed a few places and got a few responses. However, Aquatic Supplies Australia actually asked questions and were able to answer my questions in a timely and courteous way. They helped me pick out the best tank, filter, media and pump suitable for my situation. The help I received was genuinely amazing. I will definately be referring all of my friends and family to them in the future. The kids changed their mind on one of the ornaments and the return process was easy to do

Very dodgy company
I bought a faulty pump from these people. I returned it and they ([Name Removed]) advised I had not replaced the impeller correctly and that is why it was noisy and occasionally stopped. I informed them I had never taken it apart so it must have been faulty when assembled. They said because I hadn't taken it apart and cleaned it, it was very dirty. I advised them it was a new pump and in pristine condition. They advised via email on 14/02/23 that it had been fixed and would be returned as soon as possible. Since then I have heard nothing from

I didn't pay $56 as a free donation. Better off to go to a real store where people provide honest customer service. When you return a pump (at our expense) as warranty, but it works perfectly, it’s not faulty. All testing is on camera as advised.

The post office has advised they delivered reminder notices to you also. Our now 7 emails and 2 unanswered calls to get a different address have not been responded to. With nowhere to send it, we can’t send it. We have received zero correspondence from you since we notified you it was on the way. Given our system blocks abusive emails, it’s likely they have gone to spam. Our apologies. We don’t want your used pump and have tried to return it to you. Please provide us with an address it can be delivered to and if unavailable, please ensure you collect it. The pump was confirmed faulty via an email (14/2/23 13:09) from your staff advising it had been sent to Blue Planet who fixed it and tested it and it is now in working order. Up until this point I had sent eleven emails to your staff and received ten replies. All emails going in both directions have been civil, informative and productive. There have been no abusive emails from either myself nor your staff and no reason why any mail system would choose to block them. This last email I received from your staff on 14/2/23 13:09 advised my fixed pump would be returned as soon as possible. I have not received the pump and I have received no further contact from your company since 14/2/23. On 9/3/23 12:55 I sent an email enquiring as to why I had not yet received my pump. I received no reply. On 8/4/23 12:30 I sent an email enquiring as to why I had not yet received my pump. I received no reply. You state you have sent 7 further emails and 2 unanswered calls all of which I have not received. You state my pump was sitting at my post office for several weeks unclaimed. You state the post office advised you they had sent me reminder notices for the pump to be collected. You state the post office has provided you with a statement confirming I rejected to collect the parcel. I live in a small regional town of [Content Removed] in Victoria which has one small Post Office. All mail addressed to me whether to my physical street address or my P O Box address is held by the post office for me to collect. The Post Office sends an email and a text whenever I have mail/parcels to collect. I collect my mail approx. three times per week and am well known to the two Post Office staff. Today I checked with the Post Office staff to verify any of your claims. They have no recollection of your company. They have not received any parcels addressed to me that I did not collect and they have no dealings with you despite you claiming you now have a statement from the Post Office. Might I suggest you verify the information you are being provided by your staff to understand why they are forwarding you this incorrect information. Either you have a staff issue or someone is trying to send my pump to the wrong person, the wrong post office, telephoning the wrong person and emailing the wrong person. I fail to see how this has happened when we have such an extensive trail of cordial emails. Hoping you can take a proactive approach to resolving this issue. Went over and beyond
We had brought a filter from another fish shop that no longer sold it and didn't want to help us when we had a problem. I googled the filter and emailed aquatic supplies. Simone was really helpful and she let me know it was under warranty and sorted it out for me. I will definitely be using them again and recommending them. Amazing customer service

When I first started in the hobby, I had issues with the filter I ordered. This was over a year ago, and her incredible customer service has meant that I have placed multiple orders since then. Simone really is so helpful, and has even a few times answered my emails long after hours. it's basically the equivalent of an LFS but online, same friendly advice and a good range as you'd expect in a store. The only tiny bug bear I have is that they do sell a lot of products that are inappropriate for bettas such as tanks that are too small ect. I would love to see them move away from these lines. Otherwise, I would always recommend this store.

brought the Eheim 11w UV-C lamp from Aquatic Supplies Australia found it is used there are water marks on the lamp also the filament turned to white already and the label on the box showed it made in China, but on the lamp it showed made in Italy. return start 16/01/2022, until today 1/2/2022 with no solution, item in their PO Box waiting for collection but been told they only collect once a week.

I recently purchased “Dymax cichlid vibrant conditioner series” to improve the wellness or upkeep of my already healthy fish. I am some what new to caring for fish but in the last 4 months of setting up my fish tank I have not lost one fish. I just wanted something to make sure they we getting what they needed incase I’ve missed something.
Anyways, I bought this Dymax product with confidence in what I heard from the sales person. He said everyone loves it and it has mass success. However, I cannot find any review what so ever on this product. The ingredients are not labelled anywhere or on the bottle. After using some, my fish seemed to swim erratically and tried to eat so much more. Now in the description, it does say it increases appetite, but I am freaking out alittle as, I am alittle worried I put this in unnecessarily as I also can’t find a single review.
Please help restore confidence in my decision or welcome to hear more pointers.

I am trying to purchase a replacement led light for my fluval 60 litre curved fish tank . I ordered a light a week ago but when it arrived I found I had ordered the wrong one . The tank was originally purchased from Petbarn But they are too useless to help with this . The length of the led one I have is 51.5 cm long .
