 AI reviews summary

The overall sentiment for Aramex Australia is overwhelmingly negative, with a consistent pattern of failed deliveries and poor communication. Customers frequently report that drivers fail to attempt delivery despite residents being home, often followed by dishonest "missed delivery" notifications and demands for redelivery fees. Significant delays are systemic, with parcels often sitting in local depots for weeks or being sent to incorrect states.

Pros
Regional performance: Some users in specific regional areas, such as Coffs Harbour and Gulmarrad, report positive experiences with courteous local drivers and efficient service.
Cost-effectiveness: A small segment of users acknowledge that the service is a budget-friendly option for international or non-urgent shipping.
Cons
Failed delivery attempts: Drivers frequently mark deliveries as "unsuccessful" without knocking, ringing doorbells, or leaving calling cards, even when CCTV confirms no vehicle approached the property.
Systemic delays and tracking issues: Parcels often remain stationary in depots for 7–21 days; meanwhile, the tracking system is described as inaccurate, rarely updated, or providing conflicting information.
Poor customer support: The offshore call centres and AI chat assistants are described as unhelpful, with users reporting long wait times and a lack of resolution for lost or misplaced items.
Insecure parcel handling: There are recurring reports of parcels being thrown over fences, left on public footpaths, or jammed into mailboxes, leading to theft or weather damage.
Verdict

Aramex Australia is widely considered unreliable by consumers due to frequent delivery failures and a lack of accountability. While a few regional franchises perform well, the majority of feedback indicates that the service is plagued by extreme delays and unprofessional driver conduct, leading many users to actively boycott retailers that use the service.

Late delivery and then threw an unprotected cardboard box of organic foodstuff worth over $150 over the front fence into a paddock in the pouring rain. All ruined. We have a full tarmac drive leading to a large dry porch that they ignored. Other deliveries 7 days late showing 'out for delivery with driver' for 5 days. No response to complaints or enquiries except AI bot. Show details

Consistently hopeless performance. Nothing is good about them since the overseas based company bought out Fastway. I purchased two item form a Melbourne based company. Both similarly sized and weight. The first item was sent by Aramex on 2 July on July and the second item was purchased on 4 July using Australia Post. Neither were using an… Read more

Express Service. The item sent via Australia Post arrived 9 July while the Aramex item "has been delayed" with no further updates as of 11 July. Like the last four deliveries it has probably been left at the local depot and only delivered many days later after an enquiry was lodged.. I suggest asking your shipper if they intend using Aramex and say either use an alternate or no thanks and cancel the transaction.

I would use zero stars if that was an option. They were meant to pick up today by 5pm. They have lied that an failed delivery attempt was made. We were home all day and no one came or called. We cannot get past the customer service agent. Their so called escalation team can do nothing but raise a ticket with the depot and then tell me to wait for… Read more

a call which could be on any day. When I call back for an update they keep hanging up on me. There is apparently no complaints team or process to refer me to. No one can talk to the depot directly and no can say what is happening, or has even offered to reschedule delivery. It is the worst service and I suspect not compliant with australian law which requires a complaint process and point of contact.

Once again Aramex has been used by a company I purchased from who also throw or drop packages at your door without any regard of its contents. Companies should tell consumers which courier company they are using so that I do not purchase products from them if Aramex is used. If I could have left a zero review I would have. Show details

Terrible, primarily because there is no way to get through and they don't follow through at all – **Just go to their depot, it's the only way to get your parcel** Like many others I have been floored by how inept Amarex has been with a recent parcel delivery. I understand Christmas time is a busy time of year for any postal service, but at no point did they follow through on getting my parcel to me. Firstly, they claim they attempted… Read more

delivery on Dec 19th at 8PM but did not leave a calling card nor any notice of when the delivery would be. My partner was definitely at home during this time.

Secondly, there is no easy way to get through to them. No one gets back to you with their chat portal, their contact form on their website also goes unanswered. I also could not order a redelivery as I had no calling number card. And when you call their number the call immediatly drops as the line is busy.

Eventually I realised if I kept on calling the 03 number I eventually would get through, after 55 attempts of this I got through to the pre-recorded message and left I was on hold. A further 45 minutes waiting there I eventually got on to someone. As I had no trust in them delivering my parcel I opted to pick it up from their depot. The lady on the phone told me I would need to wait up to 48 hours for confirmation that the parcel was ready for pick up. And, of course, that email never came. 4 days later I called again, same story, I was told I definitely hear back within 48 hours and my issue (i.e. my parcel seemingly being held hostage) had been forwarded up the line. Again, multiple days later I had heard nothing.

Eventually, on Jan 3rd, after starting to research what body of authority to complain to, I came across an review here sharing a similar story with all of the above about doing to the depot for collection with success. I did the same, it took about 15 minutes for them to find my parcel and I left. Ironically, not long after picking it up my online customer enquiry that I had sent on the Dec 21st that I never heard back from was closed due to picking up the parcel. Truly wild that they are allowed to operate.

This is the second time I have had my delivery dropped at the gate 173 m away from the front door These lazy delivery drivers cannot drive up the driveway. They are pathetic. I rang and spoke to the delivery driver for our area the day before the scheduled delivery, and was advised delivery would be at 10am. The driver made no attempt to contact us to advise of her… Read more

arrival. The front door bell was not activated. This is in addition to the package being delivered 5 days late. I believe the delivery driver's failure to follow through with her assurances was intentional, to avoid her being delayed during delivery. Like the old saying, "all care and no responsibility". I have included photos of the delivery. It is a Large Mirror (800mm diameter), and you would expect that extra care would be taken in handling the pakage. We were very fortunate the mirror was not damged. This poor experience will affect my decision to ever purchase anything from Bunnings Online Store in the future. It will also reduce the likelyhood of purchasing anything where Amarex will be the delivering company. Disgraceful!!!

Late and delays every single time . I will never buy products from any business who uses Amarex for there delivery service. Edit... So the package was only 1 days late which is exeptable.
