around though. A substantial amount of our items arrived broken. Whilst these items held no real monetary value, but they were sentimental enough for us to pack to move to China. Disappointed with the response from customer service, when we sent the photos. We weren't after an insurance claim, but it felt like they passed the buck on who was responsible, blaming the Chinese couriers.

We have used Seven Seas to move boxes from Australia to France and return two years later. (France). - Great flexibility to be able to change contact details and delivery address until the last minute. - Logistical precision up to the delivery time. Our boxes took four months to arrive which was the estimates timeframe given right at the beginning. They arrived at destination within a given 1 hr window! - Granular insurance process so you can protect only what matters. - None of our boxes showed any sign of mismanagement or exposure to water, everything inside arrived as it was packed. - Ability to see the exact location of the ship during the whole journey. Only improvement feedback would the tracker map window which could be improved (using Chrome on iPhone).

Second time i used this company. On the whole, very good. I shipped 5 boxes from UK to Australia. Communication was good. Dropped boxes off, collected on time, delivered on time. customer service quickly and they helped straight away. Other times I called customer service the wait was very long (30 minutes). Also, with regard to drop off, I had be told they deliver to your door on my preliminary inquiry, however customer service later told me that they do not do stairs. However, on arrival the delivery driver was exceptional and took boxes up a flight of stairs and into my apartment. Also, he refused a tip. I think Seven Seas should be clearer on this. Other criticism is the costs. I paid in the UK (GBP) which I thought was total cost of shipping boxes. However, when boxes arrived in Australia, I was hit with another AUD300 in costs. This was probably my fault for not reading all the paperwork, but I wish the total costs were given at the start. On the whole, pretty good service and I would use again

However I quickly realised I could just call Seven Seas's support hotline and received professional guides and answers to whatever enquiries i might have. One thing that I was most grateful of was when I was notified of a mistake I had made on my declaration. Fortunately their online documentation system was so advanced that allowed me to made the correction and resubmit.Being able to prepare all the required documents online was a tremendous help since I do not have access to a printer. delivery driver was right on time. The online portal was excellent in terms of tracking where the ship was. The most frustating part of the process was perparing the necessary documentation for the shipment. They have a specialist team that reviews the documentation and identifies any issues. However, the communication of any problems was very unclear and frustrating - and it took many attempts to get everything right. Despite this, I would trust Seven Seas again to ship my stuff.
