(I even called her as I thought I was being scammed), Steph was super efficient and dealt with any queries I had in a timely matter, happy for me to call at any time and just get anything cleared up which is nice!

I was kept informed the whole journey and everything went smoothly, boat arrived in perth roughly a week of after the predicted date but that was more to do with the Fremantle unloading side that made it late. can't recommend these guys highly enough and will be sending anyone that I know looking to move stuff around Australia or oversees their way.

We used McPhee freight to ship our new seaweed harvesting vessel from Victoria to Fremantle. We went out to tender, and although some of the other providers were cheaper, what impressed me about McPhee’s was the quality of the service and that the there were no hidden costs. McPhee’s price was cheaper than competitors and also cheaper than us driving over to collect, any questions we had were promptly answered over the phone or by email. you get Professional company with customer focus service. January 2026 ,We had an horrific interaction with another company, where our car did not move in 4 weeks, poor communication, horrible customer servic, fobbed off constantly, could not get any information on.our car and then found out it had not moved from drop off point, we had to retrieve our vehicle, argue to get SOME of our funds returned and wait nearly 4 weeks for part payment. We were VERY weary in choosing another freight company but McPhee were very accomadating and gave us total confidence in giving our car to them for door to door service , we were informed all the way. phone calls and emails were answered efficient and timely. We would recommend and again use McPhee freight for any vehicle transport.

Negligence and unprofessional service – To Whom It May Concern, On 11th September 2024 I paid $3750 to McPhee Transport to have VW Motorhome delivered from [Details Removed] to [Details Removed] in Weatern Australia door to door as quoted by [Name Removed]. The Motorhome, which was drivable and had the required amount of fuel in it to,quote…to be able to be driven on and off transport… Read more

and vessels and to be driven around Port lay down areas..unquote, successfully managed to do all that was required until it arrived at Fremantle port. It was there that Mcphees management decided to organise the services of another transport company who intern organised two old retired couple to DRIVE (not Tilttray) my Motorhome nearly 100kms on a 110km freeway to my home address! Nearly at the end of that negligent journey it broke down. It was then TOWED ( not tilttrayed, automatic vehicles shouldn’t be towed because of damage to transmission) to a holding yard without my knowledge.  I have sent several emails to Mcphees asking for details of Mcphees employees in WA who were involved with horrendous decision of lack of care and negligence and also for the insurance company but have had no reply.

McPhee Freight is professional, easy to communicate with, pleasant and helpful.- Interstate relocation of a boat – McPhee provided a service to transfer our 20 foot sail boat on a custom built trailer, from the ACT to WA. The load was unusually wide and would not fit into a standard container. They made helpful suggestions, responded flexibly to our request for changes, were clear and quick in communicating costs and updates. The final cost was in accordance with that quoted, with no unexpected additional charges. The boat arrived in good condition. Having an item of this nature delivered by a combination of road and sea freight requires experienced coordination and the buyer needs to be aware of and anticipate some uncertainty around schedules of ships. Some reviews referred to delays, and we were prepared for that. But in our case the boat arrived a little earlier than expected and McPhee assisted with arranging short term storage and delivery. McPhee were easy to contact via phone and email and the office staff in particular were friendly and patient (thank you Stephanie). The transfer of the boat was one of the more expensive components of our interstate move but we received excellent service and therefore believe that the cost was justified.
