1 Wing  · The daily rate of service in providing electricity to the premises was 37 cents when I joined in 2024, but in 2025, it jumped up to $1.02. I'll quit soon.

80-90%. What ever happened to CPI increases of 2% or 3% ??? Now they are just like any of the others. Their saving grace is that their Call Centre is based in Australia, though I did call yesterday and received silence to my questions. I guess designed to frustrate the customer into giving up and hanging up.

 Follow-up  · In the weeks following my original review I received multiple messages from Arcline by RACV promising a phone call or other email service to discuss our issue, but nothing happened. In my books they are just like all the other power companies, all talk about their service but no action, and no longer any more cost effective than the others after their recent huge price increases.

give 4 star dont know as yet join 30 minutes ago 30/sept 2025 read the reviews looks great leaving the one the worse big companies energy australia over charge us twice now so hope Arcline go better for us and save money I know prices gone up but im sure we get a bill not 2 bills one day and next day another one as they did to us energy australia and a $640 gas bill wow so go well I give a 5 star next Show details ·  1

On the 5 August 2025 I confirmed in writing to Arcline by RACV to proceed with their written quote regarding gas supply to my home. It is now 7 December 2025 and I have not heard anything from this company. Why do companies provide quotes and when given the go ahead to proceed, you hear nothing back from them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY AND WASTE YOUR TIME.

Went to change electricity providers today (30/6/2025) to Arcline by RACV. I read the information on their website and it looked really good. It says that their electricity offer is 18% below the VDO and that if you stay with them for 3 months, then you get an further 8% off the VDO price. It also says later in their offer, that if you stay for… Read more

3 months, then you get a $150 bill credit with them. Their FIT is also good at the moment, and that's why I rang them to change, BUT I DIDN'T CHANGE. After speaking with their customer service person (who was great and very helpful), I found out the following: The 8% reduction is in fact the $150 bill credit being offered further down on their web page - NOT in addition to; The 8% (or their $150 bill credit) is only for the first year and then you get neither the 8% reduction or the $150 credit from there on. To me, that is misleading. The customer service person stated that Arcline management have had a number of complaints about this issue but have done nothing about it at this stage. Arcline, or RACV, you need to fix that misleading information on your website before your brand is tarnished and people mistrust your offers.

I changed over to Arcline Energy because of its great rates. Switching over took over one month and when the change happened, they connected the wrong meter, despite giving them the correct nmi number and address. They then charged me connection fees for the connection of the wrong meter. It took multiple emails and phonecalls to get this… Read more

I just received another invoice for connection fees for last month, while using 0 kwh (because I was still connected to the previous energy provider on the correct nmi).

The price might be good, but the systems they have in place are rubbish and it seems communication within the business is absent.

Stay away from this business, it seems they use RACVs good reputation to sell a cheap product, with terrible support and a broken admin system.

I was somewhat surprised that their helpline is local. The lady that I spoke with was pleasant, helpful and efficient. So far so good, and great service – Spoke with Ash looking to confirm if electricity and gas prices are as good as they appear. It seems so, though with complicated discounts the jury is out on that until I see first bill. Stand by for an updated review on the transition process, pricing and access to monitor usage but for this review I couldn’t fault Ash’s service levels.
