I have always washed with soft sponge
used filtered water
after drying i give the surface a light coating of bran oil before putting away
before cooking i wipe it clean and give it a light coating of bran oil before cooking
however it has lost its non stick properties and i would like to know how to restore them?

I think the problem is if the pan is too hot it may cause problems. I keep the pan on a relatively low heat and have had no problems. Cheers.
