You shouldn't clean the numbers etc with any substances, you can only use a wet rag. I think you can order new ones from Ariston.

No idea sorry - try contacting Arisit in Melbourne- you have a two year warranty maybe longer - there’s a heating element b hind fan I think?

No idea either I'm sorry. Ariston stoves normally come with 5 year warranty, perhaps you should contact their service team.

It may not be the thermostat but the element itself, my fan bake has stopped working unless i manually turn the fan a few times,then turn the oven on then it will go,i have been told it needs a new motor in the fan bake,this oven has been well looked after,but has not been made to last.

The motor works ok. I doubt the element is the problem as this applies to any element that I select. If it was the element I would expect it to be the one only, not all of them.

Hi Min, I experience the same issue with my oven upon opeing of the door when baking. The hot air that comes out of the oven stings your eyes and makes them water, l have to remind my self to stand well back when opeing the door and not have my face to close. I'm sorry l am unable to help you as to why this happens, but l am also not surprised given the problems l have had with this oven.

Hi Feebles1 You will very definitely need a Technician, Ariston has all the parts you need and will organise the parts and a Technician for you, if your stove is still under warranty. Contact Ariston on 1300 815 589 in Australia or NZ (09) 306 1020 you will need the purchase number and date off your receipt or invoice, so have it ready before you contact them, hope this was helpful.

All I've ever done is leave it to its own devices, unless something has bubbled over. Then all I do wipe it up with a cloth that's has been in hot water with washing up liquid. If there's any left over the the ovens self cleaning mechanism takes over. I can vouch for even sticky treacle sauce that escaped all over the oven base when a springform cake tin let it all ooze out. Hope this helps :)

Hi Ameada, the oven you have has catlytic liners so this means that you can wipe off any residue after cooking in the oven, its not that it self cleans. I believe the reason that it was smoking was becasue the fats thet had been left on your oven began to smoke. once finished your cooking wait for the oven to cool and wipe off any residue with a damp soapy cloth. Ariston ovens are only available through Harvey Norman in Australia. So far I am pretty happy with the oven performance with my only reservation being the lack of accuracy with the temperature settings on the oven thermostat.
