All the time, we were in regular touch with Ashtons as we tried to identify available dates for furniture to come out of storage, assuming a new settlement date could be relied upon. Ashtons were understanding of our situation and our dealings with the staff was the one strand of sanity in what was otherwise an unsettling extended period of over 3 months before we finally were able to move into our new home. From the receptionist at Ashtons to the admin staff and removal crews, we enjoyed professional and helpful service at all stages, that included their added assistance to provide separate invoicing for our additional costs should we have gone down the road of needing to take legal action to recover costs incurred subsequent to the first default on settlement date. We can only be thankful that we chose Ashtons to help us with our move and the unexpected stress that our move entailed.

outrageous prices, I got Ashtons' which was pretty fair compared to the others and the time they take to deliver your things. On the day of the pick up (Thursday), they were at my place exactly at the time they said they were going to arrive. The 3 guys (sorry, I can't remember their names) were amazing! They came and took all of our stuff from our level 9 apartment to the loading docks in ~ 1 hour, even the building manager was impressed! We tried to help but they told us to sit and relax, that it was their job. Our things arrived in Melbourne on the following Wednesday, and again they arrived at the arranged time. The 2 guys were also amazing! They did everything in no time! Everything was in perfect condition! We were very worried about some fragile items, but they got here in one piece and working properly. I am so glad we went with Ashtons removals and I would not hesitate to hire their services again. Thank you!!

Unbelievably stress free – Our move was over a short distance, involving a 5 bedroom, 2 study, 3 living areas, 2 story home with some very heavy furniture pieces upstairs. Nicest, most professional guys with a super organised project leader. Nothing was too much trouble to eliminate MY stress levels. Well planned...made a smooth process. I genuinely looked forward to seeing them all again when it was time to move into new house. Was an exciting and easy day. We took out insurance on major pieces, tvs, fridge, washing machine etc. Not a mark on anything. No hesitation to use Ashtons again and recommend to everyone.

Thoroughly recommend – A move made easy. 85 cartons plus furniture from a house to high rise unit all done in 6 hours. No hassles, friendly efficient crew. Would highly recommend to anyone moving.

Disappointing and not very helpful – We moved from Carrara to Hope Island and although the removalists were pleasant enough, they were not very helpful. They arrived on time, took 2 hours to load the van but surprisingly took over 4 hours to unload, due to numerous breaks! help my wife and I assemble our 6 foot bed and were told quite bluntly that if Ashtons didn't dismantle the unit then they can't reassemble. My wife has arthritis in her hands, we are in our mid 60's and the bed requires at least 2 people to assemble. The 6ft mattress is very heavy and cumbersome. Needless to say, we were not impressed and this is the first time in 20 moves that we did not provide a tip.

We will not be using Ashtons again in the future and would not recommend their service. Very disappointing all round.

Fantastic – They were brilliant. As this was a third party removal of a small load, Ashtons staff were tireless in their efforts to make sure this all worked well for all the parties involved. Be aware of those hidden cost – 1. States in contract but wasn't highlighted by sales that free delivery from where depot is to where you are in which case I was charged additional. 2. Bought delivery insurance but that not valid for 60 days which means if your stuff n storage then final delivery from depot to your home want be covered! Very tricky 3. Hidden cost, bad services

Our move with Ashtons was seamless right from packing day. The guys who packed up my precious entertaining dinnerware were very careful with every piece with no breakages at any stage. Similar experience on delivery, everything in correct rooms & in excellent condition. We would & have highly recommended Ashton’s service to friends & family.

neighbours driveway due to my driveway being long, steep with lots of overhanging branches. My neighbour even complimented the team on how respectful caring and courteous they were towards her. Great Service – Ashton removals helped us with the movement of our baby grand piano. The service was excellent, arrived on time, the removalists were very polite and helpful. Would definateley recommend them.

Piano removal – We needed a piano removed from a first floor unit and down stairs, no lift. 4 men who knew what they were doing, and they were polite. They arrived right on time.

Excellent service from beginning to end – We moved out of a 5 bedroom house and had Ashtons place entire contents into storage for 10 months. They then delivered the contents to our new residence. The office staff and crew could not have been more helpful or professional. I would highly recommend Ashtons.

Excellent service and friendly people – 2 bd 2 bath from townhouse to apartment with many stairs and long walk to get to apartment in complex. Brenton did my load and unload and he was an excellent worker and extremely friendly.

Furniture move with ashtons – 6 bedroom home with expensive furniture and a baby grand piano. I have used Ashtons to move my piano for over 20 years. Always a perfect move. Local move . All on time Very reliable, polite blokes and efficient. Would def use them again. The quoting system was hood as well and they invoiced for what they quoted. Very happy with the move.

Stress Free Removalists – We moved from a 3 bedroom Villa to a 3 bedroom unit over a distance of 20 kms. Removalists told us they would be there at 7.00 am and they were! All furniture, cartons, plants were delivered without any breakages or scratches! This was the 4th time we had used Ashtons and that speaks for itself.

High-quality removalists – The guys from Ashtons were professional, on-time, efficient and careful with our property. They're more expensive than some of the others we looked at, but you get what you pay for in our experience.

Above and beyond – 3 bedroom home, large kitchen dining family and formal lounge are. Lots of heavy statuary and on top of that they had to move a bedroom suite from the place we were moving to. No problems and also took furniture etc to out storage unit. Great teamwork and professionalism.
