I have now been buying things from ASOS for a while now. Initially my experience with them was terrific. Had no problems. Lately everything I have ordered, the quality of the clothes has just been terrible. Apart from that, their customer service is just terrible. It’s been over a month now I’ve been trying to resolve an issue with an order of mine and it still hasn’t been solved yet. I’ve paid for my parcel which I still haven’t received. They say they’ve issued a replacement but I haven’t even received an email confirming their claims or with...any details of the so called replacement that’s been issued. They disconnected me from the customer service chat when I demanded answers. I’m just extremely dissatisfied with their customer service lately. The products they’re selling don’t meet the standards they claim. I would recommend any new customers to be careful while ordering from them as the quality isn’t no where near as to what it should be, the customer service is also terrible. 10/10 would not recommend. Better off shopping with The Iconic, at least they take better care of their customers.
You can buy nice things but be prepared for a painful refund process (if you were lucky to enough to get any)
Returned unsuitable purchases over $150 on 29/4, been advised different dates of refund via their customer care team, each member gave me a wrong date to follow up, each if them advise their previous colleague were wrong .. to cut the story short.. no refund till now been pushed to the 30th … and prepared to be pushed again when i contact them on the 30th.. so much wasting customers time like we are penalised we ordered from them. use the Iconic instead they have fabulous service !
I bought a Nike jumper from ASOS over $100. Just opened it today with a hole and a razor slice looking mark on the Nike logo. I opened package with my hands so know for a fact it wasn’t my mistake. It’s just really upsetting when u spend a lot of money on an item only for it not to be the quality it should be
No return customer service
Feb 2022 - Received boots which I paid $128, they were too small, returned 2 days later via one of their approved services in Nerang, Gold Coast, now they are stating that it took longer than 28 days for the goods to reach them so they have given me a returns voucher which has been added to my account...which I didn't even know I had. I will never purchase anything from this online outlet....zero customer service..
Never buy from ASOS
Never buy from ASOS. You will be supplied with garbage and when you return it, they will not refund you. You simply end up wasting time chatting with people who can't use the English language and somehow make the same identical grammatical errors when responding to your requests, no matter who you chat with. ASOS used to process refunds quickly, but not anymore. Beware and stay away.
Returns customer service process is horrible. (Unless you enjoy taking in loops too bots)
A very frustrating experience tracking down returned item refunds.
Multiple requests to address were met with a generic bot response stating “thank you” with nil action.
I’ll never use ASOS again
So painful. Waiting 6 weeks for a refund.
I placed an order with ASOS, tried to return it but their system was down. Spoke to their chat team and they told me to pay for shipping to refund it. Did this ($130...) and then 6 weeks later am still waiting for a refund. They told me 24 hours, then 10 days, now it's been escalated to the unauthorised transactions team (despite not being an unauthorised transaction, it's an authorised transaction). Don't buy any high value from them if you aren't willing to wait for grey hairs to get your money back (if I ever do). Their customer service team is so unhelpful and just say they will look into this "as soon as possible"
i ordered $ 93 bucks now i’m trying to cancel the order but i can’t cancel it because i’m travelling abroad.
Poor service from asos think before buy or else it will be tuff to get money back !! do not order straight think and buy.
Really bad returns process
I used to love ASOS so I purchased the premium service to get free express postage. Never again. It's been over 2 months since my return and it apparently hasn't even reached their warehouse yet. Won't give me my money back as I didn't get the proof of receipt return.
Live chat not working
Asos is normally really good but they need to Fix their live chat!!! My promo codes not working and there's currently no way to get through to the live chat
Avoid this company, use ICONIC instead.
ASOS delivered a package late, as I was already out of the country the post office then returned to sender. ASOS initially agreed to full refund, seemed simple? Then weeks later, having to chase and escalate the case via PayPal I am still awaiting the refund. They sent email confirmation of processing the refund that never entered bank account. On having to follow up for the forth time ,they stated PayPal declined the refund. PayPal state they never stop refunds and confirm no attempt was made by this company to pay the refund.
They refuse to ...provide email contacts of team leaders, complaints departments, customer care, instead you get passed from worker to worker via an evasive chat function. Not sure if this company is now in financial difficultly or management has changed but they are dishonest and try to withhold money after agreeing in writing to full refund. This wasn't previously my experience. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS - i won't be using again
Another loyal customer lost
I have been shopping with ASOS for more than 10 years.
They are the only Ecommerce store I have constantly come back to and I used to love shopping with them.
I found the whole experience seamless.! I am so disappointed today.
Like a lot of comments have stated. They are not the same company they used to be and the quality of their products and care for their customers has slowly declined over the years.
Shipping from the UK can take a really long time and they carry so many different brands so the sizes can vary, also you never know if you ...like something until you try it on!! Based on these factors I will normally do a huge order once every 6 months, try everything on and send a few items back. This used to be a seamless process and my refunds would always come through within a week or so, so I never hesitated to splurge on large order, knowing that if anything did not fit, I could return so easily.
ASOS is on par with SHEIN these days..
Where do I start?
Orders are late, refunds can take a while, quality is lacking and the customer service is a 3/10.
ASOS used to be amazing 5+ years ago. Obviously they hire cheap labour now and outsource everything to save a buck, and it shows! The customer service team even complain about working there? This company needs to go.
Lost the plot
Used to order all the time - don't know what has happened to their quality assurance or their customer service both are terrible borderline non existent. Was tempted to purchase again with the sale over Easter but stopped when I read the reviews about the shoes - consistently people state that the sizes are incorrect which is why I vowed never to shop again after having to return multiple pairs of shoes all ordered in size 9 but none of the were a true size 9 - more like a 7 or 6, I couldn't even get them on my foot - all other commercial bran...ds size 9 fit so the labelling is incorrect and it took me months and months to get a refund when I returned them immediately with proof of them receiving the goods and not actioning my refund - buyer beware and stay away - much more reputable organisations to buy from on line - just not sure why they don't seem to care that they have disappointed so many long time loyal customers - won't be tempted again, unsubscribing and deleting.
Complained about a missing parcel so they banned me. A loyal customer really disappointing.
I placed an order with ASOS around the 27th of March. It’s winter in Australia so I ordered a few coats hoping one would fit me but knowing if they didn’t no worries I could return. So I spent around $800. I also paid $20 for express. The items were sent in 2 packages. It was meant to arrive April 1st it didn’t. When it did arrive only ONE of the TWO parcels arrived! So of course i contacted ASOS immediately! They said contact australia post and your courier which I did! The courier said they only had ONE parcel and they will investigate furthe...r. I contacted ASOS and the customer service said they will refund me. In the meantime I sent back the items I didn’t want in parcel 1. ASOS received my parcel but sent a generic email saying I’m banned. They have sent this email to people for the last 5 years who complained about a missing parcel, including celebrities who got a refund only because they are famous and went viral with their complaint. I reached out to them again and got another email saying they still won’t refund me and to contact my bank which I have. I have emailed consumer affairs, and my bank is now investigating. I am not taking this personal as they haven’t bothered to investigate anyone’s complaint.
