Ordered to buy Dyson battery, charger and filter. Battery arrived with incorrect charger. Filter was not sent. Upon inquiry was told that filter will be sent separately which to date never arrived. Ryobi 36V 40V 6AH failed within 4 weeks. In fact, it didn't charge fully on the first attempt. Video shows battery after 48hours on charge, and now it runs for about 10-15minutes before failing. the claimed capacity. My suspicions were proven correct when I compared their runtime with the genuine batteries - these do not have anywhere near their claimed capacity, my 18v leaf blower can drain one of these from full to empty in about 5 minutes. The light-up battery gauge on the units is also not accurate, it only drops about one bar before the battery dies. They DO still work, and I'm happy to use them with tools that don't chew through batteries too fast. e.g. they are a good cheap option if you just need an extra battery for your drill or impact driver. (I would guess that they are really about 2Ah.) But if you really need a battery with capacity, it looks like these batteries are not your best option. Personally, I would spend the extra to get the genuine Ryobi batteries next time.
Broken battery - DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY – Purchased a $80 V8 Dyson battery, received broken, they issued another one and this was also broken, email photos of broken product and still don’t believe it is broken and won’t return my money. misleading product title and then the add to cart button - the link is much further down. They could easily fix the issue by changing their title to “Battery for Ryobi” but I’m guessing that this would mean that they will miss out on all the mistaken purchases that their misleading product title gives them. Based on other reviews I've seen online, I'm not the only one to fall victim to their misleading title. I’d suggest that you look at this company on product review and other sites before buying anything.

3rd party . I just wish I went straight for the dyson for the extra $50. But instead wasted $80 and months of having a vacuum we could t use beyond 20 seconds for months.
Follow-up · After this experience I wouldn’t recommend 3rd party batteries . We went back to a Dyson battery and it’s been great. The fake battery worked for just a few weeks then wouldn’t charge beyond 1 bar and last for 30 seconds vacuuming. I contacted Aubattery 5 times on different forums and they did not reply ever or make any effort to to refund or support me.

Original battery purchase was easy and smooth. Outstanding service kicked in when the purchased battery failed to take a charge. The response was immediate and the warranty replacement was delivered in two days to a regional location. The mark of a good company is how they deal with problems. Highly recommended.

Don’t use AU batteries we ordered parts that went with the battery turned out they were wrong asked for them could we return these parts and buyback the right part. After many emails I was finally told since I ordered the wrong parts there would be no returns.

Ordered a replacement battery for our dyson vacuum thinking it was a v7. Got the battery which didn't fit as it in a v8. Avoid this seller at all cost. Sent me the wrong item and as you can see from other reviews here he has a history of doing that. After I disputed with PayPal , he sent me a threatening email and called me a scammer, would you deal with such a business? This is like thuggery. Bunnings sell the same item. Buy from them.

Save the money and avoid! I would assume that one battery could be faulty, but both behaving exactly the same way is just a SCAM.

Ordered 2 ryobi 8ah 18v battery's and they are labelled 8ah. They are the same size as the genuine 5ah ryobi battery's and do not last as long. Thought I would give them a go, given how cheap they were but in the future I will stick to originals. You get what you pay for I guess and you certainly do with these.
