Ordered a 18650 battery. Emailed and asked where it was, a few more days they said. Waited another week. Emailed again and a few more days they said. Did a PayPal dispute and got money back. Battery arrived 4 weeks later. Sony VTC6 battery. Capacity tested at 3000mah. I ordered VTC6 from Elemex.com.au but the VTC6 batteries from them were fake, only 2300mah if lucky. Changed review to 4 stars

Given some of these reviews which I read after placing my order, I have been quite vigilant in checking that I received the correct product.

Reputable business – I ordered a replacement battery for a galaxy tab s2 on 12/11/23. It was despatched on 16/11 and reached me in Perth on 22/11. The battery was more expensive than buying from Ali Express, but I was happy to pay the premium to support an Australian business that said the battery was in stock, so I ordered it. did not expect to see the battery at all. The business' ABN is missing from the tax invoice I was given, but I was given the ABN within a couple of days after querying that by email. The battery that arrived is an exact replacement for the original. I have fitted it into the tablet, charged it up without difficulty and it is holding the charge. I'm happy with my purchase and with Ausbatteries. Apart from the ABN, I can't fault them.

Ordered 3 batteries. Paid $10 postage. Was told delay of 3 weeks due to stock shortages- fair enough. one, given a tracking number that said the parcel was being Returned To Sender. After emailing sales for a refund, "John" insulted me for providing a wrong address (it was NOT wrong!!) and pushed hard for a different delivery address. I submitted a Paypal dispute and lost because the seller provided Paypal another fake tracking number to win the dispute and deny the refund. Now I realise that they are also gleaning signficant personal ID (name, email, phone, address) from buyers and likely on-selling that for profit as well. This is a sophisticated scam and in 20 years of online shopping I've been very lucky to never encounter a situation like this where the buyer is robbed so helplessly.

Do not deal with this company. After numerous emails over 4 weeks went to NSW Fair Work this finally prompted a response, they basically called me a liar saying they had tried to contact me numerous times which is completely false. Small battery did not arrive. I got an "insufficient postage" card from Australia Post and I had to pay $9.55 extra over the original $3.50. PayPal wouldn't do anything because they said the parcel eventually arrived so it was"case closed". Ausbatteries have not replied to my many requests for a postage refund. I received a response stating that the product had been shipped. After waiting another week with no delivery, I followed up again. This time, a customer service representative named “John via RT” provided a tracking number that turned out to be unrelated to my order, as confirmed by Australia Post.

I sent another email requesting either a refund or the correct product, but received no response until I wrote them that I would file a complaint with the Consumer Forum. I still have not received either the refund or the product.

Based on my experience, I believe this company to be unreliable and potentially fraudulent. I strongly advise others not to purchase from Ausbatteries. Their customer service is a big zero.

My one regret is not checking out this mob with "productreview.com.au" prior to placing my order. My order for a simple button battery was placed and acknowledged as received by Ausbatteries on 17Apr2025. Ordered a stocked battery item. Two weeks after ordering I get an email saying the item is not in stock and expected delivery would be in more than 2 weeks. Then I asked for my order to be cancelled and refunded. Order battery. They send email a week later stating delay to stock, will be delivered 2 weeks late. 1 month later auto reminder lets me know they haven't shipped. Converse with them via email for two weeks where the final message is 'order cancelled, account closed' and they didn't refund the money. I had to open a Paypal dispute to get the funds back. Stay way from this company – Stay away from this company. I ordered a battery two months ago. Paid by Paypal. One month ago they said it was on order and would be posted in a week. Since then - nothing. Expect to do your money.

embarrassingly bad – Steer clear - tracking number took 2 weeks. Order arrived after 3 weeks. Totally wrong product and impossible to receive a replacement. Takes for ever to respond as well.

Avoid at all cost! – Terrible experience! Avoid this place! The incorrect battery was sent, emails and communication attempts ignored, shipping delay.... Shop elsewhere, buyer beware, it's your money and time!
