purchased the purifiers. Our son is sleeping through the night, fully rested and no more sneezing episodes during the night! One in each bedroom and one downstairs in the rumpus / family room too. me tell you I have these 2 units operation about 10m about and the led “dust and pollution” indicator will work almost perfect sync with each other indicting they really do detect the level of pollution in the air well . I normally have to do the filters in the Aircon’s very often but now about 1/4 as often . Yes I have to change over the winix filters often but I am in a workshop making things and i blow the filters out with compressed air before replacement and honestly my health is worth more then a few filters ( winix wish you would do bulk packs ) . In anyone at winix reads this in version 2 please make it possible to disable the automatic sleep mode . While I think this is a awesome feature for most customers the fact the machine enters sleep mode when it senses no light is very up market , for me I want these cranking 24/7 lights on off ect . I’d recommend 2 small handles in the top of the main blow mold also as it will make more easy for old ladies to move around the house when they fall in love with this amazing product . If your very wealthy I’d recommend installing one in ever bedroom , lounge room , office and other space you spend time regularly .
As for health , well I can breath through my nose for the first time in years while at work . My doctor has said my lungs sounds have improved and honestly I get let irritated .

I normally am super skeptical and think this sorta things I’ll use for a week and question my decision , this is not that far . I can imagine if you have more serious health problems then me or have a low immune system this machine could change or save your life .
Your doing gods work winix but seriously pick up your advertisement i really had to go down the rabbit hole to find your product , and also if Bunnings can sell this unit for 350 so can you on your website :)
I have no association with winks but just want to help people like me really not sure if they should buy this or a similar device . Also spoken to friends and family similar devices are not even close to this , you really need this size to make a difference
Amazing product! Notice the difference right away – This purifier is amazing, we purchased it after receiving a smaller model as a Christmas gift. We use it in our large living area and can notice the difference in the air, as silly as that sounds. I suffer from mild asthma and when I use this purifier as well as the one in our bedroom I notice that I need my puffer significantly less. Excellent Air Purifier – I purchased this filter hoping it would make a difference to the air quality in my home which has cats and a dog. After 1 month of use the evidence is clear that this filter works well and is doing a great job of cleaning the air. I am a little horrified of just how much the Pet filter had collected after just 1 month as seen by the before and after photo. run at night in sleep mode. The hayfever in spring is also ov er for my wife and myself. The other really major advantage is that of the carbon filter. In Perth we often suffer from planned burns smog. This irritates my aiways but at least I am now safe in the house with the purifier on. I do not use the built in ionizer after having gone through scientific literature about this. In short, the Winix was a life changer for our family. I had tried smaller ones (the small circular filters) before, but noticed no effects from it. I now bought the Winix for my children as well. Regretfully we need them and they work.
Follow-up · I was asked to write a follow up review with the specific questions if the light bothers me. The answer is no as I switch it off at night, also the frequency of changing the filters depends on how heavy the use is. My filters are replaced after 8-9 months and I vacuum it once a month. They won't respond to my enquiries about this via phone, email, Facebook, and online. I haven't used the unit so far. I'm not sure what to do. The box was also delivered with the label on the bottom of the box. Because of this, I doubt that I received an original item. I want to return it and get my money back. I haven't used the item. I've never seen such poor customer service. I really need an air purifier but I don't trust that I have received a new item and I don't trust this company any more. I want my payment in four cancelled and a refund as I will purchase it elsewhere.
Five stars for customer service – I purchased the subject Air Purifier in 2020, just after the major bushfires. After a few emails in which I provided photos and videos supporting my claim, they've come to the favourable decision to replace my item with a brand new unit, free of charge. This is despite the fact that the defective unit is well over its two year warranty period. I received the new unit yesterday, and couldn't more pleased with the support I got. Kudos to Scott and the Warranty Support Team at Ausclimate. The epitome of world class customer service. I'll defer the unit's review for another time.

This air purifier is the real deal! – Aside from needing it because we have a dog and cats and were really tired of the hair and dander, we decided on the Winix Zero+ Pro 5 Stage purifier when the 2018/19 bushfire smoke was at its worst. miserable. Think levels at ‘500 Hazardous’ in the Victorian Alpine region and we experienced that for nearly two months; it was like being prisoners in our own home. The smoke crept into the house through all the gaps you don’t even realise are there, even in a newly built home, until it permeates and stains every part of your sanctuary. Everything smells like smoke, even your hair, and there’s no escape.
So we bought the Winix Pro 5-Stage hoping for some relief and wow it didn’t disappoint! I was able to relax at home without the smoke-triggered headaches and moved it from lounge room to bedrooms to clean the whole house. It’s an absolute workhorse! Never skipped a beat and delivered everything it said it would. Clean air, no smoke, and the amount of animal dander it caught was so effective it was slightly disturbing! It takes care of absolutely everything and I notice when someone sprays underarm deodorant or toilet spray or does some cooking it eventually senses this air contaminant (even from the next room), goes red and kicks up a gear until its happy the job is done. Then it returns to its peaceful green state until it’s called on again. Like a good butler hah! I love seeing it react to various air quality issues, do its job, and then power down quietly waiting for the ‘bell’ to ring again for service. Completely hands free which I love.
With the next fire season approaching we’ll likely buy a second Winix Pro 5 so I can keep it in the kids’ room permanently as they spend so much time in there. With carpets, paint, insulation, composite wood and soft furnishings emitting VOC’s their entire life, it’s a soup of chemicals for the lungs. Unfortunately it’s worse for kids who with smaller lungs process these chemicals in higher concentrations which do more damage and cause issues like asthma and bronchitis. And it’s worst with brand new homes and furnishings and something most people don’t really think about. What do you do when you’re expecting? Kit out a bedroom with all new furnishings. Disastrous for babies! Formaldehyde and benzene are very, very bad news and everyone should have an air purifier in their nursery, a good one.
The air the Winix delivers is a certain kind of clean you really notice, a job air conditioners just can’t do. I wish I’d thought of it earlier. Worth every dollar! Thanks so much for making such a great product. Keep it up.

plenty of cat hair and dust from the air. We also use it sometimes in our bedrooms for dust removal. In terms of company service, I recently asked AusClimate if they had a spare cover for the dust lens, as the lugs had broken off over years of use. They didn't have any as they said this rarely breaks, but then organised to send me one from South Korea at no cost. THAT is 'old-fashioned service', and is such a contrast to many companies who don't seem to care much about their customers. I am very happy with both the product and the service.
Very happy. We purchased after all the rain we experienced in Qld. Having mildew and white mould in our bedroom. We also have a fluffy cat. For years my husband coughed all night and now he has stopped only after a few days of set up. I found the instructions a bit confusing but there are some great you tubes to watch on it. Amazingly quiet, we have it running 24/7. One thing I have noticed is that it is continually cycling between blue, green, amber and red. Not sure if this is because we have really poor quality air, or there is an issue with machine. We have one of the 4 stage compact air purifiers in the room next to it, and it is always on blue. received a Winix 360 air purifier. The company was notified immediately and I was told my original order would be shipped and they would organise for the incorrect item to be collected the next day. I took a day off work as they required me to be here from 9am to 5pm for their courier. This did not happen. And then the show really began. When I called them again, I was told that my order would not be shipped until the incorrect unit was returned. Strangely enough, after 6 days, my original order arrived. They had Startrack call me twice to arrange me to stay home and wait for them again. Of course I refused based on their track record. Then I received a threatening email (see image attached) that they were going to charge my credit card if I did not get the unit back to them. And so I offered my reply (image also attached). Finally someone senior stepped in (potentially when they realised the unit they had sent me was $600) and asked me to leave the unit outside in my driveway for their courier to pick up on Friday. Apparently even someone senior made no difference as the unit still remains unsecured, uncovered and uninsured in our driveway. So to anyone who may be considering one of their products, do so at your own risk because I can assure you, their customer service is embarrassingly non existent.
Satisfactory – So far it seems ok, although doesn't get rid of house or dog smells. Changing colour of light from red through amber to green and then blue is the only way of knowing if it's actually doing anything. Seems to be in sleep mode a lot. Works well until fan becomes noisy and then its a throw away – Bought this in June 2020 for $615 and it worked well. I diligently cleaned the unit and changed filters which cost about $160 pa. In mid 2023 it became very noisy. After contacting Ausclimate I was told it was the fan and it couldn't be fixed, but they could sell me a new unit for $680. Wow!! fan. To say I am cheesed off is an understatement so I will not be buying a new unit but will try to have it fixed myself. No good making an effective unit to have it die after 3 years and be sent to the tip.

great. The only issue with the old unit is that it is now getting noisy, sounds like a bearing noise. So I have now moved that unit to another room in the house and the new unit to our main lounge kitchen area. New unit is quiet as anything. Definitely recommend.
This product is amazing. I got smaller one for my daughter’s allergies and it really helps. So I got the big one for living room. I am going to put one in all the bedrooms. It’s so quiet on sleep mode and I only use the plasma when someone gets virus and so far I haven’t caught anything when family sick - touch wood! I also notice when someone sprays perfume or cooks the light changes to red indicating air quality change which proved to me it is doing what it promises. I got mine from Harvey Norman as they are great if something goes wrong and can order filter replacements.
Regretful purchase. I bought 2 of these and have been so disspointed with the pre filter which falls off almost as soon as it's stuck in place. Well, so here we go, ordered, picked one up and was very optimistic and excited to say the least. One day and then the next day and then one week later cleaned all the filters and 30 days later changed the Dog filter.
What can I say. We placed it in his bedroom which was less than <30 sq meter, we placed it in open which is around 80 sq meter (picture 4 even says 'great for extra-large rooms up to 100m2). Nothing happened.
As a health professional I would take a 10% reduction in symptom burden. Not that he did not take antihistamies (nasal and oral). Absolutely disappointing.
Would I recommend this product- NO. I mean 10% symptom reduction is not an unrealistic value. But nothing at all is not acceptable. Does the product 'do what is claims to do under Australian Consumer law': NO As a health professional can I suggest this to my patients: NO Will I accept this product if given for free- NO
Where to from here: The company was contacted, and the item was returned under my legal right. My child is back to square one and now will be seeing an immuno-therapist for Injection Immunotherapy (Subcutaneous Immunotherapy - SCIT).

Great Value for Money and Peace of Mind – Such a great machine. I leave it on 24 hrs a day and it is generally very responsive and quiet on most modes except turbo mode - which is what I'd expect. Healthy House – Since I have had the Air Purifier I have noticed a big improve in the amount of dust and particles that were in the house. This was not caused by a dirt filled house more an issue with the house.

the multiple layers of filters and how big a space it will do. My son was sick the day it arrived and when I put it in his room that night he didn’t wake up coughing at all!
